Business Owner

Dr. David Kuo graduated from McGill University and Southern California University of Health and Science. Due to a life altering personal experience following a low back injury with severe, crippling pain, Dr. Kuo became determined to learn as much as possible about this type of injury and how to help people with similar problems.

Dr. Kuo is a dedicated doctor determined to provide the highest quality of care to people who are injured or in pain. Helping people in distress is a personal challenge and passion for him. He believes in the human body’s natural capacity to heal itself with proper guidance. When he’s not treating patients, he enjoys basketball, track and field, and Tae Kwon Do. He is also a classically trained violinist. Dr. Kuo has a strong belief in family and his relationship with God guides him in all aspects of his life.

I highly recommend Dr. Kuo. He really takes the time to treat each case special, depending on your particular needs. I get out of work at 5 and it’s helpful that I can see him after work without having to leave early. If you’re looking for a chiropractor, look no further.

I did some research before I goes to Dr Kuo. He is very patient and very knowledgeable, treats my pain completely, not just treating it locally, but finding out the causes and treats it completely. The clinic is very clean and comfortable, Dr Kuo is a very friendly guy. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend seeing him if you need a chiropractor. Dr. Kuo may have an intimidating face but he’s actually friendly and caring. He likes to ask about your life and what’s new so it’s never one of those awkward silent doctor visits. He has very good interpersonal skills. I see Dr. Kuo to prevent my scoliosis from worsening. He made me more anxious about my condition in the foreseeable future but at least I know I’m doing something about it while I’m still young. Aside from adjusting my spine, he has also instructed me to do some exercises at home to strengthen my back muscles. I’ve also had hand treated after a major car accident. I wasn’t able to put force on my hand for weeks so I asked him to look at it. He ended up cracking it back into place and it was fine again! The process of pushing your muscles back into place may be extremely painful but well worth it. He also tends to my aging father and gives him tips beyond the scope of chiropractics to enhance his lifestyle.
Also, shout out to the receptionist, Winnie. She’s very nice and puts on interesting shows/​movies to watch on the big screen t.v. so you won’t get bored in the waiting room. I also like how I get text notifications the day before my appointment so I never forget!

Hands down, David is one of the best doctors I’ve had the pleasure of knowing!
I first went to see him in early 2015 because of lower back pain. He noticed I had a serious but treatable problem. I was very anxious and concerned but David was willing to take the time to explain why I had the condition as well as layout a course of treatment that fit my lifestyle and schedule, so all of my fears and anxieties were quickly relieved.
After several weeks of treatment we became friends. I really appreciated his willingness to spend extra time and personal attention, even with health issues outside the scope of my treatment. How many doctors will contact you by Facebook or text to make sure you’re doing okay, or send you information that may be helpful.
It was because of David’s attentiveness to my health that he was able to diagnose a unrelated problem which had been ailing me for a long time. And for this I will be forever grateful because I am able resume a lifestyle which I previously was no longer able to lead.
If you’re looking for a doctor with experience and knows what he’s talking about, can get the job done, and most importantly, CARES about his patients, David Kuo is the one you should see. I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM to anyone I know.

I highly recommend Dr. Kuo because he helped me recovered from a misalignment of my jaw bone many years ago which caused severe headaches and dizziness.
Also, Dr. Kuo help healed my Achilles that was in pain for many months.

First time seeing Dr. Kuo and he was super nice. Asked me my problems and then helped me out with my incident. dr. Kuo is very nice, respectful, helpful amazing, and very patient. I was scared seeing a chiropractor but Dr. Kuo made me feel better and explained to me details of what treatments are being done. He made me overcome the fear i have with my previous experience at another office. He is one amazing Dr who does the treatments well and explains to you every step of the way. Every time coming to an office visit his staff provides excellent services and helps you out also accommodating the times with your schedule. Staff is amazing and makes you feel welcomed.
I had an auto accident case and was referred by my brother and yes he has treated my brother here and made him feel a lot better so i was referred by him to give this dr a try. Dr. kuo is amazing and he figured out the problems i had told me the right information after seeing my results from the previous Dr. Before seeing Dr. Kuo i went to another Chiropractic office and that Dr gave me the wring info and scared me. After seeing Dr Kuo and reviewed the results he made me feel at ease knowing my situation can be treated and fixed. Dr kuo made me feel better.

It took me a while to find a good chiropractor in my area. The day before I saw Dr. David Kuo, I had excruciating pain on my upper back, chest and neck. I thought I was having a heart attack. Dr. Kuo patiently explained to me my condition based on my X-​rays and what he could do to help me. Every week I’ve been having significant improvement. For more than two years I would have pain in my lower back every time I would bend. I’m practically pain free now. Dr. David Kuo is heaven-​sent! He is so passionate to help his patients get healed. The back pain had bothered me for over 20 years and I just lived with it.
After I saw Dr. Kuo, the situation has been improved a lot.
He taught me the exercises to relieve the pain and strengthen the muscle.

Dr. Kuo does not give you any empty promise or sugar coat his diagnosis. He makes sure that his patient is held accountable in the process of recovering. During his treatment, he educated me about the source of my back pain and laid out the plan to improve it. The plan includes two kinds of exercises– therapeutic and nuro-​reeducation. When I started seeing Dr. Kuo half a year ago, my daily activities had been compromised due to my chronic back pain for at least 10 years. Now, I am pain free and be able to resume my favorite activity– spending a whole day strolling in a museum.

Unilocal! Not too many people can score five stars in my ratings as I think there is always room for improvement, but Dr. Kuo’ s knowledge, patience and heart really made me feel there is hope for healing and I can also see improvements on my weekly visit. Although he did stress that I can do my exercises more… I know, I know if I can only be more disciplined.
Visit Dr. Kuo if you want a doctor who has compassion and who is willing to teach his patients with love.

I have been getting treatments from Dr. Kuo once a week for over a year. I have problems on my neck/​shoulder/​upper back/​lower back from doing sports and sitting in front of the computer all day long. I have to admit, the treatments are no fun and I scream but I have no more pain when I walk out of the door.

I have been going to Dr. Kuo on and off for the last 1.5 years for low back pain. I first came to him when I was training for a marathon and was experiencing extremely unmanageable pain. He was the only doctor who thought the pain was more than just an injury and suggested getting an X-​ray. Turned out that I was born with a condition that affects my spine, so I have been coming to him to treat the back pain flare ups. Compared to other chiropractors I’ve been to, Dr. Kuo provides the most thorough treatment; rather than just doing ultrasound and ice/​heat, he does manual therapy, adjustments, and stretches & strengthening exercises.
Besides the fact that he provides such great treatment, Dr. Kuo is very friendly, personable, and genuinely cares about the overall well-​being of his patients. There have been multiple occasions where he’s had to act as both a chiropractor and therapist, consoling me when I’m frustrated about the pain.
Overall, I 100% recommend Dr. Kuo and have suggested many friends and family members to see him as well! :)

Dr. Kuo is a wonderful chiropractor!
He’s not your average chiropractor who administers ‘one-​size-​fits-​all’ treatments. He customizes his treatment by making sure he fully understands his patients’ medical history.
I first came to him because I had some suspicions about back pain. He helped me identify my problems and was very patient and thorough in explaining what he was doing during the treatment. He’s even taught me some exercises I can do at home to relieve pain, accelerate healing, and strengthen muscles! Dr. Kuo is very professional, attentive, and knowledgeable. Best of all, he genuinely cares for his patients and will go the extra mile to make sure that they receive the best treatment.
I would highly recommend Dr. Kuo to anyone with chiropractic needs.

I have back pain+TMJ problems for many years and have been spending a lot of money that did many different types of treatments but never really got any better.
