A really disorganized practice. Scheduled me for an appointment that requires a doctor to be present and after 30 minutes of waiting in the reception area they tell me the doctor might not be coming in today.
They tell me the doctor is at another location and that I should drive there to see him. On top of screwing up my appointment, they tell me I will have to wait again after I get to the 2^nd location.
I get to the 2^nd location and they try to collect a 2^nd copay and get me to fill out information irrelevant to my situation.
It’s understandable that people make mistakes but so many mistakes in a row? And most importantly why wasn’t the doctor present when he needed to be?
Just saying… be careful about putting the well-​being of your health in their hands.

We have appointment for 12pm, was there at 11.15am, but still a looongggg wait before being called inside at 12.35pm. Again inside have to wait another 15minutes just for their preparation.
Better to find someplace else unless no more similar place here at LA county.

After coming here the second time I had to update my review and opinion on in this place.
The MRI doctor is one of the nicest doctors I’ve had the pleasure to work with since my accident happened and knowing now that they only have one MRI machine and knowing further the process I had to come back and give them a much more understanding and deserving review.

This is the worse experience ever. My mom had an appointment at 10am for CT scan. Came at 9:20am and filled out the paper work. I’ve ask the receptionist if my mom need to intake any special fluid. They said no. 20 minutes later they called and said my mom need to intake the fluid. They told us to wait 30 – 45 minutes. We’ve waited and waited. Finally 10:30am came by I walk up to them and ask, is it time for her to go in yet. They totally dont seem to care. They went and talk to the person who supposed to do the CT for my mom. He seems to not ever awake yet. Carried no professionalism at all. I guess it’s true, in USA people have a degree but carried no manners at all! So sad, I guess these doctors need a manner class! Anyhow, I will never return back to this facility ever again. Receptionist are bad, they sit there talking about their damn problem in their daily lives. Gossip about other people’s privacy. Oh, did I mention, one of the receptionist dont even speak fluent english! Come on, this is america, I expect people who work in this kind of medical facility speaks at least fluent english!
This place deserve no star at all, but I guess I need to give it a star in order to post comments. I hope all the doctors who refer their patient to this facility actually speak to the person who in charge this business and have them improve their professionalism or else do not refer patient to this place.

I called to make an appointment at 10:30am. I ask the receptionist what their address is. They give me 320 a Garfield. I read on here if you’re late, you wait an hour. I made sure to be here early to fill out paper work. I get to 320 and it’s locked. Finally after several calls, I get a call telling me my appointment was at 10am (which it was not) and that they are located at 235 s Garfield (across the street). So now I arrive at 1035am and have to wait an hour (probably more). This post doesn’t matter anyway because people probably only come here because their other dr referred here and we have no choice but to come to this incompetent place.

Yup been waiting for almost an hour. I had actually called to make earlier appointment. But now by the time I get in (maybe), I might as well have kept the original time.
Seriously the medical profession needs to get with the program. People have better things to do then wait in your office. How about we get a $ 1 discount for every minute you are late?

As an endoscopic spine surgeon I order MRI’s on my patients who come to see me because of pain.
I have never spoken to the staff here nor have I ever visited the facility.
However, I will say that the MRI’s performed are amongst the best quality in the San Gabriel Valley. That’s very meaningful to me and helps me to take better care of my patients.

I have been to Dr. Yang twice now for a HSG and I can’t say enough great things about him and his staff!
The front desk girl was very sweet and friendly! She even checked my insurance and found out my test was covered when I thought it wasn’t.
Dr. yang and his nurse/​assistant are wonderful! They both are very professional while being caring and personable! Thank you!

Came here for an MRI. I was running late for my appointment, so I called the office. I let the receptionist know that I’ll be a little late, and she said not to worry. I came, checked in, and filled out some forms. The receptionist informed me that because I’m a little late, she let those on time go before me. No worries, it was my fault anyways.
I sat down in the waiting area and could hear the two receptionists chatting away. It was so unprofessional of them to talk about their family (husband and children), and money.
I waited for 1.5 hours before I could finally see the doctor. I changed and was on the MRI bed. The whole procedure took about 30 minutes.
Be sure to take off any jewelry before coming. I wasn’t aware of this and had to take off my promise ring (which is tight since I got it resized. Took me a good while to get it off. My finger was red afterwards), my necklace and all of my earrings (four on each side). There was no way I could take out my belly piercing, so I just left that on.

This is based on my only experience with them today after dealing with Madison Radiology in Pasadena, which I will NEVER EVER return to.
I called and inquired about a simple Chest X-​ray. The receptionist told me it would be $ 50 and no appointment was necessary. I was prepared to wait because who knew how busy they were? I walk in 10 minutes later, filled out my paperwork, and paid my fee. It turns out thatI can get the report right after my x-​ray for an additional fee, which I GLADLY paid.
Another 10 minutes later, I was ALL DONE and walked out with my report WITH NO FUSS, DRAMA, or HUSTLE.
The MD did my X-​ray, so I knew he knew what he was doing versus my experience with the X-​ray tech at Madison Radiology.
Everyone was to the point, did their job with no frills or thrills and I appreciate that.

Making an appointment means nothing!!!
I come here only because it’s conveniently located near my work. But sitting in the waiting room for more than an hour after your appointment is ridiculous!
They need to hire more people or simply just don’t overbook.

If you are familiar with Garfield Avenue that cuts through San Gabriel Valley, chances are you drove passed the medical office of Calvin Yang and didn’t even know it. The establishment is «rinky-​dink» as my boyfriend describes it, but we weren’t looking for a Beverly Hills Cedars Sinai, we are looking for a place to grab an MRI, and this was the best place for the most reasonable price in a good location.
The parking lot is small, but no one is in it. The establishment opens up to a old, stuffy lobby, and you must walk down towards the back of the medical office to reach the receptionist. There were two receptionists, one who couldn’t speak English well (but bless her heart she was trying to be as helpful as possible), and the other was a woman who hated my life and started to snap at me (I know she was doing her job but, please ma’am back up!)
The boyfriend and I called this morning to make an appointment, and I was happy that the receptionist was able to get us a slot at 3:30pm. THe boyfriend and I arrived at three this afternoon, and we were right on time. By the time we were able to fill out paperwork, we were pretty much ready to get the MRI scan. Due to complications (doctor’s request, waiting for a fax, etc) the process took a couple hours, but I’m glad that we were able to get it done. Afterwards, we walked across the street to their sister office and received the cd of our scan. The technician would take another week before they could read us the results, but at least we had the MRI scan that we needed (we were going to have a doctor friend take a look at the results.)

The office prefers cash or check if paying out of pocket.

Welcome me with warm smile. The front desk person was attentive and helpful. It was a quick visit for my chest x-​ray.
I came here, because the previous place I’ve called was straight out rude and kept asking me, «What do you wanna do here? How did you get this number?» I just hung up on them and ended up coming here. It was a good choice =D
