Wow! Just had my eyebrows done (permanent makeup) and my lashes tinted and curled by Chen and she is amazing. Chen did a WONDERFUL job and the pain was minimal. Not only was her work great and now I don’t need makeup but she was very kind and paid attention to small details plus the prices are very affordable. I highly recommend Chens services!

Really would love to continue going to them. But the last few times I go, although I make appts with either jean or Chen, I somehow get pawned off to this other woman. I’m sorry, but I don’t like the way this other lady does her facials, she uses alcohol to wipe every extraction, I can smell the heavy pure alcohol. Her extractions always leaves me with bee sting looking spots all over. I even make it a point to them when I first arrive that I don’t want to be switched off to another person. And BAM, once I get my face cleansed, I close my eyes, and BAM! It’s like a magic show. It’s THAT LADY that ends up working on my extractions!!! Again?!? No thanks… I will go without facials forever. Until I find a better place…

I was looking for what could be my new to-​go facial place in Alhambra and came across this place on Unilocal.The $ 50 for a European facial was too good of a deal to pass up, and I booked an appointment for 4:30 PM. The candy was delicious and I have to admit I took more than what was appropriate xD. The esthetician was really friendly and made the experience relaxing. I was surprised by how relatively painless the extraction was compared to other places I’ve been in. The best part was that I still left with, albeit a few tiny red dots, a presentable face!

They are a wonderful group of people. I got my legs waxed with them and they use this different type of wax that is a creamy pink color. I’m not sure what it was but I had hives for a whole day and then it went down. And the hair grew back very quickly, so I’m not so sure how well the wax got the hair from the roots.

Love this place ! The ladies and staff are all so lovely. The first time I went I think her name was Jen she took her time with extractions and I love that they have the face steam. Second time I went the lady was so nice and again she also took her the me massaging the collagen into my skin. I’ll be coming here once a month :) price is not too bad either!

I’m so relaxed and my skin feels amazing. After only two treatments, my skin cleared up and people actually noticed and complimented me on it. Jean is AMAZING!!! Sweetest lady and she is so knowledgeable. She’s thorough and kind and the way she does her job you really feel like she loves what she is doing. They have a lifetime customer with me… THANKS JEAN!!!

omg! i love my lash perm :) i was the one who could never figure out how to curl my lashes with a curler but my lashes are long and straight to the point it got super annoying. now it looks amazing even when i put mascara and take it off, rub my eyes, etc my lashes are still in a pretty curl ^_​^ she even fixed my messed up eyebrows XD next time i’m going to try her facials for sure.

I’ve been coming here for about a year now (has it been that long??) and I have had a good experience. I get the $ 450 package for 11 facials (buy 10 get 1 free), so it’s a really good deal. I usually get my facials with Jean and she is very friendly. I’ve also gotten a few facials with Chen and she also removed a few bumps on my face. Overall, the facials are relaxing and somewhat effective. My concerns are large pores, oily skin, and acne. Jean does a good job of cleaning out the big bumps/​cysts that I’ll get from time to time. The facial last about 1.5 hours. Yes, there’s some pain during extractions, but it’s temporary and I think necessary to maintain the skin. Besides the painful part, I find the facial relaxing and enjoyable and have sometimes fallen asleep. I also really enjoy the mask at the end. There’s 2 hours street parking, but I recommend the free 4-​hour lot in the plaza. They take Visa and Mastercard.

I don’t know why their facials are popular… all that extra pain to save $ 10 – 15??? When she put the tissue paper over my eyes and started applying pressure, I wondered if it was so that she wouldn’t see the tears stream down my face from all the pain she was putting me through.
When I came out of the room and I noticed how much skin she had broken, I was going to give them 1 star. The next day, I had a bunch of scabs and the day after, the scabs started falling off and the discoloration of my skin looked no worse than when I had gone in. The only difference was that my pores were now clear. At least I didn’t have any zits I had to pop myself at the end of this.
I might give them a chance again, if I’m feeling brave. The lady was nice and I loved the mask at the end. And if my lady wasn’t so rushed at the end, I have a feeling my $ 50 facial would’ve taken around 2 hours: O!

Completely satisfied with my facial by Chen. She listened to my concerns and explained every procedure. I was so relaxed that I feel asleep. I went in because I have a horrible dark spot in my nose from doing my own extractions and it looks lighter after one session. Great service and affordable prices.

This review is based off my experience several months prior to this being posted.
I’ve had my share of trying different eye lash extension places and I thought I would give this place a try due to their high ratings. I am now convinced many of the reviews were either bought or just fake.
Originally, I was impressed by the inexpensive deals they offered for the eye lash extensions (either $ 40 or $ 60, can’t remember) for a full set.
I knew something was wrong when the process was done within 20 minutes. (All good eyelash extension places takes at least an hour or longer since they have to glue each lash separately.)
I felt my eye lashes and they were hard as rocks! Not natural and very crusty looking. (I saw my friend later that day who commented «I think you need to reglue your fake lashes.» She thought I had put on cheap disposable lashes…) On top of that, it was burning my eyes. She told me I didn’t even need to wait the 24hours-​no water routine. (The glue USUALLY needs 24 hours to set in so it’ll stick; you have to prevent them from getting wet.)
Right away within 24 hours, the eye lashes started coming off. I noticed there were THREE-​FOUR lashes glued to every ONE of mine. She didn’t bother to separate it and decided it would save her time, effort and money to glue bundles of lashes altogether, thus the short procedure. I wish I had taken photos but they were already falling out the first day. I had to pay extra money at an actual professional who had to pry them off and do them correctly.
I was unimpressed by the customer service. The lady who worked on me (can’t remember her name. She had short hair and a thick accent.) kept commenting on my skin, pores and color; trying to sell me more of their terrible services or products. I don’t appreciate somebody telling me I’m getting wrinkles when my 18 year old smooth skin is very obviously not.
Anyway, I guess you get what you pay for. I learned my lesson and won’t be coming back.

My wife has been coming to CM beautiful for almost 10 years! She loves to come back every month or so. She loves the service and price is very reasonable. The staff is very friendly and I always enjoy waiting for my wife and it’s quiet here.

Got my mole removed here. Great service. Staff was extra kind.

I really enjoyed my facial here. The lady got all of my blackheads out and she was very nice. Everyone I spoke to spoke English which is always a concern for me since I only speak English. I really liked the $ 45 price! I would recommend!

I inherited a lot of great traits from my mom: big smile, charming personality, and silky hair. However, great skin is NOT one of them. I’ve lived with oily skin since my preteen days and while it has gotten better, I wouldn’t say by too much.
I made an appointment the same day I wanted to go in. I happened to have a day off and I wanted to make the most of it by getting a facial (I don’t have to go into work so I figured my face could be a hot red mess). I called in the morning around 10am and was set for a 4:30pm appointment. I was SO relieved after calling around and NO ONE else was able to take me on such short notice.
When I arrived, the place seemed so familiar. It was because I had come here YEARS ago when I was just a wee teenager. However, my pain tolerance must have been a lot lower because I remember crying and swearing off facials forever. Fortunately (or unfortunately), that’s no longer the case because I had the ugliest pimple ever. It needed professional help and I was not fit for it – super guilty of picking.
Chen is such a sweetheart and really easy to talk to. The whole experience (maybe except the prodding, but that’s a necessary evil) was so relaxing that I’m daydreaming about it right now. I was expecting a lot more pain and I’ll see in a couple of days if the pain/​cost was worth it. So far, it’s looking really good and I was even able to walk out today without makeup or feeling like my face was too icky.
I bought a package of facials and I’ll probably be coming back on a monthly basis. I’m really excited to start a passage of cleaner and better skin!

This is my 2^nd year with Chen. She ALWAYS does a fantastic job when waxing my eyebrows! Like anything that comes in pairs, one of my eyebrows isn’t as shaped as the other. She never fails to make them as even as possible without removing too much hair.
The price is great too: $ 8!
If you ever have the time, get a mini facial from Chen as well. You get a choice of a cool or hot facial. I enjoyed both very much and fell asleep on the table BOTH times. Very relaxing place to get pampered.
Haven’t done the makeup services yet, but very excited to try it :)

They always give great discounts! rather than being charged $ 35 for make up, we got charged $ 25 – 28. and Hair for my sisters and I was $ 20 each. SUCH A GREAT DEAL!!!
I suggest Jennie Chen. SHE IS THE BEST!!! SO DETAILED! SHE LISTENS!!! if you do not like the way she did your makeup, she’ll keep adjusting it until you like it. I was very anal about my eyebrows and lip color and she was super patient, sweet and funny!

I got deep cleansing facial $ 45 yesterday from these ladies (sisters, right?) They are top notch and more importantly, my facial was by far the least painful one I’ve gotten in years. Isn’t this awesome? my skin is acne prone combination skin. This means I have a lot of spots to be cleaned with scary needles and painful squeeze. I usually grit my teeth and clench my fists when my pimples are about to be squeezed. At C M beauty consultant, I really didn’t have to do those acts. ha ha. Totally manageable!
And you know how your skin looks right after facial. It’s horrendous. I always used to hide inside my cave a day or two and couldn’t go out without makeup.
But yesterday right after my facial, I looked like a decent human being and was able to dine at a restaurant without my makeup on.
Lastly, this place is so affordable compared to other beauty spas in Hollywood surrounding area which is normally between 80 and 120 dollars. And remember when I got my facial in the fast, the downtime was at least 2 days. It was harsh on my skin, too.
This morning, my skin is smooth and looks amazing. Hoo-​ray!
I am definitely coming back soon and this place would be my number one choice from now on. The owner sisters are super sweet and skillful.
