I don’t recommend anybody to come see Dr​.Vu.
First, she doesn’t have a manner of a doctor. She is unprofessional when arguing with customer. I got filler for my nose, after getting injected, I expressed to her that my nose was not straight and there was lump on my inner eyebrows, and the whole nose looked very lumpy, she got fuzzed and argued with me. The way she talked was very rude and it humiliated the patient, she talked as if I did not know the anatomy of the skull, and asked if I ever studied anatomy !!! She doesn’t know I am a nurse and that was not an appropriate attitude to talk to patients .
Second, she messed up my nose by injecting on the wrong area to shape the height of my nose, now I have to walk around with the lump on the inner of my eye brows where she said the nose Should start from, my face looks like I’m very grumpy. however where the nose needed to be high was not fixed to be. After the injection a week, it got lower and lower. I asked her she said I needed to come back and pay more to make it higher because the portion of my filler was used.
As a person who works in Heath care field, I don’t think this woman has skill and she does not care about what is called «humanity ». She just tries to get your money as much as she can without helping you anything.
Again, I sincerely hope that my bad experience could give you a head up if you have an intention to come see her ! I wish I had checked all this review before seeing her.

DON’T LET YOURSELF BE THE NEXT «LAB RAT»
I recently had a rhinoplasty done by Dr. Hannah Vu. When I initially talked to her, she was very professional and seem like she knows what she doing. However, the result did not come according to what she told me during consultation. She told me she was going add a silicone to the bridge of my nose to make it taller and would make my nostrils smaller. It was exactly how I wanted my nose to be. I trusted her because she sounded very professional, so I had my nose done by her.
Post-​op Day 7:
A week after the surgery was done, I came back to remove my bandages. My nose was still swollen as it supposed to be. However, I told her my nose does not look right because it does not look straight. She said, «It’s okay. Your nose is still swelling that’s why you feel like that. Its normal. You should not worry too much.» I also informed her that I feel a lot of pressure on the inner corner of my eye. It seems like the silicone was placed on the inner corner of my eye and that it doesn’t seem to be placed in the middle of my nose. I can feel it when I touched it. So Dr. Vu pushed it back to the middle of my nose. Luckily the pain was relieved after it was pushed back.
I went home and examined my nose. I was really disappointed because it still does not seem right to me. It was not only swollen, but my nose was also not straight and not symmetrical. I came back the next day and what’s even worse was that she did not spend enough time to check my nose or measure my nose. She did not give my any pain killer or numb my nose. All she did was pushed the silicone toward the middle of the nose AGAIN. I could literally feel the silicone moving from the side of my nose to the middle. It was PAINFUL and HURT me so badly. I was really upset at what happened but I let it go.
So she sent me home and asked to see me within the next 2 weeks for a follow up. Again, the next day when I woke up and check my nose, it still does not look straight and was not center. I came back 2 days afterwards according to her work schedule at the office. I told her please check my nose again. It still did not look straight and was not center to me. She asked me to lay on the table. This time she pushed it VERY HARD. It felt like you have to use all the strength to open the closing jar. Please note that this has already been 10 days since I’ve done my nose with her. She did not give me any pain killer nor numbing my nose at all.
This time when she pushed it hard, I got so upset and angry that I cursed out at her. She was supposed to numb or give me some type of painkiller, but she didn’t. I was so mad and got hurt so badly.
Post-​op Day 10:
It’s been 10 days post surgery date and I still have to wear a cast on to make sure it will not move back to the side of my nose. I complained this issue to her and told her I haven’t been satisfied with her service. She said she read my review online and threatened to post my profile online for others to view. I was disheartened and shocked when she said that to me. This not only was a violation of patient privacy but my self-​esteem.
Afterwards, she told me I have to wait and follow up with her in 5 days.

Post-​op Day 15:
My nose is still not center. I went to see a different Plastic Surgeon and asked him for a consultation. Unfortunately he informed me that there’s nothing to be done at this point since the surgery was recent. I have to wait another few months until my nose is fully recovered before he could do anything.
Overall:
I know
by TV commercials. She sounds professional but she is incompetent and lacks the skill sets to perform her job. Please do yourself a favor and don’t let her professionalism trick you into getting things done by her.
Inexperience and lack the patient care that a doctor should provide to a patient. She always seem to rush out to see the next patient. This is my experience with her at the Bristol Office.

As a groupon addict. I came across Dr Vu skin zone offer .(just a few seconds from where I reside). I TOTALLY can say I love it! Im totally a fan and consider me a regular.. Love the staff !

Curtious staff and good location with plenty parking. Dr. was attentive and efficient.

Groupon deal was my reason of this place and the location (2min from my place) was very attractive in case I become their regular.
I was late like 20min due to heavy traffic. Called the office letting them know I was running late and they were very polite. Got there with no patient in waiting or in rooms. Yet I had to wait 20min because the doc was taking care of something on the computer.
Then her touch on injection was very rough side. Very. Got a small bruise which she warned right after her shot in very plain voice. No concern what so ever.
I actually wanted to ask her some filler options for my future reference, but she told me this during session, after bruise ‘notification’, «You can press ice to minimize bruise for a min each side then excuse yourself». Of course she left the room right after my last shot and I excused myself. There was hi with handshake but no good bye.

Horrible bedside manner! Rude and incredibly unprofessional! All the negative reviews are completely accurate. I’m never stepping foot in her office EVER AGAIN! Dr. Vu is a horrible excuse for doctor and should not be practicing ANYWHERE!

Dr. Vu needs to learn bedside manners! She sure drove me away with her sense of entitlement and disregard of looking me in the eye and even simply missing to say hello. I got up and left because she pushed her ideas and spending more money and failed to listen to what I wanted.

This is an updated review. I went for my 2^nd week follow up to my Botox and filler appointment. My follow up was very satisfactory. Dr. Vu listened to my concerns and provided options to my inquiries. So far, I’m very happy with the changes I’m seeing. I was told that in a week or two I will be seeing even more changes.

I am a 55 year old Latina woman who looks around 40 thanks to Dr. Vu. Need I say more?
In case I do, I came to Dr. Vu’s office a couple of years ago thru a Living Social coupon for botox. Best serendipitous event in my life! I used to spend more money (with mediocre results) in fancier doctors’ offices before coming to Dr. Vu. I keep coming back to Dr. Vu because of her reasonable prices, of course; but that wouldn’t be enough if I weren’t getting such great results with botox and fillers. I love that she has NEVER left me bruised up. Her staff ALWAYS offers me something to prevent bruising before the procedure and ice packs afterwards.
Usually, our interaction is short and to the point. I didn’t decide to come back to Dr. Vu because of her bedside manners, (I prefer Doctors who are more skilled than warm and fuzzy, though). I decided to come back to her because I liked the results on my face.
Dr. Vu’s background in architecture makes her conscious of form, visual effects and proportions, which is exactly what I needed since due to some accidents in my life, my face had some asymmetries. She took care of that beautifully! I could never thank her enough for knowing what needed to be done; even though at the time, I was insisting on a different course of action– she was firm enough with me to stop me from overfilling and making my problem worse. She convinced me NOT to do too much, when I wanted to get it done, all at once. She insisted I needed to go slow in order for her to assess how much needed to be done the next time. And the results speak for themselves!
I needed someone to be firm with me and protect me from myself, not someone who just wanted to make me feel good at that moment and get my money.
I über-​highly recommend Dr. Vu and encourage people to trust her aesthetic perception. It has paid for me beautifully and saved me quite a lot of money. Now I need to get used to being approached by guys in their 20’s whose mouth drops to the floor when I tell them my age. (I am not exaggerating, except for the floor part.)
PS: She is so good at painless injections, I don’t even use the anesthetic cream they offer me before the procedure. So far, I haven’t experienced anything that would make me go back to using the cream. I can withstand some minor discomfort and it has never gone beyond that.

Horrible experience. GO ELSEWHERE. I went to Dr. Hannah Vu on several occasions — mainly because I’m a freckly girl. Well, I finally let her talk me into removing a freckle above my lip, which I always thought was really cute, but she kept saying otherwise. She assured me there would be NO SCAR WHATSOEVER and it would FADE COMPLETELY. Ummm… not so much. I told her that it really burned that time in the area she used the laser, and sure enough, I was left with a laser burn mark. The whole area is also red and raised and unsightly, and it’s been nearly a year. When I went back four months after the treatment, she was incredibly rude. I was surprised because she’d always been nice in the past, but as everyone else on Unilocal says, once you question her ways or say you’re unhappy with a procedure, she changes. She literally just stared in the mirror and posed for a while and told me to use scar creams. I reminded her about all her many scar-​free promises, and she said that since it’s the lip region it’s likely to scar. Um, WHAT??? So what was her expert medical advice? «Let people look at you from three feet away.» THREE FEET AWAY. Are you fucking kidding me??? Then she shoves a needle into my face and injects me with a steroid. It was super painful and overall an awful experience. When I later phoned her receptionist repeatedly, she gave me her cell number to text me photos (since the area had gotten worse). So I sent pictures and said all I was asking was for my money back, and possibly to cover the cost of a corrective procedure to get it fixed elsewhere. The receptionist told me to come back in. I kept saying I wasn’t comfortable returning yet again to show her the same thing and receive that hostility. She ignored all my messages after that. They’ve since disputed my Care credit claim, and have remained silent. I mean, if you go to get your hair cut somewhere, and the hair dresser really fucks up and you hate it, do you still have to pay the money you’re charged? No. But I’m still paying off the four hundred dollars for this and will likely have to spend five hundred or more to get it corrected. As I told the receptionist, «Of course I’m upset. This is MY FACE.» I wish I’d read the reviews. So manipulative and disappointing.

I am almost hitting 30 soon and I noticed I’m starting to get some fine lines. I searched the internet what surgical clinics are close by to me so I came here to doctor Hannah vu, and she was very patient and kind and understanding to my needs. She looked at my face and assessed right away the measures and steps I needed to achieve my goal. She was very professional, and I am really happy with my results.

Bought groupon because the clinic I usually go to is very far, and this place is close by so I wanted to see of I can switch. The other reviewers r right, dr is very cold, in and out in 2 min. What worries me is that I felt she only prick my skin not my muscle. I’ve tried a few places in the past and this is the ONLY place that does not take their time to make sure it’s hitting the right muscle. I know what happens when shit goes wrong. I have a very important event coming up I hope I don’t have a lopsided smile :(

Silly me, I didn’t read the reviews before I bought my groupon… now I’m sitting here waiting (65 minutes and counting) and worrying that I will get a hard pitch and some watered-​down treatment. The poor staff are so sweet, constantly apologizing. So much for a «lunch procedure.»
The after: I waited a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes… all this waiting after telling me that my appointment was the last possible appointment… here I am at 1:30, no lunch and 30 minutes late to rerun to work. I considered leaving but they had already taken (redeemed) my $.
Dr Vu was in an out in 5 minutes– no bedside manner or warmth– left the door open as I payed there blotting the prick marks.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THIS DR!
If your not planning on agreeing to all her up-​sell, then expect a very cold and sloppy treatment! Make sure and watch exactly what she’s giving you if your going in for injections; you may not get what your paying for.

I bought a Groupon for $ 99 for 20 units of Botox, knowing that I would need more, I was pleased though with the terrific price Dr. Vu offered above the initial 20u– We also discussed fillers, based on which last longer, best value for your dollar, and I opted to get my fillers at the same time, as the price offered was great.
Dr Vu took her time with me, making sure I was comfortable and numb before the fillers since my skin is so sensitive — The Botox was done quickly with a few prickels, but she knew exactly where to inject it. I woke up a bit swollen but applied ice packs for 20 min, and all is looking as it should — Dr Vu has you return in 2 to 3 weeks to see the results, something no one else has ever offered to me. I like Dr Vu and her staff, and plan to see them again as my needs change. It was a great experience. Thanks!

Don’t go here.
I went because I had an Amazon Local voucher ($ 99 for 20 units of Botox). The office staff was very nice. The assistant that had me sign the usual waivers noted that the service was $ 99 for 20 units that was already paid, plus $ 8 per unit for any additional that the doctor deemed necessary. That’s when the sirens went off in my head.
The doctor came in 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time and introduced herself, and I told her that I wanted the treatment between my eyes. She lifted my bangs and noted that I had a VERY high forehead. (Uh, I know that… hence the bangs.) So, she said that she needed to use 30 units rather than 20, which was going to be $ 80 extra. This wasn’t my first Botox experience, so I knew that 20 units would be sufficient and I said, «Well, do what you can with 20 units.»
And that’s when her attitude changed.
While she was filling the syringe, she told me about some whiz-​bang laser she had that could remove a mole from my face in one treatment with no scarring. (Thanks, but I didn’t ask about removing it.) Then she had me lie down and she started JABBING the needle into my forehead, causing a great deal of pain. At that point, I just wanted to get out of there. She gave me a Kleenex to dab at the multiple needle entry points and told me to come back in 2 weeks for a follow-​up if I wanted to. Then she walked out without any eye contact and left the door wide open while I was still lying on the table.
I understand that this industry is essentially one big sales pitch, but some common decency would have gone a long way, no matter how much money I had in my pocket.

I wish I had not purchased a Living Social voucher and gone here for Botox. I should have stuck with my regular place where I pay a bit more, but get good service.
I’ve learned my lessons:
1) It’s not always best to try to find a deal
2) Go somewhere you trust when you let someone inject something into your head!
After waiting 50 minutes past my appointment time (which is fine if the service is good) I was promptly given the up-​sell by the Dr., who seemed cold when I assured her all I needed was what I purchased with the voucher. I agreed to add two more units. Then she quickly told me to lay down, made a number of quick sharp pokes in my forehead, and left saying «Come back in two weeks.» I didn’t even know what she was talking about because I’ve never been told to come back in two weeks. I only get Botox every six months or so. She didn’t explain anything, have good bed-​side manner, or give any after-​care directions. She was out in under 5 minutes. I was at the clinic for about 60.
I also didn’t see the results that I usually do with the same units, which makes me suspicious. Did she give me less to make up for the voucher price? Did she tell me to come back in two weeks because she knew I’d need more because of it? I have no idea, but the quick and cool service doesn’t instill trust.
Isn’t offering a LS deal to attract return customers? What’s the point of offering a deal if you aren’t going to offer good service and create a return customer? Maybe for them it’s just to try to up-​sell.
Unfortunately the experience with the Dr. felt like a one-​star. The second star is for the kind receptionist and staff that apologized for the wait and were very friendly.

I have been Skin Zone for many years for Botox and Restylane and Radiesse injections. I am very satisfied for the results. If you are looking for a clinic for all the injections and does well, then looking for no further than Skin Zone. I highly recommend Dr. Hannah Vu for any man and woman who want a fantastic, knowledgeable esthetician who will ensure their skin is kept young and replenished healthy.
