Had a car key that needed to be made. Went to local Home Depot and waited about 15 minutes to be told that they didn’t have the kind of key template to make a copy. Fortunately, the employee was familiar with the area and recommended this local shop. I’m glad he did. The B & B rep was very helpful and knew exactly what kind of make and model key to find. In less than 5 minutes he made a perfect copy for $ 6. Very fast and friendly. Highly recommend.

I came here to get a few locks re-​keyed. It only costs $ 7/​ea, which seems really inexpensive to me. Now all my locks are on the same key! Super convenient.
Service was prompt and friendly. I dropped off the locks and returned an hour later, but it probably takes about 10 – 15 min per lock.
Don’t expect a deal for hardware, but they carry items not found in the big box stores.
I’ll be back for future locksmithing services.

I have a box that I locked with a padlock and have recently lost my keys and I have quite important stuff inside that box. I stopped by B&B to see if they could help me unlock the padlock. When I first showed them the box, the lady there said I could cut up the box and get a new box, in which my heart immediately sank because I don’t currently have any tool to do that (and I already thought about it), and the box is rather cute. Even though she said that, she still took a look at the padlock and went to get her tools. She first told me that it would be $ 5 and started working on it. It took her only a couple minutes and she decided to charge me $ 3 instead. The service was superb and really quick. Thanks for the help!

So my Scion tC key always breaks on me (my fault). I came here to see if they were willing to cut my key provided that I bring my own key shell (which several places in the area were unwilling to do without making me pay around $ 200.) they only charged me a few bucks and only took a few minutes and I was on my way thank God for this place!

Two keys made in just a minute for 2 dollars. Parking is also convenient since they have a parking lot.

This place rocks! They are great at duplicating keys and rekeying locks and deadbolts. I have never had a key cut here that didn’t work perfectly.
In the past, I used to have keys cut at Home Depot or though one of those serve yourself kiosks. But I quickly found that many times, the keys didn’t work smoothly, or sometimes, didn’t work at all. B & B is a professional operation and they know what they’re doing.
They are always friendly, and I think their pricing is very fair.

I was in a jam. I was selling a condo unit in Monterey Park and we were closing that day. The last tenant forgot to leave the mailbox key, so I needed a locksmith that would be able to get out there and make a duplicate key, so that we could close. B&B came out within 45 minutes and by the time I arrived, the keys were already duplicated and the job was done. Cost my client only $ 65.

These guys were fantastic! I called them after being locked out of my house by my real estate agent. They were there in less than 15 minutes and had the door open in less than 1 minute! Thank you!

Deadbolt replacement for a residential door.
I was going to do it myself, but this was a special lock that might require a retrofit, so I’m glad I called B & B instead. Yup, adjustments to the door were required for this lock to fit properly. Paul was a terrific technician. He arrived when promised; he even called to let me know he had arrived and was outside the residence.
Paul really knew his stuff. Fast installation. Efficient and friendly. Answered my pesky questions. And make appropriate adjustments to the door with proper tools. Even did a cleanup of the metal shavings and wood chips… shaking out the rug outside and vacuuming.
PROS: Paul thoroughly tested the lock with both keys. He could tell the lock wasn’t moving smoothly into place, so he fine-​tuned the fit until it slid into place easily. He was precise and he cared to do the installation correctly. This impressed me. He also gave my mom a senior discount when she asked for one. Good on him for making a customer happy and maintaining good customer relations for possible future business. Well done, Paul.
OVERALL: Good competitive prices (House call and installation are separate charges). Technician is a perfectionist (YAY!!)…and quick. Also arrived within the time promised. No problem recommending this locksmith to friends. (Credit cards except AMEX accepted, FYI).

I’ve been driving around a ghetto car key. The thing is that the actual key detached from the remote part (not broken it just popped off somehow) ANYWAY. I somehow dropped the metal part and I thought I was totally screwed. Thank goodness I found this place! I still had the remote part and a spare key (yes I know I could have just used my spare but it’s not as easy as it sounds. Personal reasons. ANYWAY!) So he was able to make my key and transfer everything from my remote shell into a new one all for $ 30! Good god so much relief since I was stressing out about getting a new key from the dealership. $ 250? No thanks.

A great place to get a remote for your gate. Simple and quick.

My garage broke and I could no longer open the garage. I had no idea who to call but happen to find this place. This place was recommended by a friend whom had their garage repaired recently. I thought it was gonna be hard to find someone to come out for repair, but I was able to schedule for a guy to come out the next day.
The guy came out and said it was a simple fix. The plastic latch that hooks to the top of the long axel broke. It didn’t take him longer than 30 mins to fix it. He noticed that the axel was set higher than it should and this is what is causes a hard open and closure of the door. He made the recommendation to make the proper adjustment so it closes more softly. I never knew that was the reason why the garage door slammed. But that did the trick.
I thought this will cause me a couple hundred of dollars. But he only charged me $ 75 for parts and labor! Can you believe that??? I was so amazed how dirt cheap it was.
I would highly recommend them for any future garage repairs. They rock!!!

I have only had one brief experience here, but it was so enjoyable that not only would I return, but I have no problem recommending them to others in a review.
I’m not sure how to explain in writing what I went in for… but it had to do with a dead bolt lock on one of the doors in my warehouse. I wanted to change it from being keyed entry on both sides of the lock, to have a knob on one side, and a keyed entrance on the other side. If it sounds confusing written down… you should have heard me trying to explain it over the phone!
Even still, the man on the other end of the line was incredibly patient and helpful. I didn’t get the name of the sales associate who helped me, but he was REALLY awesome. I can tell you that leaving Mission Hardware and Home Depot confused and empty handed, this introduction was MUCH APPRECIATED.
Over the phone and in person, the gentlemen who assisted me was really helpful and informative. I didn’t catch his name, but he was the only one wearing glasses. LOL. He even explained to me how to change the lock out myself. Something I really thought didn’t need to be explained at the time, but as I was installing the knob, I was so glad he took the time to tell my unappreciative butt. If he wouldn’t have explained some things to me, it would have taken me much longer than the few minutes it did.
I was really pleased and thankful with my experience here. I will be back!
P. S. I wasn’t in the market for a safe at the moment, but they had an impressive selection, just in case someone out there is looking.

Was in need of getting my house key duplicated. $ 1.25 each. Yeah sure you can go to Wal-​Mart and get it done for under a dollar. But I sure as heck don’t want to go back there when the key don’t work (which seems to be the case when I google it); waste of my time just to save about a quarter in my opinion.

Great place, took less than a minute to have two of my keys duplicated. Only $ 2.50 for both keys — meaning $ 1.25 for each duplicate. I got them in separate colors too which is nice.
Service and getting the job done, I’m sure is top notch. The ding off the 5 star is I walked into the store and someone came but he was on the phone for like 10 minutes before he finally assisted me. No one was in the shop except for me. That wait was longer than getting my keys duped.
Other than that, like everyone says, this place gets the job done.

After researching how to make an extra Honda Accord Coupe remote and key and seeing that B & B Lock was able to cut and program one, I bought a key off of ebay and brought it to their shop.
They recommended using a Genuine Honda Key FOB, but I had already purchased an aftermarket one with OEM Honda parts. There was about a $ 10.00 difference for the keys.
I don’t remember who was helping me, but there are four guys who work at the shop. The first guy who helped me was able to cut it, but was having problems programming the key. About an hour later, another guy came back from a job and took over trying to program the key, but he was having the same problems. The portable computer that connects to the car then programs the key was saying «Access Denied». They B & B guys called the company and were told that they have never seen this problem before and that their software update should have been new enough to program the key. Anyways, B & B updated their software to the newest «Beta» version, but the key still would not program.
While waiting, I purchased a door lever with key lock for my garage door. It was made by a company called Cal-​Royal and was about $ 24.00 plus I paid for it to be re-​keyed for $ 7.00. It’s compatible with Kwikset and Defiant (Home Depot brand). It was an impulse buy, so I didn’t do any research on prices, but the price seemed fair. (I looked online later and it was a fair price).
So, about four hours later, B & B was unable to program the Honda key. The normal fee to cut and program the key is $ 85.00 and they charged me $ 40.00 since they were unable to program it. Ultimately, it was not the key (Genuine or Aftermarket), but the car that was the problem. I’ll have to go to the Honda Dealer, which is something I was trying to avoid.
I changed out my door lever for my garage door in about 10 minutes. It was an easy process.

These guys have been around for years. They have the copied the Hardest keys for me. All House keys, auto keys (original Ferrari /​Lambo had to be ordered, way less than dealer) alarm and transponder keys for new Lexus /​Toyota.
They have rekeyed and changed locks for me from Santa Monica to Chino Hills. They even have garage clickers big and small, repaired /​replaced garage doors for me as well.
I trust these guys for years. They can sometimes do late night repairs for an additional cost for emergencies if necessary.
