All the reviews I read previous to visiting them today, were true. They front desk lady is so helpful, kind and very knowledgeable. She even gave me extra tips on changing my oil and oil filter — for my Mini Cooper — when I told her I was doing it for the first time today. As an added benefit, they are the only retailers of Euro brand Liqui Moly. So happy I came here. Their low market prices and high standard service let’s you know you’re spending your money in the right place.

I’ve been going here for the past year and today is the last day I go here. Dude is cool af been getting my liqui moly here and dude gave me at price from what he sold it for even though it raised in price. But today I got a thermostat for my car read the reviews and it was really bad I called to ask about refund policy he said do you have a receipt I told him you didn’t give me one he said I give everybody one and just hung up on me. I just take that as not helping the consumer what so ever.

This place is now as of 8÷2÷11 at 1928 Valley Blvd — they moved.
I’m into this place. I am visiting friends and family while on my vacation in LA. I love working on my car as a hobby, and on the drive down from Oaktown, I noticed some looseness in my car’s steering/​suspension. I Unilocaled for a close auto parts place and tried this place out.
A small mom’n’pop operation on Valley. I called ahead for Acura upper control arms, to be sure the prices were reasonable before going into to get my fully supply of parts. Upon arrival I inquired about a few other parts that wanted to pick up; rear sway bar bushing, sway bar end-​link kits, back rotors, and rear pads. All the prices I was quoted were very reasonable. By reasonable I mean only a few bucks, literally 0 $-5 $ more than the amazon prices and about the same as Rock
on an exact part/​brand part-​to-​part comparison. But the best is that A-​1 is about 10 – 30 $ cheaper from the Kragen/Oreilly’s, Autozone, and Pepboy prices on an exact/​brand part-​to-​part comparison (btw I usually go to Kragen/Oreilly’s for the selection of higher grade parts). The parts were all available for pick-​up, within 2 hours, except for the rear sway bar bushings and end links which were a special delivery requiring a couple days.
The woman who helped me was very nice, efficient, and professional. She quoted me prices on the cheapest parts first, then when I inquired for specific brands (moog, bemix, brembo) she quoted me those prices as well.
I will definitely be coming back here whenever I’m in East Los again. Prices are excellent, quality high-​grade parts available, no pressure to buy expensive parts (I did that on my own), and the couple who work here and own this place were super nice.

very helpful lady, I was going cheap buying my own engine air filter and she offered me a reasonably priced «white box» brand.
She was also fine when I decided not to buy the cabin air filter since I was going to go ultra cheap and cut out a home air conditioning filter from homedepot. YES, I’m that cheap.

Prices are way better then other shops like Kragen. They don’t have everything though such as special oil that you use. Mostly great for bigger parts, water pumps, gaskets. Oil filter like half off other stores. What they don’t have they can order.
