Excellent dealership, no pressure for sales. Helpful and gives great prices on new cars. We are on our 2^nd car from them with no regrets.

Found Rosen online and contacted them about a car. Got an answer back the next and talked to the saleman Jason throught text to work out the financing. Went in on a friday to test drive the car and fill out the paperwork. The staff was very friendly and quick about their ways so there wasnt much waiting around. They explained everything to me clear answered all questions honestly and open.

I’ve been a customer of Rosen for over 5 years now and have purchased/​leased a few cars from
them. I have experienced nothing but friendly, genuine professionalism from beginning to end.
If you seek an Internet sales professional, go to Jennifer. She will make you feel comfortable from start to finish. Looking for a general sales professional, go to Jared. He is totally outgoing and will go that extra mile to make sure you’re completely happy with your purchase.
Need an awesome car wash, see Carlos. I believe he may be a service professional (technician) as well but either way this guy goes out of his way for Rosen customers.
I pulled up to the car wash today (Thursday) and he informed me that the complimentary car washes for Rosen customers are on Saturdays. Kind of bummed I was ready to drive away before he offered to do it anyways. He said «I’ll do it for you because I’m not busy right now».
It’s really difficult to find that hard working mentality amongst businesses. He could’ve easily taken a break and dismissed me but he didn’t. He even towel dried my car off with a smile. Who does that? I’ve been really happy with this place for a while now but his positive attitude really blew me away. Enough to write this review!

I came in to the dealership today looking for an Elantra and I could not have been happier with the service and experience. I spoke with salesman Randy Trachsler. He was extremely knowledgeable about the car and gave me plenty of good information regarding the process of buying, seeing as this will be my first purchase. I look forward to coming back in and speaking with him again. Any questions I have I know he has the answer to!

For the past 5+ years, they have provided me with prompt, friendly and excellent service.

I recently traded my 2013 Hyundai Azera for a 2015 Genesis at Rosen Hyundai.
I dealt with Mike King. He was courteous throughout the process, and explained the deal fully.
I had previously been here a couple of times for oil changes when I could not get in at Elgin Hyundai. Quick service, with the car returned nice and clean.
My only comment is that they could use a larger waiting area for service.

My leased Santa Fe is a dependable auto. Here I sit for over an hour with a 11:30 oil change. My car still sits in the lot waiting for service… with little hope in sight as it is now the lunch hour. If you bring a lunch, the Rosen’s device speed is not a problem

I bought my 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport Limited 8 month ago. The process was smooth, we loved the sales person, the finance person was a bit much, but overall it was nice and pleasant experience and it was the best deal (we shopped around quite a bit). I would give the place 5 stars at that point. Easiest buy ever!!!
The problem came after, when we started servicing the car at that dealership. After our second service here, it came back with the scratch on driver side mirror, terribly washed, driver seat position changed, car lights switched of, stinking of oil etc. I was told, no problem they would fix the mirror. Ok, not very convenient, but at least the damage will be remedied… I came back on Monday and after waiting over 2 hrs (with my 8 month old baby in my hands), the car came back still with the scratch and due to sanding slightly changed mirror shape. General manager than told me that it was probably scratched in my garage when I was parking (basically politely calling me a liar) and advised me to take it to the body shop and pay out of my pocket to fix it. My odometer read 32 miles more than when I brought it for service, the position of the driver seat was changed (backed all the way) and since I have baby chair in the back, it left a small mark on the back of the front seat (I would need to take care of that as well). The car was «washed» so badly it left dried soap and water marks all over car body and my sun roof and made my trim look gray (I did premium wash and wax day before and it looked amazing when I brought it into the shop…). I am still in shock…
My advise — 1. do 360* with manager before the service and maybe take photos for good measure 2. after service do 360*, check the cabin and odometer… Better yet — AVOID!!!
I never have been treated this badly, after spending nearly $ 40 000 8 month prior!

Bought a used car from this dealer. Very happy with the ease and professionalism of my transaction. Phil D, my salesman was laid back and not high pressure. I appreciated the hospitality and got a great interest rate, even with challenged credit. Very pleased with my buying experience!

Wow is all I have to say after reading all the negative reviews. Some things never change. People those negative reviews are very real. I bought a car from them 5 years ago and my treatment was the same if not worse. These people are very shady and suck at what they do. They treat people like crap especially women! Folks they do not deserve your business, believe me when I tell you this. As far as I am concerned they should be shut down for unfair business practices, they are scammers liars and cheaters. They will take you for the ride of your life and then some. I am a very strong individual and what they did to me back then left me in tears. Yes I filed a complaint with the corporate office at Hyundai and all they could say was that they were sorry for the unfortunate experience that I had. So long story short when it came time for me to trade in this vehicle I went back to domestic and bought me a Ford. Let me tell you the experience was nothing short of being STELLAR. They were Awesome ! I will only by American from now on. Folks keep it here, Ford never has had major issues financially, if they have I never heard of any. KEEP IT REAL! STAY AWAY FROM THESE THIEVES AND THEIR CHEATING LYING WAYS!!!

Service is terrible when you take your car in for service ! They kept telling me I had nails in my tires 2 times I went in the other 2 times the valve stem was loose kept trying to charge me when I asked for the nail they supposedly threw it out ! They are horrible there and tried to charge me when I had warranty I had to argue with the guy ! Long story short I ended up tying up all of my 4 valve stems else where cuz they were all loose ! Watch out for these scam bags that work there! They don’t deserve a start even

I am writing this review just hours after driving all the way from Madison, Wisconsin and back to purchase my first car. My experience at Rosen was nothing short of outstanding, mind-​blowing even.
Having done a ton of research on cars, both in terms of what car I wanted to buy and what a reasonable price would be for the car, I was extremely frustrated by the «aggressive» pricing and the lack of professionalism and decency directed me at dealerships closer to me. Having my questions ignored with demands to visit the dealership and listening to stock speeches about needing to keep the lights on despite more than fair offers are just some of the things I used to expect from scumbag dealers in the industry.
I say «used to» because Jon Muehl and the Rosen team have completely restored my faith in dealerships. My conversation with Jon started out as any other but already stood miles apart from the crowd in their initial response, which was transparent about the rock bottom price of the car and the fees associated with purchasing a new car. The price I was given in their FIRST email was the one I ended up paying for the car — it’s that simple. Of course, all dealerships will claim the price they are offering is the rock bottom price, but Rosen will even match lower offers from ANY dealership. And believe me, I tried to find one.
In addition, I really got to know some of the people working there as, well, people. They are genuine and great people and I felt completely comfortable talking to them. Yes, their job is to sell, but for example, even though I personally did not decide to add extended warranties, I was offered a more than fair price and learned a lot from just listening to Jed explain the components on the car that the extended warranty covered.
From the time I was sitting in the dealership filling out paperwork and other logistics, I could tell that Rosen sells a high volume of cars. Their business model appears to be to sell a lot of cars for small margins, which lines up incentives for both sellers and buyers compared to the ones that try to rip a small amount of customers off with overpriced vehicles. If you are shopping for a car, especially a Hyundai, I would HIGHLY recommend Rosen Hyundai. Whatever your car, you can rest assured that you will be treated with professionalism and walk out with a fair price.

After dealing with several car dealers in the area who attempted to decieve us and kept on telling lies and saying «they could work with us» only to find out they couldn’t we walked into Rosen Hyundai because it was near by and I saw a car I really liked that I thought wasn’t in my price range. But we decided to go anyways just to see if something could work out. Immediately we were met by Andrew who was very easy going and not pushy in any sort of way. We told him our situation (me being a first time buyer at 21 with limited credit history and my mom who filed bankrupcy years back). He gaves us the low down and was honest and straight forward. Didn’t come off as deceiving or trying to trick us. We went in the office filled out the paperwork and then met with a finance manager named Rick. RIck was straight forward telling us what potentially could happen and what the outcome might be but he was willing to work on it and try and give us a reasonable deal. He came back after some time and got us a great deal. Rick wasn’t pushy wasn’t a sneaky sneaker or anything of that sort. He really did us good. I was so happy with my experience here and so wee my parents that my dad ended up getting a car that day too! Never have me or my parents experienced such good customer service. Even when Andrew was dealing with another customer he informed us that he would be stepping away for a test drive and he would be right back. Such good customer service. I know that when I get my next car and I’m still in the area, or even if I’m not, I will be returning here for my next car.

THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!
The people at the Rosen Hyundai dealership in Algonquin are the reason why car dealerships have a terrible reputation. We spent well over $ 50k on two brand new cars at once. If we had known how we would be treated, we would not have turned to even look at this building full of SCAM ARTISTS! We were promised «bumper to bumper coverage» for 10 years. It was the main selling point for us on the 2 cars we bought. The dealership promised us this plan and said the terms would be mailed to us in a few weeks. BIG RED FLAG! When the terms of the warranty finally arrived, they apparently didn’t expect us to read them. There were 6 words on what the plan covered and 3 PAGES on what is excluded: EVERYTHING. The engine, the electric/​hybrid system, the body, the interior, NOTHING WAS COVERED! We called the insurance company and they confirmed that almost nothing was under that warranty and were surprised someone had actually told us it was «bumper to bumper.» Once confronted, we were told to wait a few more days for them to gather the paperwork from the insurance company outlining the policy, not knowing we had called already trying to cancel directly. By some coincidence, those few days we were asked to wait were also the end of the month… ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS THEIR COMMISSION! The personnel is extremely rude after you’ve bought the car and have driven us to multiple serious conversations about attempting to return the cars. This has been one of the most frustrating customer experiences we have ever dealt with. Buying a house was nothing compared to the CONS they attempted at this dealership. We were fooled by the good reviews and decent deal but once the sale was finalized, they attempted to pull any dollar they could out of us! We are in the midst of the cancellation process and are considering bringing lawyers into this. PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE! Go to a different dealership, it’s only a Hyundai, or DO NOT EVEN LISTEN TO THEIR WARRANTY AND PACKAGE OFFERS! HUGE SCAM!

Joseph Sanchez called me and said he was sorry I bought the car from Rosen Hyundai if I was so unhappy with the experience. He told me his appearance was not a 5, and that he was going to go over all the points of the car, but I left too soon. The car was not ready, not clean, did not, and still does not have a bracket for the front license plate. Joseph Sanchez did tell me as I drove away that he would appreciate getting all 10s on the survey that Hyundai was going to send me, though he didn’t follow through with earning 10s (not many car salesmen do).
It would be as if a student turns in a test to his teacher and says, «I would really appreciate getting 100% so my mom won’t ground me.» He also said he bent over backwards to get me the price I wanted on the car. He sold it to me for MSRP. No discount at all. No rust-​proofing, no paint sealant, no turning on the Hyundai BlueLink.
I have purchased at least 30 cars in my lifetime, and this experience was average, as most of my car-​buying experiences have been. In my observation, car salesmen are very nice, and even attentive while the customer is interested in buying a car. After the money exchanged hands, $ 25,000 in this case, there was no follow-​through. I waited for a little over an hour to take delivery.
By the time I got in the car and drove away, I realized it had not been cleaned. I took it back the following Saturday for a car wash, and there is still left-​over tape on the windshield, as well as circular marks when the window fogs. I returned to get the windows tinted, which was done by another company the dealer recommended. This craftsmanship was less than perfect in a few spots.
Overall, I do like the car. I would not have purchased it otherwise, however, receiving a phone call from the salesman complaining about the survey that Hyundai sent to me, and asked me to be honest about, was disheartening. How am I supposed to feel as though honesty is what the company is looking for when they return with negative phone calls? I also wonder, now, if I have been «black-​listed» at the dealership. Are they going to treat me worse now that the survey actually reflected the experience? Also, after such a struggle to try and deliver the car, with 24 hours notice, in drive-​off condition, how will they be able to handle a mechanical breakdown? If this is a system of favors, then they should have said that from the start. I would have filled out all 10s without even thinking about it, however, had I known I was going to receive such a creepy phone call, I would have skipped the whole experience. My rating for the car is 8, my new rating for the sales experience is 0.
I decided the Veloster was too small for me. I took it back and got a Sonata. Scott Levy, Vice President and Gregg in sales were very helpful. They gave me a great deal. I am happy with this car. If you go to Rosen Hyundai, ask for Gregg or Scott. You will have a much more pleasant experience. Mine was a 10. Thanks.

Rosen Hyundai never ceases to amaze… Just not in a good way sadly. I posted a review here 14 days ago about Rosen Hyundai and my experience with them, yet somehow, it was REMOVED. Rosen Hyundai must of convinced Unilocal (who’ll hear it from me soon) to remove my post!
I had a really NEGATIVE experience with Rosen Hyundai, and wanted to share it on the open forum provided by Unilocal.Another dealership helped wash the stank of Rosen Hyundai off of me, and when Rosen Hyundai learned that another dealership earned my business through respect and more importantly HONESTY, they had the negative review removed. Impressive.
However, they didn’t end it there. Rosen Hyundai had the audacity to send me an email telling me that they were aware of my review, and basically tried to figure out who I did business with, and at the same time, slip in a dig at MY character. Are these people that hard up to sell a car? Here’s a tip… Try not being lying and manipulative, and especially don’t stalk people who call you out on your BS, and some day you may earn someone’s business. Until that day comes however… You’re on the verge of crossing the harassment line, and understand that I WON’T allow that to happen!
I’m warning people looking to buy a Hyundai to do it somewhere other than Rosen Hyundai, in Algonquin, IL. Buying a Hyundai is a wise idea. Purchasing it at Rosen Hyundai, in Algonquin, IL… Is the polar opposite.

My wife took her car in for service and was treated very rude. She told them about a problem with the seat and the service tech told her «We will see how you broke it.» Then later, they told her she needed a 30,000 miles service for $ 400+, which included a tire rotation and air filters. I have a toyota and a 30,000 service cost $ 169 through St. Charles Toyota. The only people they treated nicely were the regular old men. I guess we will not be regulars.

Dealt with John Hutton in new cars, empathetic, no pressure, helpful, answered all questions, in/​out the door in less than 90 minutes. Recommend him highly.

DO NOT EVEN WALK IN THE DOOR of ROSEN HYUNDAI! I have purchased a few cars over the years, and have NEVER had worse service than this place. I came in near closing time and they had me put down a $ 100 refundable deposit to hold the car until the next day. The car I wanted has been selling out (I’ve been researching cars for 5 months and know they have been on a wait list etc, otherwise I would not have paid a deposit).
The deal seemed to be going good, until I walked into the finance department. The guy was as sleazy as they come. He was rushing thru paperwork and trying to get me to sign off on papers. I asked «What is the % rate, we have not even discussed interest rates» he said «12.9%» (the SUCKER RATE) I was like, hell no. That would have been a payment of$ 470 a month for 72 months. I am not paying that. He showed me my «trans union credit report» that read that my credit was supposedly in the mid 500’s. Little did they know I had all of my credit reports run the week prior, and my trans union credit was really in the mid 600’s.
As I was standing up and walking out, he scurried and said he would try to get it lower. I told him I was not going to pay more than 6% interest. He came back with 11.9%. I told my dad to get up and that we were leaving. The finance guy told me that if I waited he would try to get it lower. In the end, the lowest he could scurry to get was 9%, but because it was that low, he had to use some «DEALER COUPONS» or something, and I would have to purchase a remote starter, GAP INSURANCE, and some other items after market… in order to keep my interest rate low.
Now, I asked him — «What the hell does me buying a remote starter or your GAP insurance have to do with my INTEREST RATE?» He said that if my rate was that low, (9%) his dealer has to pay over $ 1,000 in fees to get it that low. TOTAL BULL$%^&.
Oh, they also were not going to give me the recent college grad rebate because my «credit was so low».
We walked out. I ended up calling GERALD HYUNDAI in North Aurora (20 miles out of my way) and having them run my credit. I had chatted with Frank L there a few times over texts and over the phone. I literally told him I wanted the car, NO EXTRAS, no dealer added pinstripes, no GAP insurance, and that I wasn’t going to pay more than 6% interest. I told him that I had somewhere to be at 6:30pm and that I wanted to literally come in, drive that car, read and sign papers and leave.
It was literally the best car buying experience ever. I was able to do just that. I was at Gerald Hyundai for about 1.5 hours. Basically just chatting while they wrote up the paperwork, and I drove the car. Also, my interest rate on THEIR trans union had my interest in the 600’s!!!
In the end, my payment is only $ 340 for 72 months! My interest rate is where I wanted and I have the car I wanted without any extra crap on it! I got the college rebate, the loyalty rebate, and PAID $ 1,000 UNDER INVOICE for the car!!!
Here are my questions for you to think about:
How is it that two different dealers ran my credit and they were WAY different?
When will I get my deposit refund back from Rosen?
How could the original interest rate be 12.9% but then within minutes of me walking out he was able to drop it down to 8.9%?
Rosen Hyundai should be ashamed of themselves.
Please, DO NOT SHOP AT ROSEN. Do your research and DO NOT SETTLE FOR having to buy a car with extras you don’t want or need, (dealer add ons just jack up the price, Rosen had offered to remove them for me)
Do not SETTLE for a high interest rate! Don’t be afraid to walk out of the finance office, YOU HAVE THE POWER!

Recently purchased a luxury Hyundai vehicle from their used car department and my overall experience wasn’t great. Like most car sales people they were extremely willing to assist you and were very helpful… until you actually purchased the vehicle.
The price was pretty fair, especially for my trade-​in, although they clearly offered me less of a discount on the car in favor of the higher trade-​in (they tried to take me for an idiot on this one, but it didn’t work). I was able to get a couple things worked into the deal, which made the offer sweeter, but little did I know their customer service would be absolutely horrendous… let me explain…
I purchased the vehicle on Saturday, but it had to get a minor repair done to it. It took A WEEK for them to get the car done. I go to pick up the car and 60−70% of the work they promised to do for me wasn’t done. I tried to explain to my sales guy and his boss about all the things that weren’t done and they promised they would do their best to get it done. Thus, I had to bring the car back a week later (and I don’t live that close) to get «the other stuff» done. I go to pick it up 10 DAYS LATER and I still have 3 – 4 things left that still haven’t gotten done. Now I can’t get a hold of anybody to call me back and feel extremely let down.
You should do yourself a favor and go to a different Hyundai dealership to purchase a used car (I don’t have any experience with their new car department so I have no opinion there). The customer service is terrible, and the rest of the staff just stands around telling you your getting a great deal and how awesome a car it is. I was there for 4 hours one time waiting to get the deal done and a few of their salespeople literally watched a sporting event on the television the entire time. Go deal with some salespeople who actually give a shit. I know I’ll be purchasing my next car from a different dealership.
