What can really be said about a post office? Algonquin’s post office is clean, with friendly, accommodating staff who work quickly & with a smile on their face, even during the craziness of the holidays. Being the holiday season and all, I braved the post office at the end of their business day with my 2 little children. I was met with a line that made me wonder if they were giving away free passports or something. Upon further inspection, I realized that there was only one clerk, working her butt off. About halfway through the line, another clerk materialized out of thin air & the line moved pretty quickly after that. What I love about the USPS is that they tell you the cheapest or fastest way to get your packages to your loved ones(or to your retailer for return). There’s also ample counter space for those of us who need to stamp 37 Christmas cards with a 2 year old«helper» & a 4 month old screamer in a car seat. You can also self-serve at a kiosk(but I have no review on that because I’m oddly intimidated by it). Overall, the Algonquin post office is pretty swell.
