History

Established in 2013.

aLaCart Art roots has been in art education through after school programs that we still offer separately. We redesigned the curriculum for adults in motivational & inspirational venues such as corporate team-​building, fundraisers & therapeutic events. As that market has become increasingly more popular, we now schedule Open Events in local restaurants & clubs along with the private parties, the focus is to have fun painting with friends, interactive entertainment that is engaging, satisfying & a bonding experience. Our artists are accomplished in their own rights as artists & are able to make it fun for everyone.

Business Owner

Debra Johnson, was an adult when she learned to paint professionally. She learned it was a process, a formula to be followed to get reliable results. After a lifetime of working as an artist in a variety of capacities, she found her passion in hosting art programs through schools, parks & libraries. As she market grew so have the opportunities through churches & volunteers looking for new ways to raise money for their favorite charities. Eventually, people starting booking her to paint for private parties in restaurants & she found they were always welcoming her back. As much as she enjoys helping people identify their creativity, she is passionate about people fulfilling their dreams & purpose, which is why she enjoys cultivating artistic spirit. Encouraging them to be the best they can be; sharing their passion with the community at large.
