Woodrow Wilson Memorial Bridge

What a great after-​work hike. We parked at Jones Point and walked to National Harbor. There aren’t many hikes where you can traverse DC, Virginia and Maryland, eat ice cream and ride a Ferris Wheel.

But how do you know if it’s just a bad day, or time to move on with your life?
Virginia is for lovers ??? EWWWW
Drove pass this a billion times can’t believe I haven’t wrote a review yet. so here goes nothing!
It is really stupid! The only missing link for a decent public transportation is something that crosses Woodrow Wilson Memorial Bridge to link transit systems from Virginia and Maryland… For now… you have to cross the bridge yourself (walking or by taxi)…

Great place to go running! There are little information spots that give you a little bit of history on the local area. Pretty cool!

Cool bridge with 6 lanes. Traveled across it many times on our way to and from Virginia and Maryland and vice versa. Cool view. Close to National Harbor!

Pretty cool bridge. Nice that it has the walking/​running/​biking path to get across for those that dare to do so. The view of The National Harbour from here is beautiful at night. If you were unfortunate enough to have had it as apart of your commute prior to it being widened, then you probably appreciate it’s current size much more than those who didn’t.

Great bridge. Bad during rush hour. Great history.
Great view of the new National Harbor Place, Old Town Alexandria, Potomac River. But some of the on and off trip is hard. If you don’t now where you going you get off the wrong exit.
Great day when it clear day not so good when it’s rainy day.

So happy this bridge is 6 lanes now! I remember how backed up it used to get, but not anymore.
I also, love the walking/​biking trails along the bridge. Best idea ever!

Nice Bridge!
I spend my cardio days walking\running on the path\trail along side the bridge. Good Workout its about 6 miles roundtrip. You can run walk ride bikes whatever you choose to do. Nice, pretty clean & nice view
Driving over the bridge is a breeze; no real traffic even during peek hours

I’ve driven this bridge at all times of the day and night and I’m so thankful that I’ve never run into traffic. You always hit traffic on a bridge. Not this one. Sorry if you’re the unlucky soul who gets stuck in traffic after you read this :-) At least you’ll be able to see the water…

This bridge is alright. It’s just a part of the beltway. For those of you from Houston, LA or other areas with plentiful urban sprawl, you’re probably wondering, wtf took so long to build the bridge? Why did it take so long to build the mixing bowl, and why was it so expensive? Houston has plenty of interchanges that never take nearly as long to build as the mixing bowl in Springfield.
I love the fact that you can bike across it. I’ve ridden across this, and it’s pretty neat. It’s not a purty suspension bridge, but it gets the job done.
You can ride across this from Fort Washington into Old Town Alexandria using one of the Segway tours.
The location of the bridge also spans DC, MD, and VA.

Love the new Wilson Bridge — this has eased traffic over the bridge so much!
Also the new bridge looks «beautiful» compared to the old version!

A quick and easy way to cross the Potomac!
This concrete monolith is NICE! Multiple lanes, well-​marked and plentiful signage, express or thru lanes, and even a bike path plus observation scopes alongside!
I –had– to get the Bachelorette home to Arlington. The WWB made it quick and easy.
One thing about location, the Unilocal address lists DC, I’m almost certain its not in DC. Problem is is it in MD or VA? That’s not clear either. Ah well, as long as it gets me where I’m going fast and safe.
I’d hate to be around when the draw bridge opens or if there is a traffic incident though…
When it comes to crossing the Potomac in a car, this is as good as it gets!
