Walker’s House of Hair

Luvinia has done the Brazilian Blowout, wash/​blow/​curl, and weave for me. She always fits me in, even when her place is crazy-​busy! Her staff (now) is very accommodating and she always can fix whatever I’ve managed to do to my hair. She is a professional with many years of experience. So glad I found her and her wonderful salon.

I visited Walkers for three years now. My son gets his haircuts by Slack who by far is one of the best barbers I’ve met, very professional. He’s trimmed my short cut a time or two as well.
On my last visit I decided to get my hair done. Luvenia «Venie» acknowledged me upon arrival and I was seated in her chair in less than 10 minutes. She is the owner by the way.
I was told how her policy worked, walk ins only. This is acceptable for me, I rarely have been to a salon since I moved to VA because I don’t like making an appointment then waiting 30 minutes to 1.5 hours before I’m in a chair. My time is valuable and most stylists do not manage their appointments adequately. I was able to get my cute crop cut, perm, and style for a reasonable price. I will definitely go back and I’ve already referred countless people just off my hair cut (cuts are VERY important).
If you’re looking to grow out your hair I was told by one of the clients waiting that Venie is the person to see.
So as the rating says: I’m a fan!

Worse ever. I was ignored and I felt like the owner just was not interested in doing my hair. I left very upset. The place was dirty and I hope that NO ONE goes to this shop!
