!! A few months ago, Vannora dyed my hair for the first time ever! YES, I know I’m late on the feedback but I really wanted to share how awesome my hair still looks! I have very thick, curly natural hair and through the years, I’ve had some bad salon experiences with price gouging and hair shaming scenarios because of it. I was grateful that Vannora was up for the challenge! She made me feel proud of my hair and love it even more! I highly recommend V Studios whether you’re looking for latest hair trend or just the basics she can do it all!

Have found my salon addiction here in the Del Ray/D.C. area! Vannora corrected a rash of torture I’d subjected my hair to over the years and gave me phenomenal PHENOMENAL A-​list style.

Vannora is amazing! I went in to get a long overdue haircut and she did an awesome job! She has a great attention to detail, and she really took her time with me. I will definitely go back!

I got my hair cut today with Vannora, and couldn’t be happier. I have been in search of a new hair salon since my old hairstylist moved to Miami, and I can say without a doubt I have found my new home :) Vannora was so pleasant to talk with and made the entire experience so enjoyable. My hair was pretty damaged, and she brought it back to life. I am normally really emotional about my hair, but there will be no tears today!
I have to say it also really nice being in a private studio. You can just get down to business and not have to worry about being surrounded by a ton of other people.

When I called Venora I was very specific about how I wanted my color to look. I also told her that I needed a trim but I wanted to keep as much length as possible so not cut no more than 1″ off! She booked me and gave me a pretty reasonable price quote.
When I arrived at my appointment Venora listened to what I wanted. She made a professional recommendation. She explained the best way to get me to the look I wanted. The best part was at the end when she told me that because I had gone with her recommendation the price was even lower since it was an easier process!
She knew that by suggesting this other method she would be losing money and didn’t let that stand in the way of her decision. Such a professional!
My hair turned out better than I had in mind! And she didn’t over cut! I’m so happy and highly recommend her!

It’s rare to find a talented colorist AND a stylist in one person. Vannora has this and more. Lots of skill good energy in this small space. She is a professional who listens and responds to her clients’ needs!

This was my first visit to V Studio. Vannora is amazing, I travel with my job and have to find a stylist everywhere I go. When I arrived it was like she had been my stylist for years. We had awesome conversation, very professional and personable and my hair came out perfectly. While I am in this area she is my stylist and if I am ever back in this area I will definitely go to her!

After so many trial runs with different hairstylists that left me unhappy with my cut, I am so glad I finally found my go-​to hairstylist. I showed V a picture of the long layered cut I wanted and I left the salon feeling pretty and looking less tired! She’s very talented and has such a great personality. You will feel like you’ve been going to her for years during your first visit!

Vannora. Is. Fabulous. I am an Army wife new to the area. I was nervous about a new colorist as a dark brunette who’d recently gone red. Vannora improved my color and gave me a great cut that was exactly what I asked for. She’s also personable and fun. So happy to have found my new stylist on my first try in Alexandria.

I had a ball to go to and didn’t make any appointments in advance. I called in the morning and she was able to fit me in at the perfect time that day. I told her what I wanted and showed he some pins. She gave me so much mor tan I expected and she had A LOT to deal with. I have thick and heavily damaged hair and some breakage from me bleaching out blue over the course of 6 months. I got a much better do than I would have ANY WHERE! Better than any chain. She played with a few dos before deciding what she would do. I gave her creative rights over my head. I received so many complements on the hair! I did my own make up (don’t blame her)

I had an absolute AMAZING experience! Vannora got me in for a cut and color. She was dead on with what I wanted and did a perfect job.
The atmosphere was very comfortable and the place was easy to find. I highly recommend her to anyone in the area it was definitely worth driving a bit further to see her!

Seriously. The last salon I went to destroyed my hair. It was the absolute worst color experience ever. 7 hours and a funky shade of orange and yellow, I was in tears. And this was from a top dollar, established, DC salon.
V to the rescue. Recommended to me by a fellow running friend, I, with much hesitation, called and told her the entire story of my seven hour disastrous ordeal. She worked me in immediately, as she knew I was desperate. Two hours later, I left with my head held high. No more hiding my hair in ponytails and behind scarves and hats. I have pretty hair! I am so grateful that Vanora was able to help me! The time flew by, too, as she’s loads of fun to chat with.

I stopped in on my lunch break and was able to get a haircut with the owner, Vaner Batista. He is so incredibly nice and a fantastic stylist. I just found my new haircutter!

New to the DC area, I found a good stylist rather quickly — but, then she moved… several unhappy hair stylist experiences later, I had all but given up. I was searching on Unilocal,reading reviews, and checking out pics. Not only did V have 5-​star reviews, but the hair transformation pics on Unilocal were amazing. I emailed her pics of my hair, we emailed back and forth about what look I wanted, and I booked an appt.
Today my transformation began. My grey roots gone. my faded pinkish streaks now vibrant magenta, my not-​supposed-​to-​be ombré hair now all one color! V transformed my hair from «hot mess» to «hotness!» V was amazing — she’s funny, pleasant, professional, and VERY knowledgeable! Don’t hestitate, book an appt today — tell her I sent you ;)

She is INCREDIBLE at what she does!
She does get busy, hence the great work she does and the reputation she has built for herself, so the overlapping of appointments does occur from time to time, but who cares! She starts and ends the appointment with you and gives you a FABULOUS AND OUTSTANDING QUALITY CUT, COLOR, AND STYLE!
Oh and she is VERY VERSATILE!!! Young, Old, Short, Super Long, White, Asian, Black, I have seen her in action with every type of hair imaginable.

I have been a client of Vannora’s for almost ten years and no one but her touches this mane of mine. She is a true professional and perfectionist and is an expert stylist and colorist. I have had my fair share of cuts and colors. From long layers to a bob cut or jet black, blonde to purple, she has perfected each and every style for me. I can always sit back and relax and wait for the great reveal because she will never steer you wrong! I am always complimented on my hair and I have her to thank for that.

Vannora is highly skilled at what she does, and I love that she really listens to what I want. I usually send her pictures before I go in, and she gives me great feedback on whether it’s feasible. It’s also nice that she runs her own studio, which means an apprentice or random stylist isn’t coloring your hair/​giving you a blowout during your visit– you get Vannora’s undivided attention.
I recently asked her to chop off all of my super long hair, and I was very particular about the length and angle of my LOB (long bob)…after all, if I’m going to get rid of my security blanket, I need to have a fabulous new ‘do that suits me and makes me feel confident. Vannora got it 100% on point and I’m loving this new look she’s given me. I also color my hair, and I’m so happy that she’s been able to take me from jet black to ash blonde with NO split ends in between appointments, NO long color processing time. Oh, she’s good.
On top of having serious styling skills, Vannora has a darling and charismatic personality. I look forward to my hair appointments because there is never a dull moment in her studio. Her welcoming & friendly attitude make for a great experience every time, and the affordable, quality services are a huge plus.
