I’d give this place negative stars if I could!!! I’ve had hydrotherapy before and assumed because they were on the certified list this experience would be just as awesome as my last one. When my fiancé and I first walked in I was a bit taken aback, normally when you go to any sort of medical center the staff is professionally dressed;that’s not the case here. I had the older french lady who during the whole session gave a sales pitch about wanting to bill my insurance for twelve sessions. Further more I told her I felt waste coming out of my rear end and at first she said it was just water, a bit later she confirmed it was in fact waste. She proceeded to insert fingers in my rear end to aid in reinserting the tube, she told me to push back on a tube that was much larger then what was used at the other wellness center I visited. The price they charged wasn’t what was quoted over the phone and my fiancé described the facility as resembling a haunted house. The equipment used was extremely outdated. It’s five hours later and my rear end is still hurting. I resent the fact that my fiancé lost his hydrotherapy virginity at this place, all though he did say his hydrotherapy therapist was kind. Please stay away!!!

UNPROFESSIONAL, DIRTY AND RUDE STAFF WITH FRADULENT PRACTICES!
Don’t know how this place manages to stay in business. I set up an appointment for a colonics session because I wanted to compare to see the differences between the systems used (closed vs open) and the price. When I walked in, I saw an outdated/​old salon that was a bit messy and not very «spalike».
The receptionist escorted me upstairs to a room, preparing the room for the colonics. When the colonic hydrotherapist arrived, I realized it was the SAME person who had just finished cutting the person’s hair downstairs! She was a French lady that claims that she had been administering colonics in France and the US for over 45 years. They had a different location in Alexandria, but moved to this location 9 years ago. Again, don’t understand how they have managed to stay in business for so many years!
The hydrotherapist was not very gentle, which is a very important for this type of procedure. She didn’t explain what she was doing, which made it more unsettling and uncomfortable. When I started feeling cold water flowing, I mentioned it to her and for 10 minutes she continued until I finally told her the water was too cold. She realized this and we proceeded to another machine/​room. She started yelling/​blaming her staff in front of me, which I felt was extremely unprofessional. She would continue on and on about how the above wasn’t her fault, and that it was the machines fault and her staff’s fault for not checking the system and making sure it was functioning properly. As I was about to lay down on the bed, I noticed black hair on the sheets. I asked her if the sheets were cleaned, and she said that it was, but would change it out again. She started yelling again and blaming her staff until I asked her to stop and that it was making the experience most uncomfortable. She wouldn’t stop talking, and made the entire experience stressful and not very relaxing. She also tried to tell me that her HUSBAND could fill out insurance papers to have the health insurance reimuburse me for this colonics session, which in my opinion is FRAUD. No insurance company will allow you to be reimbursed for this type of procedure, except those that are administered in a hospital.
I felt like leaving at that time (I wished I had), but we had already began.
THESE PEOPLE DON’T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND CLEARLY HAVE UNSANITARY, DIRTY PRACTICES – BEWARE!
