This is my favorite place to get gel manicures! Christina is my favorite lady and always makes my fingers look beautiful! The gel easily lasts 3 to 4 weeks before chipping!!!

Talk about a complete and total botch nail job… Not only did they make a disaster out of my nails they were so damn rude. Vietnamese owned and operated and probably the worst place I’ve ever been too… Not to mention one of the rudest and not just because of the language barrier, completely unprofessional!!! Please close your establishment and try another profession!!! Waste of money!

Horrible!!! Don’t waste your time or money, paid for me and my daughter to get our nails polished, wanted gel but the nail tech insisted on regular polish… the polish didn’t even last 8 hours before chipping, called to ask if we could get re polished because we were going to an event, owner was so rude and didn’t want to take of it! There are many other nail salons in Alb to waste your money here! Obviously the clients don’t mean much!

I got a pedi and a gel mani here yesterday evening and I am SO happy with how my nails look. I have had a difficult time with places not doing french tip very well, but the lady at Mandy V’s last night did an outstanding job. I will definitely be coming back here.

Best gel manicure I’ve ever had! I hardly ever get my nails done because I always find myself dissatisfied. That was not the case when I visited Mandy V’s. Tram did an amazing job! My cuticles are usually out of control, and Tram tamed them without drawing blood! I’ve left many a nail salon with cuts and sore nail beds and never returned. I will be coming back to Mandy V’s. My mom also got a beautiful set of Christmas acrylics by another woman there, but didn’t get her name. Love this place!

Came in to get shellac removed that I got done at another salon(which was terrible). They were fast to get me in, friendly, and did an AMAZING job. I’m very picky about how my shellac is done, and they did great work. I’m new in town and am so glad I found a salon that is affordable AND does a great manicure.

They are quick and do a good job. My pedicure lasts awhile and the polish doesn’t chip quickly.

This place is really great. Longest massage ever! I love how many OPI colors they have. The prices are pretty reasonable too!

I had been a faithful customer of Mandy Vs since it opened over 5 yrs ago. The staff was courteous, the services were excellent, and everything was clean. Recently, it has been sold and is under new management. Due to its very convenient location, my friend and I decided to try it and see if was still exceeding our expectations. Unfortunately, the new staff is not as friendly and the hygienic practices have declined. Im sad to say, I will no longer be a customer.

First time here! Had a good experience. They were busy but didn’t take long to seat me. After she got started she was very very gentle with my hands, i had several cuts and my nails were bruised. I expected to be in a lot of pain but that wasn’t the case at all. Price was reasonable and she did a great job overall. I took off a star because she didn’t listen to how I wanted my nails done and did her own design instead.

I was looking for a place close to my home, and this place fit the bill. After reading some positive reviews, I decided to give it a shot. I am happy to say that this place exceeded my expectations. The establishment is clean, trendy, and my technician(Ling) was meticulous, kind, and took great care of me. I had the gel French mani/pedi combo, as well as my eyebrows and lips done. I’m very happy with the quality I received for the money I paid. I will definitely be returning! A+ service! To avoid waiting, make an appointment ahead of time. Also, if you ask for a specific technician, that person will be the one offering their services exclusively to you. Something to keep in mind!

I have been to this salon on a few occasions. The staff is very friendly. Still on separate occasions I have been left at the manicure or pedicure station alone while they wait on other clients. Yes, my service was stopped, so they could attend to others. The last time I was there for a pedicure I was disappointed again. My big toe was left with a huge cottony mess in the polish, it was a gel polish pedicure. I could have had them fix it, but it was such an obvious mistake I was surprised they didn’t fix it themselves. This was one of the times I was left waiting with my feet in the foot bath for someone to come and finish my pedicure. The pedicure was bad, my toe nails are various lengths and shapes. The cottony mess is a reminder that I will never go back to this nail salon. And the last time, I wanted GOLD glitter gel polish, I left with silver. They were pretty, but not what I asked for. Save your time and money and go to a salon that respects themselves and customers enough to pay attention to details.

Very happy! Got a mani/pedi. Loved the massage. Really appreciated the attention to detail when it came to the shaping and painting of my nails. I was a walk-in and I didn’t have to wait, but I went on a weekday at an off time. Also, I thought it was inexpensive($ 30 for a mani/pedi), but I’m from out of town, so maybe that’s because I’m unaccustomed to Albuquerque’s prices. Overall, I would definitely recommend!

Not impressed with their service. I’ve been twice, once for a acrylic overlay and then a fill. They had no idea what I was saying. My nails were perfectly shaped and now they look awful. They also have very old nail polishes and a drying table that barely works. I’m not going back. It’s too bad because they are close to my house.

I still go to Mandy V for my eyebrow tame every month but I’m deducting a star for a few reasons. The name is the same but the owners have changed. Amanda the previous owner still works there but only part time now. Since my last review I’ve had a few bad experiences, not so much with the service but with the scheduling. Today I called to make an appointment with Amanda for 5:30, when I arrived I was told that she wasn’t there today. I drove 20 minutes only to be told it was a waste of time? Not cool. A courtesy phone call would have been nice. It’s not the first time it’s happened either. I just hope it’s the last. I don’t want anyone besides Amanda doing my eyebrows.

I just came here after driving by and overhearing a coworker mention this place. I have to say I was pretty impressed by how quickly I got in. This place is very clean and relaxing. The staff was also very polite and professional. I got a mani/pedi with gel and it took exactly an hour, which I thought was very good because I’ve definitely waited longer in other salons in Albuquerque. I will most definitely return here and recommend it personally to my friends.

I came here today for a much needed pedicure. The décor is cute and everything seems clean. They have two different pedicures. The regular which is 19.99 and Deluxe which is 26.99(kinda weird). I chose to pamper myself so I went with the deluxe. Overall it was good and the tech was really nice. I took away one star because they charge tax which is the first time I’ve encountered this. Also, she seemed quite rushed because 5 people decided to walk in right after me. I wasn’t too bothered by it cause I guess it wasn’t her fault. Next time, I’m going to come during an off hour(before or after lunch). They seem like they have a good variety of services. I will come back in a week to have my fill done and post an update!

Clean salon, relaxing atmosphere, excellent service and conversation. I’m from out of state, but stopped by – based on positive Unilocal reviews – while killing some time before a flight. No wait for a walk-in on an early weekday afternoon, though I’m not sure if that is typical. Gel manicure was only $ 22 and turned out as well as $ 40 manicures I’ve gotten in Houston. It’s too bad I can’t take this place home with me!

My favorite nail place! When we first bought our house a few years, I decided to try the place that is almost within walking distance for a manicure, and then decide if I would want to switch permanently where I get my waxing done. I am so glad I did! Everyone who works there is great, and the wait is never very long. The prices are reasonable and I have never had a bad pedicure or eyebrow wax.

I wish I could find a Mandy V’s in the Austin area. The salon is super clean and well decorated, the staff is very friendly and, most importantly, the pedicure is inexpensive AND good. I chose the $ 28 «deluxe» pedi(not sure if they actually call it deluxe, but that’s what I called it), which includes a vigorous salt scrub and foot«mask.» They have a decent selection of nail polish colors and carry OPI products(not Oh. PI or EPI or some other knock-off brand). Best of all, my pedicure has already lasted a week without chipping. I highly recommend this nail salon.
