At Krazy Lizard we build the ultimate burrito and taco — we make our tortillas from scratch and pressed to order and finished on the flat top. No two tortillas are alike! The advantage — no broken tortilla, no spills, or «accidents». A nice clean taco.
It doesn’t end with the tortilla– we bake our own hoagies and rolls for our tortas, and sandwiches, we also make our signature salsas in house as well.
Our flour is unbleached and organic, pinto beans from Estancia, NM, black beans and green chile are organic. We use a local south valley farmer for our pork, and our chicken and canola oil contains no gmo. We only use eggs from cage free chickens.

History
Established in 2015.
The Krazy Lizard Taqueria was originally the Jefferson Deli. As the deli we did daily specials focusing on street food. As the street food grew in popularity, we decided to rebrand to the Krazy Lizard Taqueria

Business Owner
Owner Hanif Mohamed has over 30 years of Food and Beverage experience in 4 Star — 4 Diamond properties in the United States and Kenya. Working for such companies such as Intercontinental Hotels, Omni, and Loews Hotels in Miami and Washington DC. Hanif also worked in Kenya at the World Famous Mount Kenya Safari Club, Founded by actor William Holden, for Members and guests, The Norfolk Hotel Kenya’s Oldest Luxury Hotel. Both Properties were managed by Lonrho Hotels and are now a part of the Fairmont Hotel and Resorts.
