Gotcha Covered Upholstery

I have never had a worse time with a product or service.
I purchased a 2008 Mazda Miata with a failing cloth top and went to Gotcha Covered to have it replaced. They gave the cheapest price quotation, and I thought, well, how hard could it be to put a top on a pretty standard convertible?
The first top they put on ripped within eight months. I don’t know if it was too tight, or what, but it ripped on both sides. (It wasn’t cut by a person, either — I watched the holes grow over time.)
After fighting with them and the company that provided the top about whether it was a rip or a purposeful cut made by a person, they finally agreed to put on a second top, at no cost to me, but no without a lot of whining.
The second top they put on, they attached incorrectly, and I had to bring it back twice to get it reattached. They used zip ties to attach it, rather than the hardware that was provided. And it STILL came unattached.
I’ve given up. I’m taking my car to someone else to have the top fixed. It’s infuriating.
Do NOT take your convertible to this company for a new top, or to have them fix something they didn’t put on correctly in the first place.
