All American Moving Services Nm

We have made several moves during our years, and this is the worst we have experienced. We signed a contract through a salesman who represented many things that did not happen. We were moving our belongings to two separate locations, and after a difficult first move with this group we should have changed companies. Our second move was understaffed, went slowly, and involved damage to the home. One of the movers was threatening to quit. There was enough damage to the home, that the realtors documented it with photographs. As a result, we were forced to give part of our escrow money to the new owners so they could repair immediately. We were assured of reimbursement from AAMS, through Mayflower/​United Van Lines. To date, no one has reimbursed us for our losses, and I continually get stalled by the regional manager in Denver, who says he refers it to the insurers. It has been months. To add insult to injury, there were not enough available drivers to «pick up our load» and take it to a small, distant town. I would avoid this group– and Mayflower/​United Van Lines– at any cost.

I move long distances frequently. My experience with All America was the WORST EVER! The miscommunication regarding non-​package/​transportable items was severely lacking. The packing team: Chris (Lead), Chris, Brandon and their supervisor, Tommy were incredibly unprofessional. They incorrectly and I believe purposely mislabeled box contents and towards the end began dumping items in boxes rather than packing them. Yes, I spot checked the boxes. My belongings were crushed and liquids were I believe purposely left open/​loosened to drench my packed items. Incredibly immature! There seemed to be a shortage of boxes… I kept getting flack about the number of boxes that had been used. If the Sales Manager, Michael Olmi, made an error and miscalculated, that isn’t my fault. Be professional and provide good customer service. Don’t pout and mis-​pack items with a bad attitude for revenge. Also, bring your own coolers and trash receptacles. Moving is stressful enough without the staff asking, often NOT asking to use the ice maker/​fridge/​freezer/​trash/​bathroom/​outlets, etc. and not even letting me know when they used the last of the toilet paper. RUDE and disrespectful of my belongings and personal property. From the brief conversations with the 2 Chris’s and Brandon, it appears asking about unpacked/​skipped items is wrong and customers aren’t allowed to express concerns. Sorry, I prefer similar items to be packed together and I don’t want my bed used as a work/​packing station. I tried to be courteous and made requests using ease and thank you, but by the end of the two days of a complete packing disaster/​nightmare, I just wanted nothing more to do with this inept staff. I DO NOT recommend All American. Stay Away!!!

Very pleased overall with the moving experience with AAMS. From Michael Olmi walking through our house and evaluating our needs as well as giving us an extremely fair (much lower than any competitor) estimate and quote to Juan our Driver and the Moving professionals who assisted him load our stuff to the team who unloaded our stuff in Texas we were overall very satisfied with the level of service. We even got money back into our account after the Weight turned out to be less than originally anticipated which was an unexpected but a welcome surprise. Would use again for Moving Services.

This business earns three stars because their managers are quick, clean, courteous, and smart; the managers earn two stars for all of these qualities. They help the Girl Scouts of New Mexico Trails (GSNMT) council by being our «Council Cookie Cupboard» throughout our cookie sale season. Since the All American Moving Services NM, Inc. (AAMSNMI) supports the GSNMT council, the AAMSNMI earns one more star. Good job!

Please AVOID at all costs! These guys have the most professional (or is it slick?) sales stuff. You totally fall for it because you think that they are a reflection of the company. Not!
At 8am on the day they were supposed to pick up my stuff, they called to say couldn’t make it! What? The person who had purchased my home was moving in later that day and I needed to be out! The new owner was going through a divorce (there were attorneys involved in the move) and his schedule couldn’t be changed to accomodate me! After about 40 phone calls, my stuff was picked up so the new owner could move in. What a mess.
I had to change my tickets (costing hundreds of dollars) and camp out at a friend’s for a week! After I arrived in the new city, I found out that the shipment was delayed again (couldn’t they just tell me that before I left?) I had to sleep two nights on the floor of an apartment with no stuff! After the 10 day delivery period, Mayflower offered a free hotel night, but I wasn’t reimbursed till 3 months later. What a nightmare.
If you value your sanity, stay away from places like this.
