A foody breakfast spot for sure. If you have a hankering for some awsome french toast and a sticky bun, then this is your jam. Surprisingly, the new mexican food is also quite good. Flavorful red and green chile goes great with the sweets that will make u scrape the plate for every last bit of icing so much so that you feel you can’t stop, ever. Wow, You know its good when you start writing run on sentences. High marks overall.

Not a bad spot to grab breakfast, first of all the coffee was great! I ordered the Huevos Rancheros, the plate was served to me very quickly. The dish was very visually appealing and it tasted pretty good. I only have 2 complaints, the main cashier didn’t really know how to work the cash register, and my beans were a little dry. Other then that, the place is great and I love the layout and design. I will be back eventually.

The quality of food and service is not there for the price they are asking for in exchange. The coffee is nowhere near what it should be for the price. Get your gourmet coffee, lattes etc., at a coffee house because you’ll be disappointed. The food is mediocre. Desserts? I don’t know, but they look pretty good. I would say go elsewhere. Unless you like paying too much for an average to below average product.

I come here on a regular basis. Great place to get a cup of Joe and study. All their baked goods are great and for breakfast you can’t beat the paseo pile up. Also their coffee is from red rock rosters and is really tasty. Service is always great. Have never really had anything to complain about here.

I have been here several times and I just have a few things to say about it. 1. The chile isn’t real. It’s chile powder and corn starch/flour. Yuck. 2. They don’t melt the cheese on anything because they don’t have a warming oven. 3. The French toast comes out undercooked. 4. The staff behind the counter and the young girls who are runners are rude. 5. The gyro isn’t cooked on a spit like it should be. It is frozen, therefore, it is not authentic gyros it’s bacon. There is only one redeeming quality and that is the very nice lady with blonde hair who runs the food on the weekends. She is a joy.

My husband and I both had the Paseo Pile-Up. I added carne adovado it was amazing. This place is so adorable. I also ordered the Peanut Butter Latte and that was wonderful.

Loose tea, breakfast served all day and today I was blessed with the clam chowder. Yum! I also appreciate the work space with outlets!

The baked goods are fantastic. If you come here, they should be your number-one reason to do so. Otherwise, the food is ho-hum. Is the maple syrup fake? Other than the baked goods, everything from potatoes to tortillas to orange juice in a gallon plastic jug have a Sysco feel to them. Restaurants can create delicious meals from Sysco products, but Sysco also offers pre-made dishes, which only need to be microwaved. I don’t know if this is what is going on here, but it sure looks and tastes like it. The meals are basic, nothing new, different, or creative. That’s fine. Are the green chiles fresh? The lettuce and chopped tomatoes with the quesadilla looks like they came from a large Sysco bag mix. At least the fruit is 100 percent fresh. Sysco does offer fresh fruit. They do offer Red Roasters Coffee. It’s a fun coffee, not the best in the area, but at least it’s local. But then it’s served in plastic coffee mugs. The mugs are a great size, and offer a comfy feel, but then you pick one up and realize it’s plastic. Oh, well. When this restaurant first opened, you could order the pancakes or waffles with fruit, and there was so little fruit on the plate, it was more like a garnish. The quantity has gotten better, but still close to the meager side. If a restaurant is going to offer pancakes with fruit, than the fruit needs to be a healthy serving. Look to the competition to see how much they offer. You can see the owner wants to do well, but the quality of food is holding her back. Her budget appears tight, and is at least screaming at this patron. She offers cooking classes, so that’s why I am giving the restaurant a more difficult time. A restaurant which offers cooking classes really needs to go with the best ingredients. Real maple syrup and the freshest of ingredients. The light is on motion control in bathroom. Beware it’ll put you in the dark. The timing needs to be lengthened to five minutes, at minimum. The furniture is fun. Pottery Barn ultra polished. The space is huge, and I’m guessing the rent is quite a bit. It’s a welcoming space. I just wish the food beyond the baked goods lived up to that space, because those baked goods are wonderful. They are the jewel on this somewhat tarnished crown, which just needs some tweaking to shine brightly.

This is a nice place in a nice area of town. I love the cinnamon pumpkin soup! I got a tasty sandwich. There were so many choices, it took me a while to decide on a simple bacon cheese kind. Their coffee flavors are awesome. They close around 2 on Sundays. A good option to go to after church.

Horrible customer service. First time and terrible experience. 1. Cashier couldn’t do math and gave wrong change. Another cashier tried to fix and both girls gave attitude. I asked to void the transaction and start all over. They said no. The first girl looked unhappy as if she hated her job and she didn’t care. 2. Girl that handled money started serving the food without any gloves. GROSS!!! I told her to wear gloves and asked if this was the protocol. I asked for a manager and both did not care. One rudely pointed out the OWNER of the café and continued with her work. Did I mention the eye rolling? I think they had eye boogers or something cuz they kept rolling their eyes at me. 3. Spoke to owner who seemed nice but only apologized and end of story. 4. Food arrived with no utensils or napkins. I guess they want us to eat like dogs since they treat their customers like dogs. No problem… I went up to another cashier and asked for forks and he was nice enough to add napkins! 5. Food… meh. Nothing spectacular. I don’t understand why ppl like the rude workers and mediocre menu. I probably will not return. Another bad dining facility that is overrated! Customer service and food must be priority.

Another order at the counter in advance place, what’s up with this trend? Is it an Albuquerque thing, or a nationwide trend that I was previously just oblivious to? Regardless, I don’t like it! However, this particular instance we were safe as the food and service were both spot on. We haphazardly came upon this place and it caught our eye, and thought we’d stop on in. They’re apparently only open for breakfast & lunch, so don’t plan any late afternoon/evening excursions, but it’s well worth a Sunday brunch trip. Since it was post Sunday morning Church for us, we were in more of a lunch mood. However, their breakfast looked VERY good! I opted for the Reuben and it was a VERY good choice. It could have been piled a little higher with meet, but it was still really good. Nice and juicy, a good sauce and on some awesome marble rye. My side choice was sweet potato fries, and they were really good as well… I think… my daughter ate most of them. Speaking of my daughter, she had the tacos from the kid menu, and they were OK, but nothing super special. My wife opted for the soup/sandwich combo, with a butternut squash soup choice and a chicken salad sandwich. Naturally we all had to ladle in for a taste of her soup and we liked it tremendously. Our conclusion? We’ll be back, and probably frequently. Especially for some of those awesome looking pecan sticky buns!

Great place for breakfast/brunch/lunch. My favorite menu item is the carne adovada omelet. Their Red Chile always has good flavor, a little bit of spice, but not too much. I love the breakfast potatoes that come with it, they have a light batter that is perfectly seasoned for my taste. Then we get to dessert. This place has amazing pies and cakes. My favorite thing to have after my omelet is a pecan sticky bun. They taste just like the ones my grandmother used to make, which is a very good thing.

Like their décor, some dishes are good and some are mediocre, such as big big burritos. Cappuccino was cold so needed to be reheated.

I love this place. The food is amazing and the staff is very nice. I would have gave it 5 stars if it wasn’t so hard to get around the place. Does all this retail bring you that much money? With the amount of people that like to eat here you really could use some more tables and less retail clutter. While I was eating here today I had to get up from my table and completely move it so an elderly man with a walker could make his way to the door. I didn’t mind stopping my meal for him to pass but if there wasn’t all this retail by the door he could have passed with less stress.

Quint little café in the heights. Great place for breakfast and lunch. Decent menu and food. Service is usually very good. Large patio for dining. They have sweet potato fries that are cooked just right. Love the cheesecake with the dark top. It’s almost like an angel cake but it is cheesecake. I bought a piece for my husband. I was going to taste it and ended up eating the whole thing. The cinnamon buns are pretty good too. It’s nice to have a place like Cinnamon in the heights. I’m a regular.

I really enjoy this place! They have a great menu, for both breakfast and lunch. Everything is delicious, and homemade. The French Toast is really tasty, and we always get a pecan sticky bun to take home for later.

ALERT! As soon as you walk in you will be greeted by heavenly scents and a pastry variety that will make you drool. Seriously people, could their pastry selection be any more beautiful! I have been here for breakfast and to run in for some coffee. Their coffee is delicious and they have great breakfast options. I ordered the B & E classic breakfast which is two eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast. Their plates aren’t heavy, but they aren’t super light either — they’re just right. Also, Cinnamon offers cooking classes! I am pretty sure they even offer some sort of art event as well. The atmosphere is great– I love their menu display and theme they have going on.

Skip Flying Star and come here instead! Great portions, delicious food, and very affordable! My breakfast favorite so far is the Paseo Pile Up. Lots of eggs, hash browns, sausage and bacon. I have yet to try their desserts or lunch menu, but they look delicious. The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxing. Lots of baked goodies packaged and ready to go home with you.
