All About Blinds And Shutters, LLC. was started much like any other small business, out of a garage. Mason Thompson, owner has a love of wood working and stumbled upon interior shutters, after being in the shutter business for a few years, Mason saw the need to introduce other window coverings into the business, and in turn found that interior design and window treatments go hand in hand, which is the foundation for All About Blinds and Shutters.

If I could give this company less than one star I would. The owner is not ethical at all. I purchased shutters through a designer who purchased them through All about Blinds. After waiting for over 8 months for them, the shutters arrived defective and did not open and close properly. The owner of the manufacturing company (from China) even came to my house and verified they were defective. Everyone agreed and promised us a refund. To make a long story short, Robin the owner of All about Blinds refused to refund our money. She said she «didn’t have it and wasn’t responsible». Since our agreement was with the designer, Robin argued that we needed to have our designer refund us, not All about Blinds. Our designer refused to give us a refund because she said that she had not been paid from All about Blinds.
We finally had to hire an attorney in order to get our money back. It was not an experience I would want anyone else to go through.
Bottom line, stay away from All about Blinds! It was the worst customer service and worst experience I have ever had with a company here in Albuquerque. From what Robin (the owner) told us during the ordeal, she was broke and going out of business. Now I see she has reopened in another location, which why I am writing this review. I want to warn others that there are many other and much better options for purchasing window coverings.
Eventually we did replace our shutters. Bill at Window Fashions was excellent, and now my shutters are beautiful. Bill has also been to my house many times to follow up and make sure that everything is as it should be. It’s been 4 years now and I am still thrilled with the shutters I got from Window Fashions. All About Blinds was a huge mistake. I should have gone with Bill and Window Fashions from the very beginning.
