I have been craving some NY Pizza & always weary of being disappointed when eating in unfamiliar territory. Let me be clear, I was not disappointed !! I was Thoroughly impressed !! As soon as I walked in, I knew it was going to be good. The Aroma of fresh baked Pizza in the air, Loaves of Italian bread, homemade rolls, & a great deli on top of it. This place is GREAT& the people running it obviously Love what they are doing, & it shines through in the product they are serving !! Great Job !!! This is take out only, no dining room. Just a take out pizza /sub shop, with bonus baked goods, Italian cooking staples, & Deli.

One of the best hots subs I ever had! I ordered the Buffalo Chicken sub. They asked if I wanted lettuce, tomatoes, and onions and I said Yes! He asked if I wanted cheese and I said Pepper jack cheese. I asked him to make it extra hot so he added extra buffalo sauce and tossed in a few jalapenos. The sandwich was a decent size so I was able to save half for dinner. Will definitely be returning here again! Btw, no credit or debit cards; cash only!

Ordered a pizza for dinner tonight… Plain cheese… Awesome NY style pizza. Super crispy crust, lots of bubbles(which I love), great cheese to sauce ratio. It was a bit confusing though since there’s a pizza place right next door(DC pizza) and where I ordered from seemed more like a deli. The lady in DC pizza said their pizza is so good she travels from Schenectady once a week. I guess I’ll have to try theirs soon too!

Being a state worker at W A Harriman Campus I’ve been stopping at Luigis since my buddy introduced it to me in 2010. Now 5 years later and I’m still getting their subs for lunch(just got an Italian mix today). THE best subs around.

I’ve been here a handful of times — I kind of go in waves with this place. We’ll grab food from here 3−4x in 2 weeks, and then not visit for a while. Either way, I’ve had a generally positive experience here. I usually go at odd times so I’ve never dealt with a long wait. They use great cold cuts and their subs are large and very filling. Their side salads are very good as well. I kind of wish there was more variety — I see the dinners and other items on the menu, but I’m always hesitant to order because it really seems like mainly a deli rather than a hot food place. Note — they don’t accept credit cards. There’s an ATM there but the fee seemed particularly high. Tip — grab a soda at the Mobil station across the street and get cash back!

This deli rules… There are two Fiorrllos almost right next to each other… Both I guess are good but walking into Fiorellos and Liugi next to DC Pizza is a legit Italian import deli… We ordered a 4 foot party sub for our annual Royal Rumble party… This sub was good… Just enough meat and Bread… From now on I will go here often…

Excellent subs and food. All Boars head and imported items from Italy. Roast beef, meatball and Italian subs are super. Enjoy!

When I moved up to Albany for school one of the first things I found was this deli. Whether I’m getting a sub or a slice the food is always plentiful and always fresh. The people working behind the counter are always very friendly and happy for my business. This place is a must for anyone!

To clear up any confusion this review is for Luigi’s Deli located next door to DC pizza and a few doors down from the other Fiorello. This place is a small Italian deli. It is staffed by Italian speaking Italians who in short know what they are doing with food. Excellent subs. — This is really where this place shines. Simply some of the best in the Capital district and on par with Via Fresca near Crossgates and Cardonna’s on Delaware Ave. Service is friendly and pricing is cheaper than the aforementioned competitors. It you go around lunch they have a garlic tomato pizza by the slice that is great. Only downside is that on occasion wait times can be long because everyone is in line for their delicious sandwiches. Also there is nowhere to eat other than the outdoor patio it shares with DC. If seating area trumps food quality in your book, then stop reading this review and go directly to Dibella’s across the street. They specialize in adequate seating. Bottom line: Excellent Italian Deli for takeout

I am so grateful to live so close to Fiorello’s. As the other reviewer mentioned — this is for the Importing Co. — it’s like a tiny grocery store with a deli counter. This family and the folks who work here are so incredibly friendly and sweet. The subs are, by far, the best of any place in the Capital Region. Why bother going to the chains across the street when this gem is calling your name? While their Italian Special sub and their hot subs are to die for, I always go back to a regular old turkey sub. I’m not usually even a huge fan of turkey, but there is something about this sammy that is so perfect. The rolls are a combination of sturdy and fluffy — a little bit of crisp on the outside, a little floof on the inside a terrific flavor to boot. Their hot Italian dishes are great too. The store has lots of great products like pizzelles, olive oil and Nutella, I usually end up with a few extra goodies whenever I go there.
