I love Bruegger’s Salads. They are usually fresh, made to order, large and come loaded with fresh toppings all for under $ 8. This was my first visit to this location and I won’t be back. They served me rotten food without even batting an eye. I doubt that anyone working there would eat the crap they served me yet they felt it was fine to sell. Picture attached and you be the judge.

Bruegger’s does a lot of things right. Consistency is one of them. Every time I am ‘upstate’ New York and see a Bruegger’s I know my bagel will be fresh, and the service will be good. I love their tomato bagels and the veggie cream cheese is delicious. They are a little pricey considering the size of the bagels, but I still eat here!

I love Brueggers bagels, but this store is filthy. The tables are dirty, the floors are littered with paper napkins, straw paper and food particulate. The cocoa machine looks like a public restroom, after taco Tuesday, in a laxative factory. The door left open by the registers betrays even more dirtiness in the back, from dirty floors to liquids spilled on the walls and left to dry. I’m not upset about the wrong cream cheese being put on my bagel, mistakes happen, but the lack of cleanliness looks so bad. I really think the place needs to be overhauled, a deep cleaning won’t suffice.

Had a fast almost working lunch here today. The pastrami Cobb salad was a little weird, with cold cut up chunks of an egg omelet on top of a Munster cheese and pastrami salad. Weird in that I wouldn’t have recognized this as a Cobb salad. The soup looked good and hearty, and everyone else(vegetarians) had bagel sandwiches with various combinations of cheeses and veggies. Not extraordinary but better than your average bagel shop.

I come here like once a week I guess. Probably it is the closest place to my apartment. 9 of 10 times I had their big bowl of salad. The funny thing is many times that I order my salad, the staff often ask me «on what?», kind of automatic if you don’t state your bagel choice. And we laugh. Their bagels are good, absolutely. But if you have never try their salad, try it.

I went into this bagel location for a quick sandwich. Something that should have taken less than 5 minutes ended up being 20 minutes. The employees all gathered together in one location instead of being stationed at their respective spots at the counter. One should have been at the ordering line, the other at the cashier and the others making orders. I ordered a Simple turkey sandwich. For the next 20 minutes I watched a employee Look back and forth at the MENU board as to what went into the sandwich! He obviously had NOIDEA Of what to do! If he was being trained, the trainer should have been next to him. This was not the case! Not only were they disorganized, I was DISGUSTED by the cashier’s APRON she had on. It was FILTHY! It looked like I was at a butcher shop instead of a bagel shop! I took the sandwich and promptly threw it out after leaving there and being disgusted. $ 8 down the drain, given to an ALBANY business and nothing to eat simply since I didn’t want to aggravate myself complaining to them and I didn’t have the time to waste. After being a teacher teaching food preparation for years please take my advice. There should be a posting of ingredients up in front of the employees stating what goes into each item you are selling and LABELTHEM! Please be ORGANIZED and don’t waste the customer’s time and money! Your employees are REPRESENTATIVE of YOURBUSINESS, PLEASEREMEMBERTHAT.

This place makes the worst egg sandwich you could ever imagine. They pop open a stainless steel box that houses hockey pucked shaped yellow things that should be eggs.

I can fully understand why there was no line at 7:45 in the morning. The eggs on a bagel is without a doubt the worst of the worst.

I do not and will not ever understand the hype behind bruggers bagels. I think their bacon is gross, egg patty is gross and the prices are outrageous. I got a bacon egg and cheese and an orange juice and paid 8 dollars for it which is absurd to me. I’m sure the bagels are fine on their own, nothing special but if I’m paying 8 dollars for a bacon, egg and cheese I want a fresh cracked egg and some real crisp bacon not microwaved! I give them two stars because they have a fountain machine and I love fountain diet coke and the place is cute. I won’t return here for breakfast any time soon.

A decent bagel café,(excuse me, bakery.) This place specifies that they are indeed a bakery, not a bagel store, but honestly I couldn’t tell. Nothing seems that fresh. The service was very into their job, active and social. The menu is large, with many interesting options. I like the layout, but the décor is a bit old. I had ordered bacon and egg on a bagel. This was a bit disappointing because it was served on a small bagel with precooked egg and bacon, sitting in large containers. Plus, they ran out of plain bagels!!! The pricing was reasonable. The benedict bagel was actually pretty good. But, for a bagel place, this place was a little disappointing.

The location isn’t exactly the easiest to get to from Wolf Road, but once inside there’s not much separating you from the best bagels I’ve ever eaten.(Although I can’t say that’s particular to this location, just Bruegger’s in general.) If you don’t believe me, go live in the Midwest for a couple years and tell me you don’t crave some real bagels.

This is the best brueggars location in colonie! The food is always fresh and the customer service is very good. Unlike many food retail places like this the staff is mostly familiar and doesn’t turn over often. Always a good time here and Good food.

This place has gone downhill. They never seem to have everything bagels in the bin when I come. Last week they sold me 4 stale bagels at 8:00 in the morning. I didn’t notice it until I was at my office. I didn’t have the time to go back.

Although I live in Hudson Florida, Albany NY is my home town and one of the things I miss most is Bruegger’s. I am visiting family for Thanksgiving and had breakfast at Brueger’s on Wolf Road in Colonie today and it was as good as always. I had the Sausage egg and cheese on an asiago softwich. They were very busy today and had quite a line when I got there but they moved everyone through quickly. I’m sure I’ll be checking in at a Bruegger’s again before I had back South. I need to come back and have some of their yummy soup.

I dig this particular Bruegger’s location — they know what I want when I walk up to order, and are ready to punch my lunch sandwich card and move me on my way. I like the quick and friendly service, and I notice that there are a ton of regulars popping in each and every time I go. I usually opt for the turkey w/L, T, and Mayo — occasionally I’ll add the provolone — on asiago parmasean softwich bread, because it’s totally filling and very flavorful for a deli sandwich. Sometimes, if you get the right cashier, she/he will give you a couple of extra punches on the lunch sandwich card and some extra coupons ;)

I love the bagels at Bruegger’s! I’ve been stopping at Bruegger’s for the fresh bagels and cream cheese for many years. The good selection of fresh bagels are warm, crusty on the outside and chewy inside, sooo good! They got their start in Troy, NY many moons ago and have expanded nationwide. They have delicious bagel sandwiches, soups, salads, and hot and cold beverages. I can remember back for a few years in the 1990s when Bruegger’s gave away free bagels for one day(limit one free bagel per visit). It was a big deal for my friends and I and we flocked here before, during, and after school, with some getting back in line or hitting other area locations. My all time favorite is the Cinnamon Raisin bagel with honey walnut cream cheese. However, the coffee here is okay, def not my first choice with plenty of other java options along Wolf Road.
