I’ve been coming here for about a year now and honestly, it is a lot easier than I expected. Because I work, I take most of my classes online with maybe only one or two class(usually a hard class) on campus each semester. The instructors here are good for the most part when it comes to teaching. The courses are not all that challenging. It’s not hard to get a B or even an A if you just simply pay attention and take good notes. Be careful not to miss too many days though because many of them will drop you from the class. However, they will excuse you if you simply email them at least a day or two in advance. The campus itself is nice and easy to get around. It’s not too big but not small either; just right in other words. Plenty of benches and chairs throughout to sit down and chill. The library, although a tad bit small, is resourceful. The cafeteria has some good food on most days but a lot of the students use it to lounge around and play card games and such. Plenty of student parking but it can be packed at the beginning of the semester but usually dwindles a bit after about the first three or four weeks. Make sure you have a valid Student Parking permit because they do issue out tickets. I’ve seen it happen. Books prices, like most colleges, are pretty high. I suggest renting a book or buying a used one from someone else if at all possible. The bookstore is decent and usually all of their supplies are in stock. I have approximately one year left before I get this Associate’s and move on to a four year school. If you do decide to enroll, try to learn as much as you can and make it one of the best experiences that you can. Most of the teachers actually care about their students’ success and will do everything they can to help you.
