I visited Pars Produce couple of months ago, I went in with hesitation because of the reviews. However I came out with an amazing experience and 9 fruit trees! The gentleman who owns this business was very helpful, gave me instructions on how to plant them and even offered to send his Gardner to plant them for me. I noticed that this is a one man operation(mainly the owner who is in his 80′, plus the gardener) and since they had 2 other clients waiting(one waited a while) it took them a while to load up my trees. The experience I received was completely different than some of the reviews that I had read! His passion and knowledge was impressive! I would go back to buy more!

I visited pars produce in summer and was interested in several Persian fruit trees. I did purchase the pomegranate Saveh, Persian sour cherry, and White Mulberry. They are extremely healthy and was very happy. The elderly gentlemen was extremely helpful as well .Its a good source of middle eastern fruit tree strain specially Persian.

I fully agree with Khalil. Pars Produce is very dishonest and basically buys regular fruit trees from American growers, and tags them with fancy Persian fruit tree names and sells those trees at a huge markup. The owner plays on the nostalgia of the Persian Americans who wants a piece of their homeland. Case in point, a couple of years ago, while I was still drinking the Kool-Aid, I was at the location(which is basically the owners house in Alamo) and witnessed a delivery of trees. Most had tags from Dave Wilson Nursery — a very large wholesale nursery in Southern California. I waited around a bit and noticed that the workers started to remove those tags and replace them with Pars Produce tags showing Persian fruit tree names. In my opinion the business is a complete scam, as evident by their F BBB score. They take regular American fruit trees, and tag them with some fancy Persian fruit tree name — almost always followed by the name of city/town in Iran to make it look authentic. I had the same experience as Khalil where I bought Googeh Sabz(a tart, round, unique plumb from Iran), but the tree started producing regular American plumbs. The same is true of pretty much all their fruit trees. Trust me I made the mistake of buying more than 10 trees from them in the past few years, and none of them are producing what the label shows. Stay away from this place — there are other options.

I have bought 7 supposedly Persian fruit trees form this seller. Non of them ended up to be what he tagged and claimed. He apprently buys young plants/trees from regular American nurseries, and then changes the tags and sells them in the name of Persian trees. His Sib-Golab, Albaloo, Gojeh-Sabz, Anar trees are ended up giving regular american fruits! WHat he sold as Gojeh-Sabz was the biggest joke. It gave Regular Plums. I suggest not to be fulled by the seller. He feed on the Persian people’s hunger to have Iranian fruits. His business is not honest in my opinion. Stay away.
