Tuttimelon

Okay, so I was a fan of their bubble tea drinks about around 2014 to half of the year of 2015. Why? I notice they changed their flavors. They somehow use the same ingredients in each drink. They USED to taste like authentic bubble tea. Now they make these super sweet (like too sweet) bubble tea drinks. They taste awful. I get they are cheaper but if you want authentic bubble tea go to Tapioca Express and try their calamari. Not trying to advertise this is just my opinion so yea

They have the best tasting frozen yogurt around. The original tart comes out slightly creamy with just the amount of and iciness. However, I am not a big fan of their drinks. Their drinks have gone up in price since they first opened. Next, the drinks are not consistent with their sugar levels. Lastly, I stopped coming here because the last few times my drink came out way too sugary. I don’t want diabetes so I’m going to stop buying their milk teas.

Good yogurt but this place generates so much waste with all the big plastic cups! The trash was overflowing yesterday with them. I wish they would be more progressive and think outside the box and purchase compostable cups. It would make a huge statement and show other businesses that we need to start taking action against all the plastic that ends up in our landfills. Also, I asked the lady what kind of yogurt was in their smoothies and she said she wasn’t allowed to tell me. Confusing to say the least.

It was a nice day in Alameda when I went to get boba with my family. We were fortunate that there was no line which was good because my hunger could not be suppressed. I already knew what I wanted but I took my time and sampled the ice cream LIKE A BOSS! Like I said my hunger could not be suppressed. The boba came soon after and it didn’t disappoint, unfortunately what did disappoint me was that this business only had one co-​ed toilet for the people. As a result There was quite a line for the bathroom. But the bathroom became a stink pot when this lady walked out. I went into the bathroom and it smelled like it has seen days of people constantly releasing the demons without a window. This Bathroom didn’t even have a Urinal which is an insult to mens bladders everywhere, without a Urinal, men are forced to share the Throne with Women and are forced to put the seat down in an effort to dilute mens integrity everywhere. I reluctantly left the place soon after and recommend that this business is not bathroom friendly to the people. I protest the store by buying the cheapest drink and staying there all day with my laptop.

I really like this place for boba! It’s actually currently my favorite as everything stands. Lots of choices and it tastes like a boba should. Some other places just can’t get the measurements quite right. –1* for the customer service. Sometimes it’s disorganized and the cashiers can be uncomfortable.

In my tastebud’s opinion, it’s hard to find a delectable butter pecan. However, I have found THE best butter pecan gelato, here at Tuttimelon. So yum!

Yogurt was good. Help does not know their jobs. We asked for simple answer to products. Calories etc. «we don’t know» lol. Bathrooms dirty and graffiti. Can’t recommend. What else don’t they care about???

Good yogurt. But will charge 50 cents for using debit/​credit under $ 5.

This was my first experience with Boba, but it wasn’t all bad. There are an overwhelming amount of choices, so it was hard to make a choice when I didn’t know what to try. I ended up getting a mango yogurt drink with mango and rainbow jelly. It was a good first experience, so I guess I would say I would try it again. You kind of have to get used to chewing your drink. They also have deep-​fried snacks, but I didn’t try anything as this was a dessert trip for me. We had just eaten. Gelato looked really unappetizing and the choices for froyo were miserable.

I like the drinks here, and you can customize them with the boba buffet (noice!), but haven’t tried the food.
If you are not an asian person and you go here you will be the only person that is not asian, most likely.

Good milk tea it’s not as sweet as other places which is great for me. The popcorn chicken is awesome. Great hangout place and the workers are so nice. It was my first time there so she was very helpful plus u get it choose what kind of jelly, boba, etc in yur drink. They also have Gelato too so it’s one stop shop.

Good milk teas. The regular milk teas are till sweet for my liking so I ask to make them ½ the sweetness. The workers are pleasant and are happy to provide you with a sample if you aren’t sure what to expect.
I like that you choose your own boba and jellies and get to add as much as you want yourself before handing over the cup to be filled.
My only suggestion would be to turn down the music, its a bit loud for conversation.

Drove across town to make it here by 11pm and they closed at 10:50. Wouldn’t let me in… Kind of wack.

Keep it mind that this place is Tuttimelon and Teaway, so it’s convenient if some people want boba and others want gelato!

Tuttimelon locations for froyo, but now they also have gelato! And let me tell you, I was very impressed!
The service was great. The girl who helped me plenty of samples and didn’t ever seem to be annoyed when I asked to try another.
After standing there for the longest time, being indecisive, not knowing what to get, I finally decided to get a small strawberry cheesecake in a cup.
It was about ~4 including tax and it was freaking delicious. Perfect to wind down with from a hot day.
My best friend got milk tea and popcorn chicken from TeaWay. It was weird to eat gelato and chicken but they are both two of my favorite snacks!

Only 4 yogurt flavors? And all the toppings do not appear to be fresh. The gelato was ok. My biggest complaint would be the cleanliness of the place. The walls and floors are disgusting!

This place doubles as Teaway, where you can have tea your way by way of serving up your own boba or jellies. However I was feeling more of a frozen treat and went with the Tuttimelon side, being entranced by the vivid color of their blackberry Cabernet Sauvignon sorbet. Luckily after sampling it tasted as good as it looked! Refreshing.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!
I went to Tuttimelon to obtain some frozen yogurt tonite and was horrified by the extremely poor customer service I had received from the workers at Tuttimelon.
For starters, I have been to this establishment quite a few times, and quite a few times in the last two weeks. Not once was I ever offered a frequent buyer card even though everyone in the establishment had one and was getting stamps. In addition to that, I inquired about the password to the wi-​fi, and even though one of the selling points is that it has wi-​fi, I was refused the password and told to log on to Starbucks’ wi-​fi.
Please do not waste your time at this establishment. If you want bubble teas, gelato or frozen yogurt, there are a million of them on the island. Go elsewhere.

I used to love this place since I am avid fan of frozen yogurt. Hailing from attending college in Southern California, I was always surrounded by a plethora of frozen yogurt; my favorite being Yogurtland. Tuttimelon was always a close second since the consistency of their yogurt was comparable to Yogurtland: not too icy, and not too watery tasting.
Despite the price increases of the products, I have been a loyal customer throughout recent years. Whenever I get a craving for frozen yogurt, I satiate it at Tuttimelon. And let me say that it is quite often. Unfortunately, the customer service there does not make me feel like a valued customer.
I have many stamp cards, because I have visited here so often. I sometimes forget my stamp card, and so I request new ones; hence, I have a variety of stamps spread across multiple cards. I also bring my friends here.
One day, I bring my cards to claim a free yogurt (you get a free small when you purchase 8). Being that I have come here so many times, I have passed the threshold for a free yogurt long ago.
I show my cards to the cashier and request my free yogurt politely. She refuses, stating that «only a maximum of 2 cards can be combined at one time».
I look around. There are no signs whatsoever saying this, and nor does the back of the card prohibit combining cards. Again, these were all stamps I had earned through previous purchases — I did not steal these cards, I earnestly purchased them myself!
I ask her, «are you serious?». She remains impassive. I reluctantly order a yogurt (since I’m there already), and request she combines two of my cards. She does so, and at an attempt to be encouraging, says «you have 7 cards now! You can get one next time!»
Yes. Like that made me feel better about your stingy policy that you made up on the spot.

First time coming here for a milk tea. I usually stick with the fro-​yo instead.
My best friend recommended the Milk Green tea, and it was AMAZINGLY delicious.
«self-​serve» toppings were on point. Now I can finally put as much grass jelly, boba, lychee jelly, etc as i want. yup, whatever and however much i like! not too little (usually, by cheap, stingy employees) and not too much neither. All for the same price, too!
This time, my best friend told me to hold back on my greed & only try the grass jelly with my milk green tea because it goes well together. The grass jelly had a very interesting texture to it. Its a bit on the slushy side, but after a few tries, I kinda like it. Its not as thick & firm as what i am used to. Definitely, something I had to acquired to, but it didn’t take long.
And yet, she was definitely right. Grass Jelly + Milk Green Tea = my new fav drink! VIOLA. best friend knows best.

What can you buy for $ 1.50 these days?
My family don’t come to Alameda often, but with a family-​like feel from the city with cool businesses indicates, «We should go to Alameda more!»
We also have finally made it to the Tuttimelon in Alameda. The plain tart special does not apply to this location. But for $.99, the special is for the Mango Tart. My daughter and I never had the Mango tart flavor from Tuttimelon and this is our first time. And we find the tropical frozen treat very tasty with a smooth consistency.
I’m so happy that all I have was $ 1.50. And that $ 1.50 got us a bowl of Tuttimelon fro-​yo ($.99+ tax) Yay!
