I always come here for my pedicures! Everyone is so sweet and definitely not your average nail shop where the ladies bad mouth you. The ambiance is cleaner and more modern than most! Walk-​ins are always welcomed and I’ve never had to wait more than 10 minutes max to be seen.
I just wish they had a better/​more selection of nail polishes to choose from especially when it comes to gel.

Uyen did a great job on my nails. I went to another nail salon for a gel manicure and they did an awful job. Uyen made sure my color and shape were perfect before she finished and gave me a great suggestion on the color for my friends wedding in a week. I love the attention to detail!

I came here to get my brows waxed for $ 8 which is pretty cheap as I usually pay $ 10 instead. The ladies were nice and I would definitely come back!

I have been here a few times over the past 3 years when sandal season rolls around. I stopped in last Friday and got a gel mani/​pedi. I was seated immediately and picked out my colors. I was being cared by two techs and was out in about an hour. Every time I have come, the service has always been great. I am always greeted, asked if my polish is to my liking and have a conversation.
I really have no complaints. Thank you, Sparadise!

After giving this nail salon a second chance I will never go back. The person who gave my pedicure never talked to me the whole time I was there never massaged legs like they normally do, did not put a top coat on. She didn’t even stick around just hurried up and left mind you she did not have a client to go to. My one toenail was messed up when I left but I was so mad I left it that way. I normally give a 5 dollar tip but this was so bad I left 1, almost left nothing. So do not expect good service here

They do a great job every time and are very service oriented — this is my spot in Alameda.

This has been my go to when I want to reward myself with a nice pedicure. The owners are so nice and they service me from beginning to end. Right when I walk through the doors everyone greets in with a smile and a friendly greeting. I feel really relaxed when I am here. What I look forward to the most is the leg message and getting my feet pampered. The atmosphere isn’t as strong as other places with the scent. Overall I am very pleased with my experience here. Will most definitely recommend and come back!

Usually I try to see the positives in unpleasant experiences but this place was not an exception. Terrible experience. Would not recommend to anyone wanting a professional job done on their nails. My friend and I went to get a basic manicure, we were seated quickly and out of there just as fast. After just a few hours my friends nails started to chip and a day after mine started chipping as well. Charged $ 26 for a job that looks like it was done by a child. Don’t go here if you want anything presentable, not to mention they talk about you as you are sitting right in front of them. The funny thing is, I don’t think they thought I could understand them, very rude. I honestly don’t know how they’re still in business.

I have been going here since they were Lisa’s nails. So I’ve been a loyal customer for around 6 years! Winnie is the best! Though she’s rarely there anymore! She’s very creative in the way she does nails and is a perfectionist! She’s also the only person and another lady with glasses who works there whom I trust with my eyebrows. Eyebrows are only $ 8?! Great deal! Though sometimes they make my eyebrows too thin, they still make them look wonderful! Definitely recommend.

The worse place to go and get your nails done! Went in there today to get acrylic, the lady was giving me a manicure, cut my cuticles which is $ 4 extra. And I wanted acrylic! So I told her! And she obviously kept saying I asked for a manicure! She glued my nail on crooked! Put the fan close to my nails so they got all ugly! Then I go to pay because I was already pissed off! And they rang up $ 29. I said no! $ 29 for what? I got acrylic! And they continue to say oh we cut your cuticles and have you a manicure!1^st of all I didn’t ask to get a manicure! I asked for acrylic! So they charged me $ 24. NEVER AGAIN WILL I CONTINUE TO GO HERE! DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

For 2+ years, Sparadise used to be my go-​to spot in Alameda for a «deluxe» pedicure (impeccable with exfoliating scrubs and luxuriously long leg massages) and lip threading.
But they have lost key staff recently so the quality has gone way down. It is now much harder to overlook the other minor shortcomings like the frequent 10 – 15 min wait (even with appointments), very dated magazines, and overall, the salon is not aging well and does not seem as clean as it used to be.

Love this place!
I always come here for pedicures. The owners are super sweet and the ladies are as well.
Pedicures are $ 20 before tip. Love how they always pay extra attention a to my feet unlike others. My pedis lasts forever but I usually come every ²⁄₃ weeks for one. My feet craves for their pedicures! Lol
Love the décor. Very relaxing and cute.
Only downside would be color choices. I wish that they had more color choices within the neutral and lighter shades. Other than that I really do love this place!

Van, Winnie and all the ladies here are amazing! From the waxing to the mani/​pedi always satisfied! They are nice and their prices are reasonable!

Really good experience. I came here with five friends for prom prep and they did great with the nails & waxing. I got the French tip & some of my freinds got acrylic and we were all very happy with how they looked. They worked fast and well.

My 5 stars goes to Winnie for her eyebrow waxing skills! I only go to Sparadise to get my eyebrows waxed, so keep in mind that my review is strictly for that and nothing else.
I have never had the desire to get my eyebrows waxed because I was always scared of the pain and I didn’t know who to trust with my eyebrows. Luckily, my friend referred me to Winnie and I immediately became a loyal customer to her after my first visit. She stuck to the shape of my brow and didn’t try to change it at all. She knew I was scared, so she did little by little and checked with me to make sure everything was still okay for me. Yes waxing hurts (okay well it’s not THAT bad), but she talks to you during the process in order to distract you from the pain. She’s really sweet and she’ll make time for you and squeeze in an appointment if need be. As I said before I’m a waxing newbie so I have no idea how much it should cost, but I think $ 8 is very reasonable!
Definitely visit Winnie for eyebrow waxing! You won’t regret your visit.

I will try to keep this short and simple. I usually write happy reviews… but this owner pushed it. First time I came here for a pedicure– it was awesome and I gave them 5 stars. After today, they changed my mind– Sorry.
Why?
— the fans they used to dry my nails had a lot of dust… so the dust and little particles kept sticking and landing onto my wet nails. The lady who did my nails (not the owner) had to redo a few of them twice.
— the Owner and one of her employee that was doing my nails kept interrogating me asking whether I was «Vietnamese» or not. I told them I was Chinese (even though I understand a bit of Vietnamese) and the owner mumbles to her employee, «she IS Vietnamese because her last name on her debit card is a Vietnamese last name. CLEVER girl.» Now let me ask you this, why in the world would she use «clever girl» in her statement?!? Plus, if she is assuming that I am Vietnamese, why is she saying this OUT LOUD where I could possibly understand what the heck she is saying!?! Doesn’t make no sense or common sense.
I am the customer, I came in and requested a manicure in the most polite manner and tip very well too. But after today, never again.
I understand that various shops have language barriers… but actually trying to make sure that someone is not Vietnamese so you could continuously speak/​complain about your customers is not a professional way to run a pleasant atmosphere and business. Period.

Sparadise has been my home for my weekly nail and feet needs! I cannot believe how efficient these ladies have been not only one time, but consistently for the last 4 times I’ve been in!
My first visit was for a pedicure, acrylic take off, and mani. I was in a time crunch so I let the ladies know I needed to leave in an hour. They were right on it, having two women work on taking off my acrylic and the third working on my feet. The take off was painful as I had only had them on for a week. The owner gave me a tip and told me next time I wanted a semi permanent set to let the technician know as to not put a strong bond for easy take offs. Check! My manicure was started shortly after. My technician did a fabulous job on my hands and although my nail bed was uneven from the acrylic, they were beautiful with the sandy nail polish I chose. I opted to add a callus removal to my pedi because my feet needed more loving than usual. I felt like it didn’t really help and since it was $ 5, I promised myself not to get it again. I could do more detailing at home.
The third time I went to Sparadise I got a full set yet again because I was moving and couldn’t afford broken nails. The woman did them quickly, beautifully and so thin they never felt fake. I appreciate this because I type so much throughout the day and this detail was important.
Overall I am thoroughly satisfied with the women in Sparadise. I really can calm down and relax because they are not loud and the décor is so pretty. I look forward to many more visits!!!

I came in yesterday with my sister. I treated my sister with a mani/​pedi for her bday. She very much enjoyed it. As for me, I had a great experience especially with Winnie! She was awesome and sooo sweet. Made me feel very comfortable. Im loving my nails! She really does a great job! The décor at this place is so cute and I love how they play Spa-​Like music! I, for sure, will be coming back.
Tip: Ask for Winnie!
