These guys BUST Their A**. They were Great! They came, started and went all day. I kept asking them to take a break and they said no the job was not done. I was exhausted watching them. What a Great Team.
I was very nervous to pick the right movers on the budget I had, but I scored Big Time.
You can trust these guys too. Their minds were on moving and nothing else. Oh yea nothing was damaged at all. Nothing.

Highly NOT recommended. I’d give them zero stars if I could. I booked them a week in advance via email for my Sunday move. Armina promptly got back to me and confirmed that they’d be at my place between 8am-​9am and I should expect a confirmation call the Saturday before my move. I never received a call so I called them late Saturday afternoon. No answer. I emailed her Saturday night to confirm she had all my information because she had yet to ask for my phone number and starting address. Next morning, still no response. I called numerous times in the morning, left a voicemail, and still… no response. By 9:30am I had received no phone call and I had no movers in my driveway. By this time, I had already called multiple places only to find myself in a crazy, frantic bind. Monday morning I finally get a response saying they had accidentally mixed up my roomie’s cancellation with mine. @#$%^~!!! Whatever. In the end, I used Jay’s Small Moves (highly recommended!). If you decide to go with Ryan’s Express… all I can recommend is confirm, re-​confirm, and confirm again.

We used them to move my now-​husband from his one bedroom apartment to our townhouse.
We had their packing service pack up most of his apartment the day before the move. Two ladies came over. One was good and fast, the other was clearly new and needed constant instruction from the other lady, slowing down the process. As a result, when they left after 5 hours, there was still packing for us to do.
Moving day we were unpleasantly told that their regular truck was broken, so they were going to use a smaller U-​Haul to move our stuff. The truck they rented was too small to carry all of our stuff, and the movers probably spent an hour or two trying to rearrange the furniture to try to make it fit. Finally, they decided that two trips were necessary.
Ryan’s Express Moving did not charge us for the time for the second trip, but it was still a 12 hour move (they charged us 9 hours) to move a one bedroom apartment into a two bedroom townhouse less than an hour’s drive away. Mind you, the apartment had a dedicated moving elevator with direct access to the moving truck, and the truck parked right in front of the townhouse. That’s a slow move.
In general, I’ve always had good luck with my movers, but my husband always has bad luck, and Ryan’s Express Moving extended his unlucky streak.

These guys rock! I am very fussy about my house, my hardwood floors, etc. They were careful, courteous, and my boyfriend (who was moving into my house) said, «those guys are a riot!»

These guys were so incredibly helpful in my move down the peninsula this past week! They helped me pack up the typical loose ends and were very conscientious in putting the boxes in the correct rooms in the new place. Thanks a lot, Steve and Renee!
