What can I say? I was definitely underwhelmed with my dog selection. There was nothing special about my meal; rather, basic hot dogs on white buns with standard ingredients, for about $ 4-$ 6 a piece. My son loved the spinning stools, so that was a plus. The restaurant itself is small, was swarming with flies, and was just as underwhelming as our meal. I probably wouldn’t go back with the plethora of options available on Park. Otherwise, it’s a quick meal, yet a tad overpriced.

This place just rocks and has recently gone through an ownership change. While the menu has not changed, they have introduced some nice new additional dogs. The Park st. Slaw is delicious. The new ownership definitely has a different take on customer service. He definitely knows and understands how to communicate with his customers.

Everything you could hope for when looking for a bite to eat. This humble corner spot serves hot dogs at an affordable price that hits a sweet spot with not only your stomach but your bank account. Bring cash if you’re going alone, as there is a $ 0.50 charge to use a debit card for purchases under $ 8. Would visit again!

Always fast and friendly service. The dogs are good with a nice snap when bitten. Great coleslaw(made the way it’s supposed to be) and yummy potato salad. I stop here at least one a week, maybe I’ll see you there.

With all the expensive options on the street my GF and I had to try the ‘Pup’ for a quick snack yesterday. Totally worth it. My ‘deluxe’ was coated in relish, some tomato slices stuck down the side, and just the right amount of mustard. My gal got hers plain with just mustard. We both scarfed em down while sharing a bag of chips and a soda. Just what we needed before more shopping! Our only problem was no bathroom. We were sent to the coffee shop across the street. We enjoyed it though and would go back if that’s what we were craving. Thanks Pampered Pup!

Great place with a variety of hot dogs and condiments/toppings to choose from. Pampered Pup is clean and friendly for that quick bite to eat. I had the classic dog with chips and soda, out the door and went on my way.

Visiting Alameda and ate quick dinner at Pampered Pub of 2 hot dogs. They were great, like Casper’s, and of course the price is low for dinner. Location is great even though parking is difficult. Looking forward to returning and eating some more of their delicious hot dogs.

This is my new spot for a true Chicago dog. The only thing missing is the poppyseed bun. I will be back. Say hello to Tony. He’s a great guy and makes a great hot dog!

Come here for a good hot dog. Nothing fancy, nothing trendy. Just a dog with bun and onion, ketchup, mayo if it suits you. There’s also a few original varieties with cheese, chili or jalapenos. They keep the inside simple too — drinks fridge, a couple of indoor seats, and some good-looking cookies. It only takes a few minutes to get your dog, Bd a few minutes to eat. Hits the spot faster than fast food, if a dog is what you’re looking for.

This place is so cool, went there for a hot dog, steamed to perfection… These traditional hot dogs, we got the Park Street Slaw, hotdog with bacon and coleslaw, I asked for a little mustard only… it was so good… downed it with an ice cold diet pepsi and it did the job… My hubby got the chili cheese dog and added some bacon… he sure devoured that quickly… It really is a small place but yummy hot dogs, kinda like Kaspers… definitely a must try… Oh yeah, that guy up front is pretty cool… tell him Leslie sent ya… lol

Disappointing experience. Dry buns, minimal toppings, okay dog but I’d say on par with a dollar dog at the colosseum and nothing like the C/K chains. They also charge for drink refills. With so many other food options in the area I won’t be back.

Yuck. I’ve walked by Pampered Pup numerous times and it’s always been empty but I ate here recently anyways against my better judgment. My polish was fine but not great, I think I prefer Costco’s, which is also larger and cheaper. My fiancé wanted the $ 1 nachos so we got them and the cheese was sour. They also sell rice crackers and random Nong Shim ramen bowls at the counter. Prices conveniently include tax but I thought the dogs here were overpriced. I wish I had gone the street to Doggy Style for a waffle dog instead!

Decent dogs, good pricing. Fans of real Chicago dogs won’t love their version. The basic dog, however, is delicious.

It was fine. I like C/Kasper’s better. I got the cheese dog. Funnily enough, when she was asking me about toppings, she asked me if I wanted cheese. It was fine, just nothing to write home about. I wouldn’t NOT go back, but probably the only reason I WOULD go back is if I needed something fast, cheap and filling to eat. They also randomly sell Cup ‘a’ Noodles, or however you spell that… and rice crackers.
