Description

Specialties

We special in fine quality needlework supplies for cross-stitch, embroidery & needlepoint.

History

Established in 1998.

The store opened in March 1998 at 1340 Park Street. We were located there for 6 years before moving to a larger location at 1533 Webster Street. We moved in 2010 to 1734 Clement Avenue to gain better parking for our customers.

We completed our move to 2433 Mariner Square Loop Suite 102 in August 2015, downsizing in the process and gaining much needed A/C! We have great parking and are 2 blocks from the new Alameda Landing shopping center and a massive Target store and Michaels craft store. With more food places opening regularly it’s a great area to shop in.

We are in a small office complex with an entrance on Mariner Square Loop and off the courtyard (Mariner Square Drive). With green space and picnic tables to enjoy you can stitch inside or out with us.

Meet the Business Owner

Cathe R.

Business Owner

I’ve been a stitcher for most of my life, having been taught my 2 talented grandmothers and an assortment of teachers along the way. I have a degree in Computer Science and spent 25+ years in high-tech before merging my love of the needlearts with the business/technical side of my brain in opening the shop.

I love to do many different forms of needlework as well as beading, gardening and baking. While not an expert in all things needlework I have an wide range of experience and knowledge, as do my staff, to help with your needlework projects.
