Mike’s Custom Detailing

These guys did an excellent job doing a full exterior detail on my Mercedes Benz E63.
The car looks great, even better than the day I picked it up from the dealer. Would not hesitate to return again.

These guys did an EXTRAORDINARY job on my 11 year old RAV4. It had never had an interior detail before and it was filthy and it smelled. It is now cleaner than I could ever have imagined. They used an odor bomb product that completely removed all the nasty smells that had accumulated. And beyond all that, they are super friendly, incredibly efficient and have a far better price than anywhere else I’ve found. I recommend them highly.

My brand new Subaru Impreza WRX got bombed on by some angry birds and the poop at penetrated the top layer of my paint. I was frantically searching the internet for solutions and most of them said my only saving grace was going to be at the hands of an expert auto detailer. So I found Mike’s Custom Detailing and took my poor baby to see what magic they could work for me. They spent about 6 hours on the car and gave it the full exterior treatment: wash, clay, buffing and wax and though it could quite get the mark out, it was enough to make it unnoticeable to the unsuspecting eye. Overall I was satisfied with their quality of work and their price was reasonable at $ 140 for exterior detail.

I could not believe how well my car looked after I took it to Mike’s Custom Detailing. Excellent work, it was like having a brand new car again. Worth the investment for any vehicle, and the service was incredible.

Lucy decided to pee all over the backseat… ewww…after drenching the back with vinegar soap and water… it smelled like pee + vinegar.
I was desperate and Mike told me to not worry. He told us to drop off the car and he’d take care of the rest «go run your errands don’t worry about coming back on time, you’re car can sit here if you want»…he’s SOOO cool.
When we got the car back he told us that we’d smell the pee for some time and that we’d have to let the miracle’s cure work its magic. He told us to go out and buy some just in case and we did. We’ve sprayed it a couple more times and the smell is 98% gone.
Not sure if you can ever get that smell out 100%…

I had never taken my car to be professionally cleaned, but it had been under a tree, was eventually covered with sap drips, and my well-​meaning father had sprayed the car leaving large water marks all over it.
In utter despair, I began searching the internet for someone who could help me with my once-​beautiful car. Most places were really expensive and not close by until I found Mike’s Custom Detail!
I called and talked to Jim, who walked me through the process in detail so that I would understand what would happen to the car. It sounded very straightforward, but the process was supposed to take 5 – 6 hours, and how was I supposed to get to work? Not to worry! Jim graciously offered to drive me to the nearby Fruitvale BART station after I dropped my car off in the morning, and picked me up at the end of the day, when my brand new-​looking, beautiful car awaited me. And, even though I didn’t ask for the inside to be cleaned, Raoul took the time to vacuum the interior and wipe down the doors at no extra charge.
This business is run by great people, and I’ll definitely be going back!

The only thing they don’t do is clean engines b/​c of environmental laws in our state.
Mike cleaned my car inside and out. Shampooed the trunk even! The hinges on the trunk lid were cleaned and he even cleaned inside the gas cap area! Mike knows attention to detail.
My car was old. 18yrs old. It was in pretty good shape except for the red paint. It was fading. And the wax job he did was so spectacular the car looked like new when i got it back.
I sold the car for almost double what i expected to get for it and i think Mike played a huge part in that.
I will be taking my new car [silver this time.] to Mike for exterior waxing to keep the paint in better shape.
Mike is great for old classics or commuter cars that need a make over. I would certainly take my dirty BMW/​Lexus to Mike. I’m not sure I’d bring him my Lamborghini b/​c if I could afford a Lamborghini I might be spending more than $ 200 on detailing.
Great price. You can get the full deal [~200+] or just interior or just exterior. They charge a tiny bit more for leather because of the conditioner they use. Also black leather is bit more.
If you live in the Oakland/​Alameda area he’ll pick up the car and drop it off free of charge. Very convenient if you work in the area and want to get the job done during the week. I had them pick up and drop off at my office in Alameda. Everything was done on time and as expected.
I would recommend these guys to my family.
