History

Established in 2001.

Herbs & Spices Catering is the creation of Chef Wendy Shay. Wendy was raised in the Bay Area where she grew up eating a wide variety of seasonal ingredients and culturally diverse cuisines. These elements combined to inspire her passion for cooking.

After years of cooking for her family and friends, Wendy decided to become a professional chef. She received her culinary certificate from Tante Marie’s Professional Culinary School in San Francisco.

In 2001, Wendy founded Herbs & Spices Catering and since then has built a fabulous team of catering experts. The Herbs & Spices Catering team can create fabulous meals for your wedding celebrations, dinner parties, or corporate events. All custom menus feature the freshest ingredients, a pinch of creativity, and a passion for cooking.
