Executive Chef Saboor Zafari’s menus feature California-​Mediterranean cuisine and highlight fresh, seasonal ingredients from local farmers markets and our own organic garden. We offer both a dining room and a full bar and lounge for our guests to enjoy.

Monday Night Mojitos:

History

Established in 2002.

Chef Saboor Zafari opened Angela’s Restaurant in 2002 in Marina Village. In 2009, the restaurant re-​opened as Angela’s Bistro and Bar at its current location at the corner of Oak St. and Central Ave., adjacent to the beautifully restored Alameda Theater.

Chef Saboor Zafari has thirty years experience as a chef. He and Angela’s Bistro and Bar have won numerous awards, including the Best Chef and Best Overall Restaurant Awards from Alameda Magazine, the Park Street Business Association’s Culinary Business of the Year Award, and the American Red Cross and the City of Alameda Heroes Award for Community Service
