We attended the Fancy Food Show two weeks ago. Our banner (the star of the show) never made it from Austin. We frantically called around San Francisco to have the banner made in 24 hours. Only one place could promise to have it done – for $ 750. Yikes!
A friend called Mandeep at Fast Imaging. (She has her catering printing done here.)
Mandeep was not at the store but promised me Ana would stay late to help, They did the job for under half the price the city guys were gonna charge. AND they turned the order in 12 hours! I was totally impressed by the customer service and even more excited about the finished product. Ana and her crew stayed until almost midnight to finish my banner and Mandeep opened the store exclusively for me so I could pick up the banner on a Saturday when they are closed. Seriously, I can’t say enough accolades about this business. See my photo – that’s Fast Imaging’s work on the back of the booth. Snazzy, eh?

Poor quality printing and very rude staff. Save yourself the time and frustration and go elsewhere!

Great service and turn around. It was easy to work with them and I’d use them again. They have two options for vinyl stickers– die cut and strips. Save some money by cutting the sides yourself.

Printing is 5 stars, hands down. Thank you so much you guys. First time having a banner printed, and they did an amazing job with it. We literally submitted the graphic at 6pm and it was done by 11am the next day. I was told that they stayed late past 11pm to make sure the print turned out well and would be dry for me to pick up the next day. SUPER impressed, and appreciated their work very very much.
4 stars only because I wish that the Berkeley branch, which is the place that took our order (they don’t do the printing, Alameda does), would have helped us to communicate with the Alameda printing shop better. The lady was helpful and nice in Berkeley but she was relaying the message between the printer and us about where to put grommets on the banner to be hung under a canopy, and the message did not come through clearly. We got there thinking the places we grommetted were ok but the printer there told us he deals with canopies all the time and could have suggested that we marked out where our canopy cover had its grommets so they can match the grommets accordingly. We basically had to take the banner back (un-​grommeted), and mark the holes and bring it back to have grommets put in. But since we needed the banner that very next day, we decided to just live with it as is and used binder clips. Will probably measure it out properly and bring it back. If we had known that the Alameda folks could have just communicated directly with us, we all could have saved on a lot of time and energy.
Anyway, will not hesitate to use this print shop again, but would probably go straight to Alameda instead next time.

I will be going to Queretaro Mexico in March 2015. For my trip to Mexico I want to have a large map of the city. I found two images online and then called up Fast Imaging to see if they can print them larger and laminate them. One was a jpg and one was a pdf. I needed the posters to fit in my suitcase but wasn’t sure what size was best to print at. So I gave them the suitcase dimensions and the two files via email and from that they gave me a suggested size that could be rolled up. The print quality in both came out great. This place is great the staff is soo helpful. I recommend them highly for all of your businesses printing needs. I have been coming here for over 5yrs now and I’ve always received my printing jobs on time. Which means a lot to me because we are all on deadlines, right. Printing is always nice looking and it’s cheaper for my office to pick up all of our forms from here vs. printing in– house with the price of ink these days. Best imaging place ever

This was a completely invaluable find during my science conference in downtown San Francisco. My research group (4 students, 1 professional scientist) had a total of 5 large science posters to print at the last minute. They were each about 4’x6’, and I needed all of them printed before the next morning (and I had arrived as late as 3pm!). The staff (4 – 5 people, three working that day) was accommodating far above and beyond what any typical business would or could offer. One lady, Mandeep Kaur, stayed there until **8:30pm** with me (3 hours after their scheduled closing time) to specifically help me out — at about $ 60/​poster, the quality was identical to what we’d get for $ 150/​poster at the actual conference center, and she obviously worked with me to finish the printing in an extremely small time window.
In all, I couldn’t have asked for better customer service. I will highly recommend this team of printers in Alameda for any projects. They clearly place their customers and their needs as the top priority.

I can’t thank them enough! Mandeep helped me print out some stickers same day and did several proofs to make sure everything came out alright!
Not only had about 6 other local print shops told me that they couldn’t print simple circle labels… but the few that could said I’d have to buy my own label paper from office max/​a paper store OR it would cost over $ 400 for only 20 stickers.

I had some trouble initially getting a response here, which was partially my fault because I called the Berkeley location and sent my files to them first. I called several times to try and confirm that they could print what I wanted and to confirm how much it cost, which I think was because they were very busy. It was also difficult to describe what I wanted over the phone, and initially my files (vinyl stickers) were not printed the way I wanted. When I went into the store, however, Mandeep and Ana were very helpful, it was much easier to show them what I wanted, and they modified the stickers while I waited in the shop. I then sent a second file, and the results were perfect and very fast (2.5 day turn-​around each time). They were also the only print shop I could find nearby who would print vinyl stickers on a small scale, and they had several colors of vinyl which they could die cut and put backing paper on, which was exactly what I needed. Mandeep also sold me some raw materials, which I really appreciated, and she and Aney updated me via email. I will definitely use Fast Imaging again.

My husband and I found this copy shop after frequenting FedEx Kinko’s. We needed to scan a hard copy document and convert it to a fillable PDF file. Where Kinko’s looked at us like we were crazy, Fast Imaging ran with the project and got it done within a day. Ana G. at the front counter greeted us with a bright cheerful attitude, and introduced us to Inder S., who explained how he would alter the document. Ana is tech savvy — she was very patient in helping us get the document working on an iPad. No project is too bizarre or too tough — they are willing to try anything. This document will save us countless hours… too bad we didn’t check out Fast Imaging sooner. So grateful!

We were in need of replacing some signs for Habitat for Humanity, and we looked around trying to find the right place to get it done.
After going to some places in Oakland that were unable to help us, and places that seemed to not care even, we found Fast Imaging on Unilocal and decided to go here.
We were very impressed by the help we got in recreating our signs, when Zaz took the extra time with us to go over the image and to create it again. Zaz was very helpful and very easy to work with, and we got our signs made in just the way we needed them!

Fast Imaging is like my second home — as soon as I started my business, I got everything printed here, from business cards, to greeting cards, to banners, etc. It was amazing and the customer service was amazing.

Had a somewhat rushed work project — the boss wanted to do Kinko’s but I chose Fast Imaging instead after reading their reviews… like a previous poster noted, you pretty much deal with the same folks here, as opposed to Kinko’s where it’s a revolving door of different personnel, which can lend itself to miscommunication and lots of errors.
The Fast Imaging folks provided constant feedback and the job was done for half the cost of the Kinko’s quote. The boss was impressed!
My husband uses them also and we will both definitely be back for future jobs. :-)
