Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art that combines fight, dance, music and acrobatic movements. Classes are 90 minutes of intense aerobic exercise involving the endless movements of the Martial Art. Capoeira is a group activity but the development of the techniques are individual, so each student will progress at their own rate.

History

Established in 2010.

Jadson Souza has been with the Association of Capoeira Mestre Bimba since 2000. He began his training at the original academy in Salvador, Brazil which was the first Capoeira school in history.

Business Owner

Jadson Souza de Jesus is from the homeland of Capoeira – Salvador, Brazil. He started his Capoeira training in 2000 at the Associação de Capoeira Mestre Bimba with his mentor Mestre Bamba. In 2006, Jadson received his graduation of Formado and taught Capoeira in Salvador at the Associação and local schools. In 2007, he graduated from Unijorge University with a degree in Physical Education. This has complemented his Capoeira instruction as well as his vibrant energy and passion for this significant art form. Jadson moved to the U.S. in 2010 and is now passing his Mestre’s knowledge to his students here.
