Do you ever feel like you got a service beyond what you expected, pretty rare.
Mike and his crew delivered. I had to have 1 electrical outlet placed in my work truck. He installed 2! No extra charge! I know it is just a work truck but, it was neat and clean. You could really tell they thought about it before the install.

Very impressed with Mike and David from Alameda Radio! My husband and I have been debating having our TV mounted, mainly because we have seen some bad jobs. But we are so pleased with their professionalism and expertise. Not only was the job hassle free for us, but not a single wire is in sight. They were also great with my toddlers curiosity of what they were working on.
I highly recommend them for your audio needs!

I’m not sure what I expected from a mobile stereo service as my Fiancé set this up so we didn’t have to take time out of our busy schedules to go to a shop. Mike was «on the dot» on time and when he said he would be finished in an hour, it was exactly an hour. He even took the time to show me what all the little buttons were for and how to get in and out of the menu (not that I’ll remember because I just need to know how to turn it off and on). BEST feature, that I didn’t know was part of the system we bought, was the Bluetooth/​phone pairing. It’s kind of weird to talk through your radio but hey-it’s also kinda rad! Great customer service, very professional. Thanks Mike!

Mike is simply amazing! He was always kind, honest, and incredibly knowledgeable. He even suggested we wait on getting new speakers since they were still in good condition. My husband and I bought a 2008 Jeep while we were visiting family in Alameda… we live out of state… and we were anxious to get our new radio/​GPS Kenwood installed, along with a backup camera. Our time was limited but Mike fit us right into his schedule. He even expressed ordered some parts for us so we would be able to have this for our long drive home. He told us that the it would take a couple of days to get the parts but after they arrive if we brought the car in by 8:30 am he would have it all finished by the late afternoon. Well the parts arrived when he expected them and called to let us know that we were good to bring in the Jeep the following day. We brought it in to him and by 2 pm he called to say it was all finished! WAY ahead of what time we were anticipating. Mike also called us a couple of times while he was working on the car to keep us in the loop and ask any specific preferences we had. Overall he is wonderful and we wish his business was near us, but anytime we are in the Alameda area and need something car related, Mike is our first stop.

Mike is the man! I thought that I had blown some speakers in my car, so I contacted Alameda Radio and Alarm. Mike was at a job nearby and told me to come by so he could check it out. After just a minute, he was able to tell that the speakers sounded fine, and that the problem was most likely a bad connection with the stereo. He was able to schedule me in the next day, even though he was very busy already. One of my favorite things about Mike’s service is that he can come to you. I didn’t have to take a minute out of my day since Mike came to my work. He gave me a 30 minute window and showed up exactly when he said he would. He was able to fix my stereo system in no time just the way he thought. He also gave me a rough estimate the day before, and that was exactly what the price ended up being. His price was also extremely reasonable! I’ve got a few other things I’d like to do with my car stereo, and will for sure be calling Mike when I’m ready to get that work done.

Mike replaced my car stereo today with one that I can plug my phone into to play music. He got me in the day after I called, got the whole thing done in under an hour, and even helped me with a broken switch he noticed on my seat. Awesome guy, reasonable prices, A+ work.

Mike is amazing! I called him this morning to see if he could fix my AUX port (cable broke off into the port). He said he had time at 5 (even though they close at 5!), and would call me closer to 5. When he called he said he could come to my house if it was easier (which let’s be honest is always easier). He worked on my car right in front of my house, and within an hour and less than $ 80 later, I had a working AUX port again!
He was easy to talk to, and really went out of his way! I’d definitely use his services again.

Mike did a great job installing an amp, 4 speakers, and subwoofer in my 2013 Avalon. He communicated what he was planning to do every step of the way, and stayed within my budget. The workmanship is first class. The final result is a great sounding system.

Mike was an awesome installer and a great and flexible guy. He meet me at my apartment and installed it at park parking lot since his van would not fit in the garage. My kid and I played while he installed a new HD radio with Bluetooth, microphone and usb cable all hidden. He also got the steering wheel controls to work with the new stereo along with voice and set up the stereo and told me how it worked. This guy is great you will be pleased with his work and prices.

Mike Rocks! My 20 year old Honda had a crisis the Monday before Thanksgiving: My tunes died. How could I drive from T-​dinner to T-​dinner without my tunes? Another crisis foreshadowed this problem: a little over a year ago my car alarm started failing. Randomly I started calling around, and then stopped by a shop on Clement. The shop told me to call Mike and at first he wasn’t sure he could fit me in, but then Tuesday afternoon he said he could fix my car up then & there. As he expertly installed the alarm, cleaning up some messy wiring from previous alarm (s), we spent over an hour chatting about life, cars, and music. (How on earth could he be playing with electricity while we had such a conversation?) Suddenly he turned on the radio and there were the tunes! I swear, today my car even runs better. Thanks, Mike!

As many have said on this page, Mike is the absolute man. He got me out of a jam by coming to the shop where I was selling my car to the mechanic, that day! Not only did he take out my deck, amps and subs from the car within an hour or so, but he also filled the deck space with an old deck he had laying around so that the mechanic would have a working system. Then, on top of all that, a few days later her came onsite again and put all of the stuff he had removed into my new vehicle. Needless to say Mike totally saved me and did it with the utmost class. I would definitely work with him again and i have no hesitation when recommending him. Not to mention, he is an A’s fan which totally sealed the deal.

Mike was awesome. He came to my work and did my new stereo install on the spot. He was extremely knowledgeable of the stereos that I was choosing between and answered all of my questions. He also went out of his way to find a solution that worked for what I was trying to accomplish and to get the parts necessary to do it. Add in a lifetime warranty on the install and I am a very satisfied customer.

As good as it gets. So often you get a scheisty money making salesman and Mike is not that at all. He was accomodating, honest, nice, looks trustworthy and he will get all our audio business from now on. He actually came to my work to work around my schedule to help me out. The stereo install went great, he’ll be modifying some dash stuff on my next installation of an alarm. Very pleased. Highly recommend!

Mike came to install a new alarm system in my car recently, as well as fixing the motor on my driver’s side door. Not only did he do an excellent job, but he was very nice, professional, knowledgeable, and affordable. I’d recommend him to anyone, and I’ll certainly be back to him for any other car needs I may have in the future. Oh, AND he also informed me that my air bag light was on, and that I needed to have that looked asap by the people at the dealership where I bought my car from. He was excellent all around and went above and beyond! Thanks Mike! :)

Mike is always the man. Fixed my Clifford GSR fqed up alarm after some #cheapghettos tried to take my shit over at fruitcake Bart parking. #fruitvale #thxautocorrect quick! Was like 30 minutes from diagnose to repaired. All good to go! Mike even found my bad ground and grounded it! This guy is like he has a Electrical Engineering P.E. or something.
If you want your car fixed by a P.E., mike is even better than anyone you already know.
