standard 7 – 11 except the parking lot is small. so definitely not a destination except when i need coffee. brew:(sm 1.35) –whatever blend is available, usually the exclusive smooth if i get fresh brew, a little harsh if it’s a bit old drips: –no service problems in the daytime.

Check off as never come here late at night. Just drove pass and the lot was full of little Hondas racer cars. People just hanging out. Might as well close the store.

The 5 stars are for the awesome staff and the 24⁄7 hours! Say what you will about a chain store that makes its $ on lotto tickets, corn syrup, and cheap cigars. All that aside, this is a great business to have in the neighborhood. THEPEOPLEWHOWORKHEREARE D@MNDECENTHUMANBEINGS! I work odd hours and appreciate any business open 24⁄7 in my wonderfully quaint town called Alameda. I regularly need a cup of hot coffee at 3 or 4am and a pre-sleep drink to unwind before bed at 6am or 10am. This place is always open, and the staff are friendly and non-judgemental. Nobody here gives me a hard time just because I’m opperating outside of the local time zone. It’s easy to get burned out on humanity when you’re working retail, I know from past experience, but the night crew deserve a bonus in their paycheck, a pat on the back, a hug, and a raise.

It’s a 7⁄11. This one is kind of hid away. It’s an average 7⁄11. It gets the job done and is convenient.

Although I’m not an avid fan of this place it is a very busy store. Maybe because there isn’t a nearby grocery store? The small parking lot is always packed the times we hv stopped here for gum, lottery tix or red box movie. Nestled in a residential area, one would have to know its here in order to find it. The area is a bit shady.

Nothing particular about this 7 – 11, neither great or awful. Except one thing. The main night clerk is a thief. He is the older middle eastern guy and he may even be the store owner. I have been overcharged on several occasions by him. Many products are not even labeled with a price tag so he can charge whatever he wants. The first time it happened I just thought I had looked at the prices wrong or they were on the wrong shelf above the wrong price labels. But going back later to purchase the exact same items proved that he just overcharged me. For instance the little Totino’s pizza’s are sitting above a sign marked $ 1.99 and that is what I’m charged by the other clerks. The night clerk charged me $ 4.99. Then I go in with a friend late at night to buy some snacks and a bottle of wine. The wine bottles actually had price tags on them stating $ 7.99. He charged us $ 11.99. He also said the two donuts we had would total $ 1.00 and on the receipt it said $ 3.00! We caught all of this on our receipt and called him out on it and he actually argued with us! He tried to tell us that we had to pay that because the register charged that much when he scanned it. We told him that it doesn’t matter, it’s false advertising, the bottle literally reads $ 7.99 and that’s what he’s going to charge us. My friend bought it on a credit card and he gave her $ 2.00 in cash back. That’s still an overcharge and it’s on her credit card, it wasn’t a cash exchange! Looking back I remember leaving his register and wondering how I spent x amount when I thought I’d added it up to be much less. Now I know his game. He’s a thief and I am going to go back to this store just to get his name so I can report him to the better business bureau.

Local neighborhood go-to when you gotta need a drink, snack, craving, or you just ran out of something and don’t want to go to Lucky’s. Friendly owners and staff!

If it wasn’t for the Redbox video rental posted up outside, I would never come near here, especially at 9 p.m. on a Friday night. Yech. It seems to be the hangout for drunken and toothless old guys. There are plenty of cleaner convenience stores near my house, minus the toothless Joes, but none with the damn Redbox! On a positive note, I went in to buy a drink at the same time and the clerk was a nice guy. If this was my only option, I would shop here. In the meantime, I will just stick with my Redbox movie and be on my merry way!

* 2.5 stars! * Unfortunately this location at night is… GET. TOE. And what’s up with their Coke slurpee machine!!! It’s NEVER making the Coke right, ever. EVER! I don’t get it… why is it always really really dark and mostly liquid??? (Coke’s the most popular slurpee flavor… they’re losing business in always having it yucky mush!) Also, the location could be a lot cleaner. — These things aside, the employees are nice & in general it’s nice having a 7 – 11 near my house… So yeah, 2.5 sounds about right.

Today was filled with firsts for me. It was the first time I took two chocolates from the office-candy-dish and put one back. It was the first time I ate a homemade roast beast sammy while sitting in the back of my suv. It was the first time I wandered through a huge warehouse watching The Crucible folks blacksmithing, pouring hot bronze into molds, and blowing glass. It was the first time I’ve been to the beach in Alameda. It was the first time I saw two hookers plying their trade outside a 7 – 11.

This 7-Eleven features both a copy machine AND sugar cookies with the Raiders logo decorated on them. This 7-Eleven does NOT sell hard liquor(Does any 7-Eleven?). They sell jugs of wine and small kegs of beer, along with what some folks call«The best coffee ever!» I usually skip the donuts, hot dogs and nachos. What’s with the Grandito burrito?
