This place is out of business. No longer at this location. I tried to take my family there last night for dinner, and they are shut down, no longer at this location. DONOTCOMEHEREFORPIZZA!!!

They really need to update the hours! I have been calling since 11pm and no one picks up, and I’ve seen the reviews that they close sometimes but the hours say 4am they close 4 hours early??? And they are the only ones on my list for late night pizza. So sad

Can’t choose 1 star cause I’ve never eaten there before… but their Unilocal review says they’re open till 4:00am…went there at 12:00am, they were absolutely not open. They should really change/update their hours of operation on Unilocal,we drove out here from town to see what the hype was about only to find that it was CLOSED!!! So disappointing!

Awesome pizzas, good plate lunches and beer at a driving range. Sign me up! Only thing is they close early and I’m usually in town. Wish these guys were located at the Ala Wai driving range

There is only one size pizza, 12 inches, which is like a medium size pizza at most chain places. A little too small for three people. But they also have other specials and plate lunches that sounded good, wish I’d ordered something else to supplement our meal. The pizza was ready within 10 minutes, good service. I will come back again!

We had the margarita pizza, pepperoni pizza, and the garlic fries. Pizzas are made to order and from a brick oven. Pizzas were great but I would like to have been able to order a bigger size. The garlic fries were awesome. Not over garlicky and the fries were perfectly fried. I would return to try the other eats. The guy at the counter was funny especially when he kept reminding the cook he didn’t work there.

Thanks to Unilocalers, I found out about Newtown Drive Inn now offering Inferno’s Wood Fire Pizza. I went on a Friday evening around 7:15 and was crossing my fingers that they wouldn’t be out. No problem, no line, just a few folks eating plate lunches at the picnic-style tables. I ordered a meat pizza(peperoni, sausage, sopresatta — a kind of salami) and a white truffle pizza(mushrooms, onions, garlic and truffle oil) to go. Both were $ 18. Now here’s the catch: If you order to go, they add $ 2 per pie. I thinks it’s for this plastic web material that lines the bottom of the box. It probably keeps the bottom from falling out due to the steam. Hawaii GET is included in the price so the takeout charge was OK by me. Bottom line grindz review: The pizzas had a thin crust(crackly on the thin pieces and chewy on the rind) that had a hint of smoke flavor — quite tasty. Toppings were fresh and tasty. Portion/size was about right for an $ 18 – 20 pie. I’d like to try some of the other things Newtown Drive Inn has to offer, like their pastele stew.

This is the second time I’ve come and they’ve told me they aren’t making pizzas today. Not a good way to do business in my opinion. Very unreliable business practice.

I took my pizza to go. The Italian salami pizza was real good.(Kind of salty but it was a way better taste then plain pepperoni). I took it to go and pizza smell bothered me and thank God it is still legal to eat and drive! The prices are a big steep for the pizza size but it’s good. They are a thin-crusted and it is a part of the Newtown driving range so that’s a better option since they sell other food items. I so want to try their pastele stew. I gave them 4 stars bc I waited for almost 8 minutes to get their attention so I can put in my order. When I was there, there was two or three workers and I understood that these ladies were having a lunch date and ordered choke food so I had grace for the lack of greeting right away. I’ll come back. I would strongly suggest if you want to do take out, make a phone order. There is covered seating connected and they accept card through those square ready readers.

Great pizza and teri burgers. Pizzas are ready in five minutes, cooked in the kiawe oven at 800 degrees. Faster than the burgers. Service was awesome too. Would be great when they print out take out menus or post one on Unilocal

I am a reluctant golfer. My husband loves to golf and there are few things that get him more excited than seeing me hit a golf ball. I’ve accepted that it’s better than him being addicted to drugs, porn or gerbils. Right? So to feed this manly fetish, every Sunday we head to a driving range with our little ones in tow for a few hours of hitting balls and munching on snack bar fare. This particular week we headed to the Newtown Driving Range and were surprised to see that the concession was now being run by Inferno’s Pizza. When driving out to Aiea/Pearl City, we always wonder what we’ll eat because food options can be limited. I expected to be eating french fries and a sandwich for lunch from the humdrum snack bar, and I cannot tell you how wonderful it was to see Kyle and Reide behind the counter! Hallelujah for wood-fired pizza to break up the day!!! After hitting a few buckets of balls we ordered a margherita pizza($ 16) and a meat pizza($ 18.) Kyle cooked up our pizzas in their wood-fire oven while we munched on a quart of Reide’s famous kim chee during the wait. It’s not crazy hot, which was fine by me, but it’s very tasty. My brother and his wife joined us for lunch and at first they were just going to get a pizza to go. I convinced them that the pizza had to be eaten piping hot right out of the oven. We devoured our pizzas as there’s nothing better in the world than a crispy crust. I didn’t try it, but my husband noted that he enjoyed their crazy hot ghost pepper sauce. Thank you Inferno’s for opening a second location in Pearl City. Now I’ve got some extra motivation for hitting those golf balls with the promised reward of a piping hot Inferno’s pizza!
