When I turned 34 I noticed all my crinkles and wanted to be proactive about my skin regimen. As a pharmacist, my goal was to do something proven to be beneficial and decided that botulinum toxin «botox» would be part of my regimen.
Dr.Yew’s website featured a testimonial of one of my high school classmates who looked amazing. The fact that Dr. Yew has many years and time committed to botox injections sold me. I wanted someone with a lot of experience and great results. My face is what people remember about me and I would not trust it to anyone.
It has been two years since my first appointment. My results have made me so happy. I tell people it is my best beauty intervention in my 30s and it is the truth. I also love that he is constantly looking for the best products that will share rewards and reimbursements with patients.
In addition to being an excellent physician, Dr. Yew has always been kind and shown genuine interest in my life endeavors. I enjoy our conversations and look forward to seeing him and his staff again!

1. The staff’s telephone etiquette is on point. I felt comfortable and welcomed from the time I called to make my first appointment.
2. The office is clean, the staff in the front desk is friendly, warm, and inviting.
3. Dr. Yew and his office partner Erica (pardon if I misspelled her name) have a very warm demeanor. And during my appointment, they took their time educating me in their botox process. I felt comfortable in asking questions on anything I was unclear about.
4. The work they did on me was incredible. They are experienced and extremely knowledgable. I am very happy with my overall results.
5. They are good on their coupons and referral gifts! So make sure to refer your family and friends after your wonderful experience!

If you are looking for the top doctor on Oahu who provides Botox & filler treatments, you can stop your search. Dr. Yew is hands down the absolute best at what he does. I’ve been a patient for several years and come in every 3 or 4 months. He consistently provides top notch treatment using botox (or dysport) without any bruising or discomfort. The results are always great, this man is a true professional. He takes his time, is never in any
rush like other docs on this island (and yes, I’ve been to many others). He is highly educated, and it is reflected in his work. His staff is wonderful, his office in Ala Moana is upscale & nice.
Oh did I mention… his prices are lower than most docs, what an added bonus !

I am a big fan of Dr. Yew’s and his staff’s work. He did my number 11’s (between the eyes) as well as my massetter injection (a injection that is great for TMJ). I was really impressed with his bed side manner and the comfortable atmosphere in the office. When we come into a doctor’s office to improve ourselves, we like to feel put at ease and as if we could ask any question and this office definitely did that. They have two locations (one in Aiea and one at Ala Moana) so it is really convenient if you happen to not be a ‘townie’. They also have a text-​able office number and they respond! So excited about that. The last thing I’ll say is that he works really well within a budget and is very upfront about pricing so if you are looking to stay within a certain price range and are interested in ‘sprucing up a bit’, he will work with you and give honest feedback to help you get the results you want.

Awesome! I can’t tell you how happy I have been with my treatments from Dr. Yew! Not only with the results of my Botox and Juvederm but with the level of professionalism he has. He always makes me feel very comfortable and no matter how long I have been seeing him, he always fully explains the treatments and keeps my expectations in reality. He is friendly, approachable and does his research throughly on all the different products he uses. And he knows how and who should use what, because as you know, we all are different and each product works differently with skin types, ethnicities, etc. he is soooo knowledgeable!

I had an appointment with Dr. Yew today and he is just an amazing person. I am so happy that I researched online and decided to have a consultation with him. He took his time and explained everything like everyone else has said. I had a bad car accident in 2011, where I shattered the left side of my face and it ended up pushing my eye back, so I was hoping he could help me make my face look a little more symmetrical. Dr. Yew explained what he would be able to do for me and decided to go with a filler. It looks so much better. I also had Botox injections which I will be able to see results in a few days or so. I am extremely happy with everything and would definately go back to see him and his staff.

I had been wanting to try the dermapen procedure for a while now because I’ve struggled with acne, large pores and oily skin since I was a teenager. I was a little hesitant to try the dermapen procedure but all of my fears went away when I had a consultation with one of Dr. Yew’s staff member. They explained everything from what it actually is to the side effects and then the results. It’s a painless procedure and from start to finish is done in about an hour.
A week later and my skin is literally soft as a baby’s butt, my pores have shrunk, acne scars are gone and the oil is decreasing. I haven’t felt this confidence in my face for years!
Not only was the esthetician wonderful and professional but Dr. Yew was welcoming and made me feel comfortable before and after my procedure.

Dr Yew is an absolute artist. His goal is to help you achieve the best version of yourself and will actually tell you if he thinks something you’d like to try is not really going to be worth the money! His extremely skilled hands, his artistic eye for aesthetics and his genuine desire to treat others as he would treat himself simply make him the best at what he does. I am about to be 41 years old and have been going to him now for over a few years and thanks to him I actually look better than when I was in my early 30’s! People are usually shocked when they find out my age. Dr Yew is simply AMAZING at what he does and I am so grateful to have been introduced to him!

Today was the First time I visited with Doctor Yew & my1st time with Botox.
He was extremely friendly, professional, and very knowledgable along with his assistant about the procedures.
We discussed a few of my troubled areas and he told me it was not needed and I would not see a Huge difference even if I filled those areas.
(He did not try to «Up Sale» me anything I did not need.)
He took his time and was not in a rush, showing me Before and After of HIS patience not just a pic off the internet.
The actual procedure was quick.
I can’t wait to see the after results in a few days when it has had time to do its Magic. Wish I had found him sooner, will definitely be going back.

I have been going to Dr. Yew over 2 years and referred 3 people to him in that time. It pains me to write this review as I feel ashamed at being duped for such a long time.
I have spent over $ 20,000 in that time going in every 3 – 4 months for more and more fillers and Botox. I believe with 90% certainty that the fillers and Botox are being diluted because within 3 weeks of having fillers injected into my cheeks the volume has almost completely dissipated. Botox has worn off within 2 months time.
I believe that Dr. Yew is diluting his product to increase his profits considerably while having patients increase their visits for touch ups. That is a win, win for him and a losing proposition for his clients.
His staff is writing glowing reviews to boost his ratings. «Heidi» is one of his assistants… nice try.
I agree with another reviewer in that he is ego-​driven and extremely passive/​aggressive in his manner. Bottom line, his greed will eventually be his undoing.

If you are looking for Botox in Honolulu… LOOK NO FURTHER. You will never meet a more honest, compassionate, intelligent doctor than Dr. Yew. I was very hesitant to do this treatment until I had my consultation at Q Laser Center with Dr. Yew. His professionalism is incredibly reassuring, and his bedside manner can’t be beat. He explains everything in detail, invites you to ask questions, and doesn’t rush you to make decisions. His staff are also a testament to his professional standards. I couldn’t be more pleased with the results, and the warm welcome this man and his staff provide is exceptional. I found out that others I know go to Dr. Yew as well! Based on my own results, as well as the testimonials of my friends, I will continue to suggest Dr. Yew to everyone I know.

Dr. Yew is the most honest, gentle, and talented doctor in the islands if not in the entire pacific. He tells it like it is, he does not exaggerate anything, and he knows when to say «no». Although I would have been willing to inject just about anything in my face after a double whammy of a major life dissappointment AND a broken heart, this man (suprisingly) would not do it. He is so top knotch there are’nt even enough good words to describe him. Did I leave looking younger? No, but I left feeling better, and I know when the time is right this is THE only man who will touch my aging face!

I was treated like Ohana! Dr Yew and his staff are ALL that and then some! I love my results!

Love Dr. Yew and his staff, especially Heidi! I got the Dermapen micro needling procedure from Heidi and it was excellent. My skin is refreshed and smooth. I also got Botox between my brows from Erica and she has a great touch. I didn’t feel a thing and I’m already noticing the fine lines that were appearing to diminish. I’m so pleased with my results and can’t wait to tell all of my friends about Dr. Yew and company!

Dr. Yew is world-​class. I’ve been going to him for Botox & filler for a few years with fantastic results. I’m 56, Asian, and my desire is to age gracefully & appropriately — just want to continue looking the best I can for my age. I sure don’t want to look like I’m 20. Dr. Yew has the same philosophy. My results have always been subtle yet striking. People have no idea that I’ve had anything done. They just remark on how rested & youthful I look.
I’ve had darkish undereye bags/​tear troughs for as long as I can remember, and they’ve gotten worse as the aging process has made my face lose volume. They made me look tired no matter how rested I was. Concealer has been my mainstay for years, but it’s never really completely taken care of the fatigued look. I was seriously considering an undereye blepharoplasty in the near future. But I thought I would see what Dr. Yew could do for the time being.
During my appointment yesterday, Dr. Yew thoughtfully counseled me on expectations rather than promising me the moon. He is so honest and ethical. He discouraged me from using the new filler Voluma since I wasn’t yet a candidate. It’s more expensive, so he could’ve just made a bundle off of me. Instead, he very carefully & artfully administered Perlane, a less-​expensive filler, to volumize my cheeks right under the tear troughs. After the injection, I could immediately see that the troughs were much less noticeable. And today — gasp! The tear troughs have filled in! It’s an unexpected miracle, as Dr. Yew told me not to expect them to completely go away.
First time in 25years I haven’t used concealer under my eyes! Thank you Dr. Yew. To say that I’m pleased with the results would be a major understatement. I’m so happy and relieved that I won’t need surgery as long as Dr. Yew can work his magic.
For anyone on the fence about getting Botox and/​or fillers, I highly recommend just taking the plunge. You won’t look back. Do it for yourself and nobody else! Your self-​esteem will skyrocket. and that will reflect in all other aspects of your life. Dr. Yew is such a blessing!

What a great experience! So pleased to find Dr. with such a great bedside manner who is not only very knowledgeable about what he does but also tries to impart some of that knowledge to his patients so they can feel comfortable and know exactly what to expect.

I’ve had fillers before… this was the best experience by far!
With one syringe, he was able to create a more youthful appearance with 4 small injections! The results were dramatic and immediate. The explanation was thorough and very very helpful. No pain!
I guess I really appreciate this experience because before I had lots of bruising, about a dozen injections in one sitting and still had to go back for more because the appearance was bumpy! I didn’t realize that it didn’t have to be that way…
