They have excellent selections for your garden, including annuals, perrenials and shrubs. There are staff that are very knowledgeable about their various plants. I have purchased a number of perrenials and annuals from them. It helps that they have organized their plants not only by variety but also by annuals and perenials and sun versus shade plants. They have a perennial membership which is worth joining. Do yourself a favor and obtain a perrenial membership and ask to receive their email newsletter.
They have a good selection of roses which is my favorite flower in addition to shrubs and trees. Have purchased quite a number of roses from them in addition to Rose of Sharons and other shrubs. Schwarz also has a collection of trees.
If you enjoy gardening, do yourself a favor and drop by Schwarz. What you may find different here is that they not only sell plants, but people that work here also enjoy working with plants themselves.

BTW, the only nursery/​garden center in Elmhurst/​Addison/​Hillside area that had Japanese Maples in stock in late April 2011. Several lovely varieties available, worth the price.
