Creative Mirror and Shower Door did a beautiful job installing our new glass shower door at our home in Wheaton, IL. nearly 2 years ago. Recently the door began to exhibit signs of binding when opened or closed. Clayton and Corey promptly responded to our request to fix it. They really knew what they were doing and quickly fixed a loose hinge. We like to do business with companies that support their product as this company does, and whose employees are as competent and customer oriented as were these two men. We recommend this company to anyone looking for shower enclosures.

Very helpful shower experts. I had a situation where a recent installation done by another partner had installed damaged glass and was unable to provide shower guard glass that didn’t have scratches, bubbles, and water marks. I asked Creative to come to my house to give me an estimate on if and how they can fix it once the contractor removes. They gave me information on why it wasn’t done properly and specifically what I needed to do to correct the problem to ensure no damage. However, he recommended I try to get my money back from the original installer and keep the enclosure for now until I’m ready to replace the tile and base, because the damage may cause leaks by removing. He was focused on the best outcome for me — and my situation. I will hire them when I’m ready to fix my bathroom. Very honest people who know what they are doing.

Just had both of our bathrooms remodeled and used Creative Mirror and Shower for the shower bases and glass doors! Love it! Dave and Chris came to install the glass doors today and they did a terrific job! Super nice guys, very friendly, even my dog liked them!

Chris and Dave did an amazing job. They put up a perfect 40 ft wall of mirrors for my new gym, The HIT Locker in La Grange, IL. They came on time, did not bang up the walls, installed the mirrors beautifully, and left the place spotless. I’d definitely work with them again for all our upcoming locations. Thank you!

I recently remodeled my home and needed to get rid of a very dated brass sliding glass shower door. My first quote was from a local glass company that I have used before. I felt the quote was high and I wasn’t really clear what I was getting. I requested a second quote from Creative Mirror & Shower and so happy I did. Rich came out to the house to measure and provided a very clear quote. He even came back a second time so I could better understand exactly what was being installed. The price was much better than my first quote. Two experienced installers did a fantastic job installing the new glass shower enclosure and it looks amazing! A great experience all around.

Bought a shower base, seat and door and LOVE them all! Enrique and Matt did a great job installing the shower door. I just wish they did installs on the weekend, that is why I had to do 4 stars. Would be a definite 5 if they installed on Sat.

Keith and Lukas were fantastic with our shower door installation. Went above and beyond to explain everything from their process during install, to the product, to cleaning and maintenance. Had a small problem which they had to come back and when they did they were fast (5 minutes, in and out). Cared enough to take off shoes and cleaned up jobsite both times. Good people — wish all were like these two! Thank you Creative Mirror for having great folks representing you!

I contacted this company as I was referred by a friend and wanting to get glass tops to protect some of my furniture that my mover didn’t destroy (that’s a whole nother review).
Anyhoo, these folks were so friendly and helpful. The person I was told to call wasn’t in, so I spoke to Doris. She was very helpful, and guided me through the process and explained what I needed.
I haven’t received my order yet, but I am sure it will be fine, I will update this review later.
UPDATE:
My order was delivered on Christmas eve day. The installers were quick and professional, everything fit to a t. They even left me some cleaner and a cloth. I am so happy that I can display the beauty of my dining room table without having to worry about it!

I’m reposting my review because this is one in the same company with the other location in Chicago. While it’s clear they are trying to raise the bar on their customer service both in their business and on Unilocal,I feel it’s only fair that the review be applied to all their locations. It seems Unilocal is overposting the company locations when it’s the same entity.
I have used this company for two different projects now. Previously, I have used Ashland Glass for a lot of work done in my home– but the difference between the two companies is PRODUCT. If you like a cheap product on a budget, this place isn’t for you. What Creative Mirror uses is QUALITY. That being said, my Condo is my home and there is no place for garbage here. I want something that will last, so I’m not fixing it tomorrow. Creative’s product is bar none, the best I’ve had. I just had new Raumplus mirroed closet doors installed (German Engineered) and they are the highest quality (DEAD SILENT) doors I’ve ever used. Not cheap, but again– you get what you pay for.
You would be very wise with this company– or any other for that matter, to THOUROUGLY explain your project needs and wants. I’ve seen many reviews where «projects gone wrong» and I think it’s important that all your expectations be discussed up front. If you hand someone the check and say «this is what I want” — in such a precarious manner, don’t be suprised when it’s done incorrectly, that applies to ANY contractor.
My entire home has been remodled from top to bottom so I know what I’m talking about. That way if it’s screwed up later you have ground to walk on. My project was no easy task and the outcome was 100% perfect. The roadblocks and things to expect were dicussed up front with me– a very motivating factor in me moving forward with my decision (no suprises). Best of all, the timeline was perfect. I was actually suprised how quickly they got everything done. Bottom line, the work they did was fantastic and I would return again for any future projects. I want to finally add, that the owner isn’t some lazy ass that doesn’t get involved when needed, in his customer’s projects. All too often you can hire a company and you dont’ know who the hell is running things. The owner Mark, had kept me in the loop from start to finish. Great job guys.

I was told 3 – 4 weeks, and nearly to the day, my glass backsplash was installed in 4 weeks. I had to make a couple of calls, send an email to stay on top of things, which I find pretty typical in the home improvement game. But, all in all, great experience. It looks beautiful! If I can figure out how to add a photo I will. I would definitely use them again.

Recently my wife and I experienced a problem with our old sliding mirrored doors, and we decided to have them replaced. The old doors were purchased from Home Depot, so we started there. We discovered that most of what was available was rather cheap in quality, so we then went to the internet to find some higher quality mirrored doors. We shopped around extensively, and got quotes from several places. We decided to go with Creative Mirror and Shower, and we are very glad we did. The quote from Creative Mirror and Shower was the lowest, but it is certainly no reflection of their high quality products and service. We also got $ 100 bucks for booking our appointment online, which was a nice bonus.
Tim from Creative Mirror came initially out to measure. He was respectful and professional and measured the space quickly. Our last doors had a giant strip of caulk between the guide rail along the ceiling, and Tim thought they could do a much better job installing the doors, and getting rid of the caulk entirely. I removed the old panels myself, and scraped off the old caulk, and to ensure a perfect fit in the clear opening, Tim came back to measure a second time.
When the mirrors were ready to be installed, which was about 2 weeks later, since we asked for a special, white powder coating, Tim and Joe came out to install the mirrors. They did a perfect job where even the handles were placed uniformly on both sides. Tim and Joe were pleasant, respectful and highly professional. I get the impression they’d be fun to hangout with too.
My wife and I are exceptionally pleased with the final results. The large panels slide effortlessly, which my wife loves, considering the old, failing doors moved like pyramid blocks up a hill, and my wife is quite small. The owner, Mark Pritikin, was even involved along the way, and checked in with us to see if we were happy with the results. Mark also explained the difference between the types of rails before we placed our order, and we went with aluminum rather than steel, since our old doors had a steel rail, and it was easily dented, interfered with the operation of the doors, and felt extremely cheap when I pulled it off the floor.
The finish on the mirrored panels is clear and uniform with no distortion, and for the price, the quality is truly fantastic. The rails are really nice too. We also like the fact, that since they spent so much time customizing the doors to fit exactly into the imperfect space, there is no visible, giant, unsightly wad of tapered caulk where the guide rail meets the ceiling.
All in all, I have to say that Creative Mirror and Shower delivers exceptional service, and their products are solid, well made and move very smoothly along the track. We are incredibly happy we chose them. I give them five stars for both quality of product and quality of service. We recommend them to our friends, family and associates, and I am glad to recommend them via Unilocal,they deserve it for sure.

I’M SO HAPPY I CAME ACROSS CREATIVE MIRROR AND SHOWER ON THE INTERNET!
I was desperate when I found out our new shower doors were too intricate for our construction guys to install them… After calling the manufacturers of the doors, in New Jersey, I found out that experts in these types of doors are needed to do the job, and it takes about 5 hours! So, I got on the internet and happened to find Creative Mirror and Shower. I called them last Friday to see if they could help me FAST. The owner, Mark, got on the phone, and talked to me in length about the doors. He agreed that experts are needed, and his installers had plenty of experience with these shower doors. However, since his company did not do the initial measurements, he wasn’t sure that what my husband and I bought from another company would fit properly. So Mark sent out his #1 installer, Tim on Tuesday. He and his helper, Ricky, did a BEAUTIFUL job, and did it in only 3 hours! After their tools and Ricky were back in their truck, ready to leave, Tim showed me the finished product. While opening and closing the sliding door to show me how easily and smoothly they glide, he noticed the slightest bit of rubbing sound. (I didn’t hear anything at all.) He went back to the truck to get Ricky and some tools to do some adjusting. After the adjustment, I then noticed the difference. I was so impressed that Tim went that extra mile to make it PERFECT. Thank you so much guys!!!

I remodeled my kitchen and purchased the painted glass backsplash from Creative Mirror. They just came out today to finish the install. Overall I am happy with the glass. However, it took six weeks to get the backsplash. When the sales rep came out for the initial measure he told me about two weeks. Then someone came out for the final measure he told me it would be at least 3 weeks. After I continued to bug them they finally came out to install 6 weeks later. They kept telling me they wanted to make sure they «got it right.» The contractor couldn’t finish my kitchen until these were installed (hood, pot filler faucet, trim on top of cabinets, etc.). My contractor gutted my old kitchen — removed cabinets, appliances, ripped up floors, walls and ceiling, put in new floors, plumbing and electric, painted and installed new cabinets and appliances in less than 4 weeks. Creative Mirror took 6 weeks for a kitchen backsplash. Had I known this up front I would have never used them and will never use them again. Pathetic communication, customer service and very disorganized, difficult company to work with.

We purchased a gorgeous mirror for our entry way. The buying/​haggling process wasn’t stressful and we walked out with a great deal. One of the younger. helper guys gently load our huge mirror into our tiny car-​no scratches, cracks, or marks! Well done, boys!
