Bent Tree Fountains Apartments

Very nice complex with awesome maintenance. Unlike Addison Circle, this is a quiet place with nice families and single people. Carrollton is a bit cheaper but not as classy for rentals. The pool is small and the tennis court is well done with lights. My cats loved the windows and birds. Air conditioning is okay but a bit underpowered. Fireplaces are good to have, in Dallas you may only need to keep wood for a while… gets too hot.

I moved to the Communities of Bent Tree Apartments from another apartment (Bent Tree Trails) literally down the road.
I specifically live in the Bent Tree Oaks property.
I seriously cannot wait until my lease is over.
There were signs in the very beginning, there were going to be a lot of problems. I wish i listened.
The woman who originally signed me up was no longer with the company within the week, and a lot of what we were told/​promised was not honored. This led several back and forth issues prior to moving in. A lot of inconsistencies, each time i interacted with the complex, I dealt with completely different people, who were completely lost on what to do. It was evident how disorganized the office was, but since I had already been signed up, i hoped this wouldn’t impact my actual stay. (in a nutshell, i was given the wrong apartment, signed up to the wrong apartment, with a higher rent I wanted, unable to view the apt to measure properly etc)
The actual apartment is, meh. I was supposed to get a microwave, but once i moved the apartment i got didn’t have one. The walls are extremely thin. Like, extremely thin. I can hear the person downstairs, across the hall vacuum. I can hear any type of conversation and discussion outside. Also, there is an issue with maintaining proper hot water. This has been discussed with management to no avail, we are essentially told there is nothing they can do.
I live by the Tennis courts, which is evidently where a group of unsupervised children spend their time, screaming, yelling and running around until their parents come home around 7. I know this, because u can hear when they are caught outside 2 – 3 hours later, since I have super thin walls.
All the apartments near me have been filled within the last month, and the people have been equally sketchy.
A package has been stolen off my doorstep (also a situation I was told, was unfortunate, but that is just a reality of ups– seriously?) there has already been notices of vandalism and burglary in my specific complex, and you see beer cans littered across the parking lot. Not to mention the entire lot reeks of weed on weekends.
If you are looking for a complex, seriously check down the street. Bent Tree Trails. They were fantastic, and I am going back as soon as my lease here is up.

I lived here over a year, paying almost $ 1300 for a two bed /​2.5 bath home with garage. You would think with the location of ‘Addison’ and price, you’d have excellent customer service in the complex. THIS IS THE RUDEST MANAGEMENT I have ever experienced in all my years living in apartments. Just like user @Natasha said a year ago, nothing has changed a bit. After COUNTLESS calls, emails and even contacting legal counsel, they sent maintenance in WEEKS after my initial order. My home was almost completely inhabitable for several days due to water leak, drilling and maintenance entering whenever they pleased. The office managers will literally treat you with the utmost disrespect, no matter what the issue is or how unbearable your circumstances are.

Words cannot describe how much I hate this place. If I could give it zero stars, I would. I’ve lived here for about six months now, and things have gone from bad to worse. The new management company, Concierge, has upgraded the interiors of many of the apartments. While they may seem nice, everything is cheaply made, and nothing works properly. This management company could also care less about its residents.
My biggest complaint is that I have not had proper hot water since I moved in here. I have tried talking to the manager and corporate, and nobody cares. It takes about 10 minutes of running the water in the bathroom for it to start getting hot. The water in the kitchen sink never gets hot. I told the management that I could deal with the shower, but I needed them to fix the kitchen. Instead of fixing the kitchen, they attempted to fix the shower, but somehow messed it up so that now I get no hot water in the shower or the kitchen. After multiple emails and phone calls, I finally got in touch with someone who said he would take care of it. Nobody came to fix it, so the next day, I finally walked into the office and explained my situation. It was Saturday, and they said nobody could fix it until Monday because my situation was not an emergency. They also said that I should have said something sooner if I needed it fixed during the week. WTF!!! I already put in multiple work orders during the week!!! Now I have been without hot water for almost a full week, and I am beyond livid.

I’ve lived here for just over 1 year and it has overall been a good experience. The units are older, and getting maintenance seems to be a bit of a chore at times, but for the price I love it.
