History

Established in 1992.

Upward Enterprises, Inc use’s adventure programs as a vehicle for experiential learning and team building and specializes in ropes challenge courses and portable low ropes challenge course. Our ropes challenge course based at the Claggett Center in Buckeystown, Maryland is one of the largest of its kind on the East Coast. The ropes challenge course is set in a beautiful country setting just outside of Frederick, MD, and is perfect for your corporate retreat and training engagement.

Clive F.

Business Owner

Clive Felgate is the owner and operator of Upward Enterprises and has over 35 years experience in physical and outdoor education. He served 27 years with the British Royal Air Force as a physical training instructor where he enjoyed teaching groups and individuals topics including outdoor survival, basic winter training, team building, and leadership.

Clive and his team look forward to welcoming your group and helping them to not only achieve their goals but to exceed them and of course to have fun doing it!
