It’s unfortunate when we get into accidents or mishaps w/​our vehicle & even more so when we get our car involuntarily impounded. No matter the situation, the car will need to be towed. As a result, this may sway our perceptions of the tow man, either as Friend or Foe.
I want to write a review about J Scott Motors to oppose the few bad ones I see on here about the company. My experience with the company has been nothing less than VIP stats. The company handles itself very professionally & straightforwardly. They follow all guidelines & state laws (whenever they provide tow service for the police.)
Let’s face it, tow guys are tough & rugged. They ALL emboss an intimidating demur. People are quick to pass judgement toward tow guys, yet these guys are also the same guys that comes to the rescue & assist when stranded.
With that said, J Scott Motors has all the qualities of an upstanding, hardened, & professional tow company, –since 1988! They are reliable, reasonable & fair.
It is also an auto mechanic shop. I own an older BMW & it’s tough to find a reputable mechanic that I can Trust to work on my car. The work that have been done there has been nothing but EXCEPTIONAL! They maintenance my car as well as FIXED my car. The service over exceeded my expectations. Now my car drives like new again! The mechanic is very knowledgeable & gets the job done!
*All merchant have a preference of accepted payment methods, –this company prefers ca$h. So, come prepared w/​cash along w/​all other necessary documents.
I highly rate & recommend this company.

This is the worst towing company I’ve ever dealt with in my life. The owner is one of the most rude individuals I’ve ever encountered in any business transaction. The behavior is really shady. My car was towed by the Concord police and they use this company. The guy won’t tell you the price to get your car back. He won’t even tell you when he will be there so you can pick the car up. It’s some kind of a runaround so that you have to pay more because the longer your car is there at his shop the longer he charges you storage fees. He makes you bring cash and tells you it will be under 200. He will however give you an actual charge. It’s inconceivable that a government agency a state police force deals with a company like this. All I can say is I hope this business goes under.

ABSOLUTELY rude and unprofessional. If you have a choice… choose a different company. The owner is the biggest a**hole I’ve ever met. Total scab. Tries to keep your car longer to collect the insurance money. Then gives one price and flips to another without explanation but plenty of attitude. An accident is stressful enough nobody needs this companies nonsense.

the tow driver was very unpleasent. sent him away and got another towing company to come lgl towing out of boxboro.

When you absolutely have to have your car impounded by the Maynard police: J. Scott Towing. Accept no substitute!
