History
Established in 2012.
The Warren is a free-to-enter festival site sat right in the heart of Brighton, next to the iconic St Peter’s Church. Voted Best Venue at the Brighton Fringe Awards previously, the site is dotted with trees, lit by festoon lighting and has large stretches of lawn suitable for families to relax in the sun. Coupled with brand-new intimate (and heated) seating areas, the site in 2016 will carry through the bucolic country garden feel but marry it with a dash of urban cool, reflecting the site’s location and making it a vibrant, friendly oasis in the centre of Valley Gardens.
For 2016, there will be two custom-built festival bars on site, each with their own individual look and feel. Food will be available from various outlets around the site, delivering an affordable, high quality and varied food offering throughout the day and into the night. During daytimes, the Warren will have a dedicated children’s area, with activities and kids entertainers as well as toys and games on hand.
