We come here every week to get our joint of meat for our Sunday roast. Generally we get our pork and lamb here but my favourite has to be the topside of beef.
There is a good selection of meats on display and if you ask they will cut the joints of meat to the size you need if they haven’t anything of that weight on show.
The meat here is a very good quality and the hygiene levels must be high as it always looks very clean and tidy.
The butchers here are always chatty. If you’re planning a a Come Dine With me style event or are cooking a special meal its worth coming to places like this as the butchers are knowledgeable and can offer you advice on the best cut of meat and the quantity you might need.
Personally I can’t wait for the summer to kick in properly so I can have a barbecue as the burgers on sale here are delicious.
Although this is mainly for the carnivores as well as purchasing your meat you can also buy other produce such as eggs.
