This is one of my hotspots to go at the weekend, it is suave yet typical of any other bar in Stalybridge. It is popular and is always too full for you to sit down. But they do have a open deck area at the back which is nice to sit out on whatever weather. The place is pretty loud so you do have to shout to actually here what you are saying. Drinks can be expensive though, it all depends on what you choose to drink.

Lounge. You don’t know whether or not you’re being invited in do you? In all honesty pretty much all types frequent Lounge Bar during the day for a spot of something to eat or a few drinks. It looks swanky outside and in, and has canal views from their little raised terrace at the back — if you stand up. With swanky décor though come swanky prices and although they boast pints under £2, their prices are among the highest round here. And I can’t really say that it has a lot of its own charm to contend with a branch of the ever popular Wetherspoons across the way and a few doors down.
