Confuoco specialises in delivering personalised, relevant but exciting tuition to all ages in a range of subjects. Our aim is to help you believe in yourself, build your confidence and give you the tools to achieve your potential.

We offer private tuition:

A Level — Music, Philosophy and ICT

GCSE Science, Maths, Law and ICT, EAL

KS2 — all subjects (small groups considered)

KS3 — all subjects (small groups considered)

Revision — a special programme to maximise your exam results

Instrumental tuition — Piano, violin, viola, drum kit, voice and guitar.

History

Established in 2004.

Confuoco was established in 2004 with my first two (amazing) students — Annalie and Louise. Since then we have grown exponentially and now have a full role, five staff and a waiting list. We offer weekly community musical events such as the Confuoco Choir and Confuoco Percussion Fusion.

In 2008, I started organising simple concerts to showcase the children’s musical talent in an informal but ‘real’ concert. Monies raised from these concerts goes into a charitable trust from which students may be allocated a bursary or scholarship. It is important to me that every student, no matter their background financially or emotionally has an opportunity to succeed.

Business Owner

Hi there. I’m Matthew, the owner and director of Confuoco. I started music from an early age and have enjoyed a kaleidoscopic journey, the experiences and knowledge from which I love to pass on to our new generation.

Some of my achievements are — studying music performance at the Birmingham Conservatoire, a Music Performance degree from Leeds University, lead violinist in several Symphony orchestras.

My proudest moments are watching students enjoy their success when I pass on my skills and knowledge.
