I

Meet the Business Owner

Jason S.

Business Owner

I initially started the business as the last HETAS registered solid fuel engineer in Essex looking after the ageing generation of solid fuel (coal and wood) users. In those days Solid Fuel was a declining industry however I looked to Wood Burning as a carbon neutral alternative to coal, oil and gas. Off the back of the interest in woodburning stoves over the past 10 years, the business has moved into sustainable woodland management and log supplies which has helped put a price on the wood fuel sourced locally. Land owners and local councils can now see the benefits of protecting and enhancing the trees still left in Essex while tree planting schemes now make more sense. It is my aim to use my business as a tool to put a price on the local natural environment. More green spaces are good for wildlife and flora while being essential for humans.

Scarlett’s now offer more services in our drive for a more efficient and sustainable future. We are Domestic Energy assessors and Green Deal asse
