Doug’s Dogs’ mission is to ensure that your dog has an amazing day and is exceptionally happy.

With highly energetic walks and constant behavioural improvement through entirely positive techniques, whichever type of care we provide for your dog, we will ensure that they come home tired, happy, safe and secure.

We’re walking dogs throughout East London. Walks take place along the Thames, in Victoria Park, Hackney Marshes and more. In groups of no more than 5 — 6 dogs (solo walks can be arranged), we provide a full hour of fun, with as much off lead opportunity as possible.

History

Established in 2015.

After an intensive month training in San Francisco with renowned dog business, Pawsitive Tails, Doug returned to the UK to set up his own venture.

The business aims to provide dog owners with excellent, reliable care for their ‘best friend’. There are many great dog walkers in London but Doug’s Dogs focuses on intensive exercise and constant behavioural improvement — your dog should come back tired (perhaps a little muddy !), increasingly engaged and responsive.

Doug grew up with dogs as pets and has always loved them. Living in London and working in offices that weren’t pet friendly limited options to have a dog, so Doug relied on cats — great but just not the same ! For years, Doug made do with walking other people’s dogs; more recently he took to throwing a ball for his son — again, it’s just not the same.

Doug’s Dogs was therefore founded to make it easier for more people to responsibly own dogs in London, because he knows how your happy dog can make you a great deal happier.

Doug loves dogs. He wants to ensure that your dog is exceptionally happy — that’s the mission of Doug’s Dogs.

For the last 25yrs working in the Arts and creative industries, he’s been making people happy by delivering some of the most exciting creative projects in London and beyond. That’s given him a tonne of experience to help Doug’s Dogs deliver its mission.

He’s creative, knows East London like the back of his hand, is as eager as the dogs he walks to get out in the parks every day (whatever the weather) and is highly responsible (he’s a school governor after all ! CRB checked; fully insured; paying tax; linking up with local dog charities to support them).

And did we mention, he loves dogs — some say he even looks like one !
