I love this department store, presentation is so important and I’m always impressed by how clean and bright this store is. Even the concession stores maintain the same style.
Its so important with a department store to show things as collections, I think there should be high standards of visual merchandising and the selection of goods displayed, this store is perfect at this. There is nothing worse then an overstocked store as it will always look messy and the doesn’t show of the products.
I got this amazing pair of silk pyjamas half price and its still my favourite thing to wear. Even John Lewis sales rails are well put together.
Really like this store and is good alternative from going into the city centre, only limitations are the beauty counters which are good but small.

I don’t think there is any other shop in the local area that offers this. I love John Lewis anyway. It’s got great stuff and it’s value range is good quality. I never feel like a poor second citizen when buying their value range and the staff have always been unfailingly polite whenever I’ve been in there. I can’t wait for them to come to Birmingham.
In the meantime I go to Solihull mostly because of the parent room. I can’t remember on which floor it is, butt’s a great space. There are comfy chairs for breast feeding, loads of changing places for babies and toddlers to have their nappies sorted and a few toilet cubicles. The floor is carpeted and it’s a good place to go and have sone peace while you change, feed, have a rest etc.
The other reason I love John Lewis is that once you’ve bought your items, you can leave them at customer service and pick them up later. This mans you can carry on shopping without lugging around bulky bags. Brilliant.
