Not happy Mr Bannatyne!
Booked a spa «day» at the «Sensory spa» here with my cousin for her birthday and felt I badly let her down.
It should not be advertised as a spa, it’s mostly just a gym with a couple of spa facilties attached. No dressing gown and fluffy slippers. No toiletries to use!
There is a gym — like I want to go to one of those when I’m having a chilled out day — a dry sauna, steam room and a jacuzzi and pool. And that is it. How you can spend a whole day here I don’t know.
The worst part however was the food. Dreadful! Very limited vegetarian options, so I asked for a cheese and mushroom omlette instead of the cheese and tomato one which was on the menu, but was told they were pre made and I couldn’t have one with mushrooms in. How hard is it to make an omlette! When it arrived, it was microwaved — burnt around the edges and rubbery and cold in the middle. But it had taken so long to arrive — considering we were the only people in there — that we ate them anyway as we were so hungry.
Will never be going back there again.
